“We just moved here to st hedwig and I found this local restaurant, I wanted to try their breakfast after reading the positive reviews and they did not disappoint. We stopped quickly to get 4 bacon egg and bean tacos to go, my husband who is really picky loved them and so did I. The tacos were so delicious along with the beans, the tortilla was very soft. I definitely want to come here again to dine in ?

“I will be stopping here every day! The staff is so uplifting and friendly. The gentleman at the door (the face of the restaurant you see on the way in and the way out) is phenomenal! I literally leave in a better mood every morning. (even when I am already in a good mood!) The food is great the servers are great and the price is right. If you are one of the folks who had come here pre-covid and experienced the opposite, let me tell you, this is not the same place. This is worth the drive over even when I am not on my way to work!!“

“My Dad & I recently ate there this last Saturday evening. We have been searching for a good mexican food restaurant after El Ranchito's closed in Seguin. That was my go to restaurant for my 92 year old Dad for 40 years. He ordered the Mexican plate and was delighted everything was delicious. I knew we have finally found our new go to place when he put their salsa over everything on his plate. Love their corn tortillas, the best.😋👏👏👏“

“My food was delicious I ordered the Plato Mexicano and everything was delicious except the beans tasted a little burned. I ordered a Blue Milagro margarita which was very tasty.
**Update- this is still one of my favorite places to eat Mexican food. The enchiladas were nice and cheesy but the rice has always been my go to. On top of that I love how they bring us chips and salsa before we even order our drinks.“

“VERY VERY NICE PEOPLE VERY VERY GOOD FOOD!!it’s hard to find good food with amazing customer service on FM 78 (I live in FOD). When I tell you they are just waaaay too kind, I MEAN IT! I’m pretty sure I have the flu and wanted a no nonsense quick and easy meal for my littles, THEY NAILED IT! Come here y’all! Inn no ordered 3 mini tacos plates and an asada burrito!“

“We placed a to go order for four people. The girl taking our order was very nice and the order was ready in a timely fashion. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals of street tacos , biraccho beans, chicken quesadilla, and chicken fajita taco salad. Definitely a good choice!“

“We love this place, have been coming for 4 yrs now. Today was probably the first time I felt somewhat uncomfortable, I felt the Restraurant was being very one sided in their political view with what program customers had to watch. I asked politely could they please find something else to put on that had nothing to do with politics such as the View. There was no compromise whatsoever. Maybe keep your business out of your political views. Probably won’t be coming back.“

“First time at Alondras in La Vernia,TX. A gem of a Mexican restaurant, friendly hometown atmosphere. I ordered A Gordita and A Tostada, both with picadillo as the meat choice. The Gordita was stuffed with just the right amount of freshly prepared ingredients to make it delicious, and I might add it was not greasy at all like you may experience at some other restaurants. The Tostada was equally tasty, freshly prepared and crispy. The complimentary chips and salsa were an extra bonus to round up my meal.“

“When I find a place that I like, I usually tell myself, "This is a do-over." Mike's Taco House is one of those places. I really like their breakfast tacos. They will make them how you want them. I like to add potatoes and cheese to the chorizo and egg tacos; they really pack them full. The service has always been friendly. I would recommend this place if you're in the area. As for the atmosphere, I think it's too small of a location for their operation. It's not really inviting for dine-in customers. Good news, they have a drive-up window, so don't let that distract you from checking them out.“

“I hate driving in universal city. But the only place I will get barbacoa tacos is this place right here. Their all meat barbacoa tacos are the best. The green sauce is fire. Most of the people I see working are the same ones I've seen for ten years. I can't say enough really.“

“Ate here for 1st time despite living just down road. Boy have I been missing out on good food.
Great service. Connected to ExxonMobil gas station.
Note - due to I10 construction getting in/out can be a bit tricky at times. However worth it.
