She not only did a beautiful job with the decorations, but she also customized the cake by dyeing the batter blue to add to the excitement of a gender cake reveal. We ordered the wedding cake flavor (almond) with vanilla frosting, and it was absolutely delicious! Arely was so sweet and polite, and she made our vision for the custom cake a reality. I cannot recommend Arely and her business, Something Sweet Bakery, enough!“

“Oh my gosh, from the service to the food everything was amazing. The store is clean, cute and quick. We met the owner, it's a family business which we love to support. The bagels were great! The are hand rolled and boiled that morning. My husband had a sandwich and it was huge and the taste was on point. We don't find a lot of other bagel places that we like, but this was just like being at home. If you are in Houston this is a must try!“

“Never disappoints! Open early for us early birds. As a creature of habit, I most often have a pastry and black coffee so nothing too exotic but it is delicious every time and every now and then, like today, I earn a free one through their rewards program. Fresh made bread is also delicious as a take home item. Nice quiet areas to work along with open areas for socializing so it has something for all visitors, including a covered outdoor seating area. Plenty of seating that is so often scarce in other coffee shops. The live houseplants bring the outside feeling indoors.“
