McDonald's in Plano

“There's plenty of McDonald's around this area, but this one has the highest reviews for a reason. Your food is made to order and hot. The chicken nuggets and fries were exceptionally scorching hot. I love it. The restaurant is also clean.“

“I'm leaving this review because there was a misunderstanding about my order, but they were prompt to fix it. They went above and beyond, not just to make sure the order was correct, but they gave me a bonus sandwich for my trouble. That wasn't necessary or expected, but it was appreciated!“

“I can only speak from personal experience, but I’ve liked this location for a while. I come here to draw constantly and the employees here have been rather nice. I honestly hate the way most McDonald’s looks now a days and I don’t like the idea of the kiosks replacing the cashiers most of the time.

However, their biggest improvement as of late are the delicious McCrispy Tenders which are a massive improvement. And not only am I happy to finally see them return, and that they’ve been consistently good, but that they’ve announced it being a permanent part of their menu. Major plus on my part. And unlike some people’s opinions, I still think their fries are awesome.

What make their new tenders so good is that it tastes like a vastly improved version of the Chicken Selects. It has the same breading as the Selects with that nice peppery coat to it, but it has the improved meat that’s better than the Buttermilk Tenders that they had 5 years ago. Classic breading, better meat, and you’ve got gold. And as a Chicken Tender Connoisseur, I’m very impressed with the McCrispy Tenders.

If they can find a way to bring back the chocolate ice cream and restore their establishment to looking more old school/classic/retro instead of blocky, dull, & grey, then it will be an even bigger improvement.

Still, finally giving the customers what they want, bringing back the chicken tenders which finally places like Wendy’s are following up on, and delivering on it in a big way while also starting a new food wars with their wraps, is a step in the right direction and a huge improvement.

As long as they continue to keep the tenders on the menu, offer new deals and rewards including adding the tenders to the rewards program, and making more consistent improvements, I’ll gladly keep coming back.“

“I do door dash so I go to a lot of McDonalds and observe the atmosphere, service, and operations of soda fountains. Today I am at this location as a customer. The service from staff is out of this world. The team service experience staff member is attentive to everyone she sees and so polite and helpful! Not only to customers but other workers. She is maintaing the lobby quickly and efficiently. I wish I could have caught her name. I sat in the lobby about 30 mins, she took orders, cleaned up the lobby. This is one of the cleanest stores. I just ordered a couple of items. The apple pie was on of the best I have had recently. It says a lot when the fountain area is clean and the soda is so crisp and fresh.I wouldn't normally review a McDonald's bit this location is impressive and it should be noticed for good food, cleanliness, and service.“

“I always love the food from McDonald's. This one, in particular, always gets my food hot and ready when I go. It's not healthy by any means, but it's what you expect for what you pay. I love getting two double cheese burgers for a great price on the deals menu.“

“There should be a requirement where managers must speak English reasonably well. This was the case for me, thankfully. The Dr Pepper at the self serve drink station was connected to DIET DR PEPPER!! “Has McDonald's goes, the kids that work? There have been working there for quite a while, and are very on top of their jobs. Sometimes you got some kids that clearly do not care, but what do you expect from fast food. Really good environment, and a great play place.“

Inside, the lobby was clean but sparsely populated, with a handful of early risers sipping McCafé coffee under the glow of omnipresent TVs airing morning news. The service was a mixed bag: my order was spot-on, but the cashier’s distracted vibe hinted at a busy shift. Wi-Fi worked like a charm, and the mobile ordering option saved the day when I tweaked my order on the fly. With a 2.4-star rating from recent reviews, it’s not flawless—expect occasional hiccups—but for a quick, reliable bite, it hits the mark.“

“Really nice interior. Employees are nice. Has lobby fountain drink machine for refills and play area for children. Obviously it's still a McDonalds so it has all the baggage that comes with that, but it's pretty good for a McDonalds. Kitchen equipment is noisy, but all McDonald's are like that. (interior glass wall in lobby helps a little) No WiFi, but usually Maccas WiFi is too slow to use anyways“

“First time to McDonald's in years. Chicken nuggets were hard and barely warm. Reported it to the young super-busy skinny staff at the counter, who offered to make me a new batch--exemplary service. The new fresh batch was almost the best in town--quality. To err is human, but to be willing and accountable to correct for our errors is commendable.

We also witnessed this staff having to patiently deal with an unnecessary amount of immature attitudes from some young arrogant customers. She deserves a huge raise!“

“I witnessed a manager assisting an elderly couple both in wheelchairs. He was so kind and patient and helped them from the time they arrived until they left. He brought them anything they asked for. There is too little of that in the world today. What a great soul. Every now and then McDonald's gets real quality people“

“Employees are polite, friendly, but not trained to deliver to table, only successful directly without saying a word 1 out of 10 times. 6 times they'd yell the table number or items in order waiting for someone to respond. 3 times out of 10 they'd leave order in pickup, not yelling. Today is one of those days. Waited 10 minutes, asked manager, who asked employees, who pointed to item waiting in pickup box.“

“I mean. It's freaking McDonald's. Y'all need to stop leaving bad reviews based on common knowledge. They make generic food. Sometimes they screw up orders. For a fast food joint? 5 stars. You're not comparing this to a fancy place like Tex de Brazil. Base your reviews on where the hell you went.“
