“Nov 2024 - My family has been coming to this Torchy's location most Sundays for the past two years. We've always liked this location -- the covered patio seating, the friendly staff -- but over the past few months it seems like the place is running like a well-oiled machine. We have several family members who have food restrictions, and our orders have been consistently correct, even though they're full of substitutions. The portions are generous and the tacos of the month are consistently interesting and delicious. We take maximum advantage of the rewards program to get regular free items! Torchy's has been a great addition to the greater Austin restaurant scene, and this is a particularly solid location.

Dietary restrictions: Good options for gluten free folks. Can ask to get dairy removed on many dishes.

“My husband and I happened to come across this restaurant when we were at the Arabic grocery store next door. I am so glad we did! The ladies went above and beyond to serve us and were so sweet! Their food Is made from scratch and is delicious!!! We had the falafel wrap and chicken shawarma wraps and took some to go! So glad we found you ladies and I can’t wait to come back! شكراً“

“I love this place. The tacos are excellent, the staff is wonderful, and everyone I’ve brought here has loved it too. I decided to order a ton of tacos for my daughter’s birthday party to accommodate gluten free, vegetarian, etc, and they were a huge crowd pleaser! They had my big order ready right on time (I called a few hours early to order), helped me carry it out, labeled all the bags, and sent plenty of red and green salsa (very important!). I love this local, non-chain spot for tacos and more.“

“My wife and I have discovered Simon Lee bakery in Pflugerville in 2005. Our first event was a birthday cake that we had them prepare for us and it was just perfect from decoration to taste. Since then we have always gone back there for special occasions. Just recently for my wife's 60th Birthday, the cake was a white cream with raspberry filling...I mean, it was too scrumptious for words. The owner Judy was the best coordinator throughout the process. Thank you Judy for all your help with making my wife's birthday a success event.“

“Tommie our waitress was great. She was friendly and checked on us fequently. We got our food quick and our it was delicious. I had the salmon/shrimp with bourbon sauce and my husband had the full rack of ribs. The portions are big so we both ended up taken food home. I highly recommend Cheddars, (Pflugerville) the food, service and atmosphere is worth it.“

“There are many restaurants near this high school, but none more tolerant and consistent. Their products are always fresh and delicious. I have lived here since 2001 in the same place. This is by far the best fried chicken for 10 square miles.“

“My family has been going to Baris since it opened in 1997 when we lived in Pflugerville. My youngest son turned 21 and requested Baris for his birthday last night. We haven't been for a few years as we moved about 30 minutes away. It was so much fun visiting an old fave. Food quality is amazing, the menu hasn't changed and we were delighted to see the daughter that was bussing tables as a kid is now running the restaurant. Such a local gem. Thank you Brianna for your hospitality last night!“

“This is the BEST Mod pizza I’ve ever been to. Every time I come here the staff is so welcoming and friendly. Alexa is my all time favorite person and is the sole reason I go out of my way to this location. Didia the manager is so cool and friendly. The whole store is a vibe. The food was amazing and slapped so hard I went home and fell into a coma. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“I never write reviews but I felt the need to for here. The service was amazing, we were nicely checked on and greeted by the staff and were treated great. The food was yummy though the edamame was pretty salty. The atmosphere was calm other than the entry door closing a little aggressively as people went through. Overall it was great!“
