“Our 52nd anniversary dinner was delicious and delightful as usual. We started with the Brie, our favorite appetizer. Then we decided to select from the menu benefitting Meals on Wheels. The poblano soup, Asian salmon, and one dessert for each of us were wonderful. Francis was his charming self. Our waiter was attentive and efficient.”

“We tried Dove Creek Cafe a few weeks ago, and it is home cooking. They have a scheduled special for each day of the week posted. I could eat there every day. We've been back twice in the past two weeks. The chicken salad is so fresh, and the fish is excellent. Construction kept us away for a while, but I'm happy I found this wonderful place.”

“My husband and I had the island bourbon chicken on a stick and island veggie fried rice from their booth at Arts For All this evening. We were extremely satisfied with both dishes! The chicken was perfectly cooked and the rice had good flavor. Definitely recommend this business.”

“Today I finally tried Layne’s, it was wonderful. The chicken is so much better than Canes or Slim Chickens. This is the best chicken I’ve had besides making homemade tenders, which is exactly what it reminded me of. The chicken was tender and the crust/batter is crispy. Everything I ordered was top notch and delicious. My Cowgirl got the Seafood Platter and enjoyed every bite. So, good food, very good service and an excellent atmosphere. “This was our first time here Friday night and my husband and I will definitely be returning. Great quality food especially their specialty pizzas. Hot honey pizza pie is amazing! Also ordered a supreme, which is nothing extraordinary, but it all seemed fresh and great quality ingredients. There dough and sauce. Chefs kiss. 😚 It’s nice to see people having fun at work and still getting their job done. Great atmosphere maybe not necessarily the most romantic but a good spot to grab a bite to eat, a beer and chat with friends. Very home town vibes. I believe our server’s name was Dylan, younger gentlemen, moving and groovin and getting the job done. He did a great job.”

They have great Indian food, and the service is really nice—person named Meera will take care of you.”

“I stopped here to grab lunch and I must say the agua de horchata is the closest I've tasted to the ones I used to get in Mexico and these memories are from over 20years ago. That in of itself made this place worth it. However, the gorditas were also good got 3 each with a different kind of meat. Even though one looked like it was just boiled and wouldn't have much flavor. I was wrong it was surprisingly very tender and flavorful. If I'm ever in the area I hands down will be stopping by again to try something different except for the horchata that's a staple.”

We arrived about two hours before closing and the restaurant was already in full end-of-day mode: chairs on tables and floors being mopped like the finale had started early. Totally get wanting a head start, but the cleaning solution was very strong and ended up making our food taste like it. Brisket with hints of fresh citrus wasn’t quite what we ordered 😅
Would happily come back—just earlier, before the cleaning crew starts closing duties 2hrs early.”

“Eat at this location nearly every other Friday, and it’s usually very fast, friendly and accurate. However, Friday the 10th, this was not the case. As I didn’t recognize more than two folks, I figure there are a bunch of new hires. Large fries were less than half-full, 5-count nuggets had two that were simply bread & didn’t get the requested sauces. Since we were a dine-in customer, the issues were resolved quickly and efficiently… but had I been a drive-thru order, I might not return. Luckily, I’m sure it was a fluke, and I know they usually do a lot better, so I’ll be back. This is simply a heads up for the managers that y’all weren’t on your game today. 2/10/2023 @ 1145.”
