“A great place to hang out. They've made a ton of improvements to the outside space including a big screen to show sports. The inside is well set up to hang out even for large groups, or to play board games. They also have a great event space and host cool classes frequently. The Austin Creative Reuse craft night I went to was really fun.“

“Finding this hidden gem turned our meal into a “lunch date” for my hubby and me. Loved the ambience of the hotel. The restaurant has open feel with an inviting, well-stocked bar. We split the queso/hummus appetizer and then shared the patty melt with a side of fries. The appetizer was served immediately and was warm and yummy. The double meat patty sandwich was more than ample to split and the fries were perfectly seasoned, crispy to the bite and soft on the inside. Just perfect! Bonus, parking was just outside the door.“

“Chic and cozy atmosphere with a fantastic cocktail menu - even with custom menu crafted by their talented bartender, Mike! It can often be challenging to find a place who can make a decent Manhattan and Mike makes one of the best. Definitely unexpected for a hotel bar and was pleasantly surprised. Mike deserves a raise!“

We had dessert as well, creme brulee was largest portion we'd ever had, and so creamy. Also had the lemon icing cookie, which was amazing. Like a small cake. The service was attentive and friendly. My friend and I had a nice glass of white wine, small feta salad and a Gryo, which all were very good BTW.. Also added hummus, some pita bread and extra tzatzikki sauce. Food is great and obviously they have alot of other Greek items. My friend and I went there for a quiet early evening meal. Girl-time catch up. Helen our server was amazing. “We had the most amazing dinner at the Water Trough! Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and the manager Bobby is so nice and fun as well. Great places to sit inside and outside. We loved the atmosphere with great vibe, live music (very talented guitarist and singer) that was a great volume, nice for the atmosphere but wasn’t too loud so you can still enjoy conversation. When it got windy it was a bit chilly and they turned on these beautiful outdoor gas fires that made it nice and warm.

And the food was delicious! We got quesadillas, chicken fried steak and the pear/buratta/cherry tomato salad and would highly recommend all of these dishes. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I sometimes stop by here when doing errands and I have no issues. Customer service is fantastic and food is tasty and fair priced. Only complain is the drive through option is set up a little weird. There’s plenty of room for a line before the order window, but when you get to the order window and pay/receive your order, there is almost no room to pull back out onto the frontage road, so you have to stay in the window spot of the line until the road is clear which just causes backup in the line. Can’t really fix this but something I find mildly annoying, but not enough to not go again.“
