McDonald's in Round Rock

“I was happy just to get something to eat that night. I thought I was going to get Arby’s because it was supposed to be open but it wasn’t. I’m not a regular fast food person but when you’re on the road you have to accept what’s available.“

“Coming here expecting five star Michelin service from a fast food joint is ridiculous. If you wanted that you’re at the wrong place. These people work hard to bring you cheap and affordable food. Anyone who complains should just hire a personal chef or stop being so lazy and actually cook for your kids.“

“It all started on a warm september morning. I roke up in my bed with a smile, knowing that today was the day i could get my mcnugget meal... on my 6 hour drive to the walmart mcdonalds in round rock texas, i was thinking about how warm and delicious my nuggets would be.... i was so excited i nearly crashed into a family of 5. when i finally got to mc donalds at 6:53 pm, i stared at the menu for a good 30 minutes, before deciding what i wanted.
What i got was a 6 piece mcnugget happy meal with a small fry, apple slices, and a small dr pepper. oh how ecstatic i was, waiting for my meal.
when i got my meal i was greeted by familiar scent. i open the box to find exactly what i had ordered, 6 nugs, small fry, arple slices, and a dr pepper... i finally dug in... Nugget #1 was warm but not too warm. lightly salted and cooked to perfection.
Nugget #2 was slightly colder than the last, and was a bit more moist too.
Nugget #3.... hoo boy... where do i start... nugget #3 was the best I'd ever had... my heart fluttered as i took my first bite.. ill never forget nugget #3
Nugget #4 was forgettable. not bad but not exactly good either...
On nugget #5 i decided to try to mix things up.
rather than dipping it 1 time like i normally do, i dipped it twice instead.
this really shook up the atmosphere of the mcdonalds, the mood shifted and i was slightly frightened, yet excited.
Unfortunately, i dropped nugget #6 due to a mandatory evacuation of the walmart in which the mcdonalds was.
there was a bomb threat. i went home disappointed...“

“I have been coming to this McDonalds since it first opened and I had the best experience with a gentleman named Oliver in the drive thru. I pulled up to the first window having ordered a large double quarter pounder meal and 20 nuggets. He asks me to give him a second and he asks me if I would be willing to change my large meal into a basket of fries with 20 piece, with the burger and drink being separate because of a bundle that they had. It turned out to be a dollar cheaper for more food! I think it was so generous of Oliver to go out of his way to get me the most bang for my buck. I normally go to the one on E. Palm Valley but I think this might be my new go to. Thank you Oliver for all of your help! He was working the first window on 7/7/2025 at 8:16pm and I hope he gets the wonderful recognition he deserves!“

The drive-thru experience was seamless, and the sandwich was hot, fresh, and perfectly consistent with the McDonald’s brand. Kudos to the operators working at this well-run establishment!“

“We come to this location every time we come into town, which is usually a Saturday, and it's always a great experience. We always use the drive-through, and we always get breakfast, and it's always great. The other great part is the customer service. The staff is always so nice. Keep it up!“
