“The Food comes out fast , the food is always hot temp but I prefer it that way.Its a family business they are very polite but the place is small but still a very comfortable place to enjoy good food . I do take my own silverware bc there's is flimsy and cheap napkins and extra soy sauce bc they are stingy with the extras .“

“The food is always good here and the portions are huge. My only complaint is that I always have a note on my order to not ring the doorbell (sleeping baby) but they still always ring the doorbell. But this is definitely my go to Chinese place in the Pasadena area.“

“I went there after working, ordered, and had my food in my hand within minutes, piping hot. The portions are incredibly generous, they put the rice in a separate container because it wouldn't fit in the other box 😂 definitely worth the price and could be multiple meals (unless you are especially hungry)“

“The Oriental Wok on Red Bluff in Pasadena is exactly what a neighborhood Chinese restaurant should be. An older building with shoddy parking. Supplies stacked up along the wall when you walk in. The smell of years of service to the community in the air. All of these should tell you that you’re about to experience true quality for a reasonable price.
I’ve recently moved to the area, and this has been a go-to for Friday dinner for weeks. The egg rolls are larger than other places, and always very crispy. I love the robust use of cabbage in them. The wonton soup is always served scalding hot (seriously, though, be careful handling it). I love the addition of cilantro to the broth. I have had several chicken dishes (Sesame, Garlic, and General Tso), and every one has been sensational. I love that the chicken is tender and really absorbs all the flavors it is cooked with. So far, the only disappointment has been the lo mein. It is like mall food. Doesn’t seem made from scratch, but reheated. Veggies are limp and basic. But, everything else is excellent.
Service is hit or miss. There are friendlier people than others, but no one is rude or anything. Everyone working here seems to value their job a lot. Love this place!“

“Greatest Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. Literally has made all other Chinese food places taste bland or just had me thinking I wish I was sitting in those red leather seats again. Dining in is the way I most commonly eat, and it’s magical every time. The cashier is always so friendly and sweet, you can tell they like being there and treat you well. Everything is reasonably priced and the portions are very hearty, I’d say that I eat a lot, and the sesame chicken with no rice (the best chicken on the menu imo) always fills me up without making me feel sick. 100/10 please come here and give these kind people business!!!“

“I have eaten here since 2008. I’ve always received fresh and flavorful food. The prices are amazing and in this time when many restaurants have priced themselves out of business, this business is pricing themselves to thrive. My favorite is the Singapore fun noodles! It’s delicious. Also ordered Kung Pao chicken with lo mein and fried shrimp egg rolls. The lo mein is heaven. Try it out!“
