“I had never been to a panda express before. They had a lot of different food options. The employees were awesome and explained the food to me when I asked about certain food choices. The food was hot and fresh. Also, they asked me if I wanted to sample anything. I thought that was nice since I had never been there before. I would hate to buy food and then not like it. It would've been a waste of money. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat. God bless“
“We stopped by just to check out the space and menu here at Pho N Wok and ended up staying for dinner. It was quiet on this Thursday at 5:45 and then things exploded, filling up the small dining area rapidly and leaving to go orders standing or waiting in their vehicles. I can see why. The menu here is terrific. We love Vietnamese cuisine and tried the Vietnamese House Fried Egg Rolls and the Shrimp Spring Rolls. The fried rolls were stuffed with pork, rice paper wrapped and fried perfectly, served with a sweet nuoc cham. The Spring rolls were fresh rolled with 4 shrimp halves, vermicelli noodles, lettuce, bean sprouts and cilantro and served with a peanut sauce. They were large and tightly packed. They could have used some pickled veggies like carrots and or daikon; but otherwise they were well prepared and pretty yummy. It took us awhile to peruse the menu. There's more appetizers, and soup, pho, noodle salads and pork, beef, shrimp, chicken and vegetarian entrees that encompass Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered a Chargrilled Pork Meatball Vermicelli Noodle Salad. They came back to say they were out of the Pork Meatballs; but they graciously charred some chicken for me instead. My husband ordered the Beef Curry. We both ordered a heat level of 3. Our entrees were both quite good and fairly spicy. My husband chose the fried rice instead of the steamed. He found it to be flavorful as it had some mini- vegetables and it paired well with his tender beef and mushrooms and crisp pea pods, carrots, and onions in the coconut milk curry sauce. My dish, the vermicelli noodle salad, needed salt for me. I found the nuoc cham dressing sweet and the pickled daikon and carrots sweet as well. My waitress was able to ask the kitchen for actual fish sauce. The menu identifies the served sauce as fish sauce; but it's a dressing or dipping sauce - their version of nuoc cham. It's a preference and my preference is sweet and salty, even a little sour, too. But the salad itself was excellent. Perfect vermicelli with veggies and delicious chicken. Our service was impeccable, in spite of how busy they were. Our food was scrumptious. We will be back to try the Pho and other delicious sounding entrees. They have various Pad Thai, Lo Mein, Vietnamese Chow Mein and Singapore Noodles. There's a lot here to choose from. It will be fun. Next time I'll get photos!“
“I first want to say shout out to the good service that we had with our server she did an excellent terrific job even though that day was very busy we had lots of people that came in for dinner time and she did the best that she could constantly come and asking us would we like something to drink taking off our place off of the table asking us was everything okay did we need something she was very attentive to us and I love that we gave her a good tip and cash and then we also put her a tip in on the credit card I definitely will come back and ask for her to be my server the food was good only one thing??? there was so much pasta and noodles in each one of the containers that when you did get some pasta or noodles it was sticky and starchy and the nasty kind of way and I really didn't want to get any stir fried rice but it was either to get stir fried rice or eat the sticky nasty pasta noodles so that's the only one thing I didn't like it was too much noodles and pasta in there that they just stayed there I went and got seconds and it looked like nobody even touched the pasta or the noodles but other than that everything was good a little warm it could be a little hotter but it was okay it was delicious“
“This place is amazing for the price.I was just traveling through here but was hungry. This place has a drive thru and I wanted something different. The line was long at dinner time which I took to be a good sign, and I'm glad I did.My food was hot and tasted fresh, their brown sauce was just... So good. I picked up some cream cheese wontons, combo lo mein, and some cashew chicken. The price had me skeptical at how good it would be but I'm glad to be wrong. The value for the food was great. If I'm traveling through Waxahachie again I'll definitely go out of my way to go here again! It would be a regular spot if I lived nearby.“
“Went on 2/14/24 around 9pm. The male cook was amazing. Very friendly and even helped my Spanish speaking parents when it came to the sauces. Also helped my boyfriend and I with mixing sauces!! Our server was great too, female African American.“
“Their egg foo young is to die for. I lived in Missouri and Minnesota and both have some of the best Asian cuisine. Dallas Chinese sucks but not Sunny Wok. Egg foo young is judged by the gravy and I must say their gravy is done, how it should be done. The chicken wings are battered and fried, not naked like most Chinese restaurants in Dallas. Now Sunny Wok gets all my take out business.“
“Just your average Chinese restaurant in my opinion. It wasn't bad by any means. I got my order taken fast and the food was hot, atmosphere was pretty laid back, I liked the view. But it wasn't anything unique and they didn't have any fountain drinks so that kinda sucked. Had to drink a lukewarm coke from a bottle.“
“One of our Go-To spots for Chinese. I always order the Szechuab Beef and my husband gets the combination fried rice. The egg rolls are large and tasty! We've been ordering here for years. It ceased being an eat-in restaurant a couple of years ago during the pandemic, I think. Now you call in orders and pick up outside at a walk-up window.“
