“I love pica taco♡ the most amazing tacos for a reasonable price :)Edited to add- they are the only taco place where they greet me by name and will specifically make my bacon soft on my tacos just because I ask for it :) they really are amazing, family oriented, loving, people :)Edited to add- the girl with the piercings at the window and every single employee there are amazing souls Inside and out. Everyone has a rough day from time to time. Give grace where grace is due?“
“Great food and sorry to all the Karens giving bad reviews; food costs more now and no one likes when you self absorbed people act all extra and order everything different and confusing. Employees are always outgoing even when they're busy and I have visited at least once a week for 3 years and never once had a bad experience.“
“We came for dinner on a busy Wednesday evening. The hosted was very friendly and greeted us right away. We were sat right away, greeted by our server, and everything was great! Food, service, and overall experience was excellent! Carolyn was fantastic and did a great job!“
“Our first time here, we met Jessy who gave us the perfect amount of time to choose what we wanted out of a variety of snacks and drinks they have! They’re all fair priced and SOOO GOOD. I love getting the chamoy fruit lovers plate with hot Cheetos and it never fails my tastebuds. Two days after our first visit we went back, two days after that we came back again. So yes, we easily became obsessed and Jessy is our favorite! She deserves a bonus!! See y’all again!(maybe in two days ?)“
“Try this place! We drove 46 miles to get here because we love the chicken. Such great grilled chicken. Recommend eating inside so you can take advantage of the great free toppings such as fresh cut limes, pico de gallo, cabbage with jalapeños, pickled onions with a habanero for a little kick. The packaging is a bit strange, but traditional.“
“Family owned and operated restaurant bringing authentic Mexican food to New Braunfels. Everything on the menu is amazing, my favorite dish is whatever Oscar recommends. We visit weekly and enjoy every culinary experience. Recommend the Thursday evening cooking class.“
“It is great to have a really good restaurant take over the former Hannas after some less than stellar replacement restaurants. The food is fresh, flavorful, and delicious!! I've tried a number of items on the menu, all delicious!! The sopes and tortas are exceptional as well as the breakfast tacos. The two salsas, red and green are also very good!! Someone mentioned the chips were not home-made, however, they are fantastic!!! The service is quick and friendly. Hanna's was good, Los Dos Garcia's is Great!!!!!“
“Love this place. One of the few places where they do Al Pastor and barbacoa amazingly. And really enjoy their tortillas and breakfast tacos. We lost our Stigma Taco place and was able to replace it with this great establishment. And if unsure with about a Mexican restaurant, you can always tell a place is good, when you can tell they even put care into the salsa. Which by the way love all the salsa’s they provide.“
“I love this place. I've been eating here for 10 years and it's always been affordable with generous servings. The staff is very sweet and are always happy to see me. They keep the place very very clean which in my opinion says a lot about the rest of the operation. Best things to order are the Fajitas and the Big Quesadilla. The chips and salsa are also on point, just the right amount of spice and kick. Not watered down at all. This is a legit tex mex joint that I recommend to everyone. A NB treasure :)“
“I’ve been to this place about 2 times now with my colleague for lunch. This place is seriously underrated! I’ve had their gorditas and carne asada quesadilla. Both dishes were awesome! It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for their quality and customer service. You can tell they love to serve their customers and their food always reminds me of my family’s hometown (Piedras Negras). Highly recommend everyone to swing by.“
“I use to go to Yolis on my way into town, however I always felt that my business was not wanted or appreciated. So I checked out this place one day and was greeted graciously at the counter and was able to place an order over the phone without feeling I was taking away from their time. Another plus is the food is way better and I’m not just saying this because of my bad experience. I highly recommend ?“
“**Excellent Dining Experience at los chillaquilesI recently had the pleasure of dining at los chillaquiles, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was inviting, the service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delicious! One dish that stood out to me was the Brilliant Quesadillas. They were perfectly cooked with a generous filling of flavorful ingredients, and the presentation was top-notch. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness, leaving me craving for more.Overall, I highly recommend los chillaquiles to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to go back and try more of their exquisite dishes!“
“My daughter and my husband and me came in to meet family that we haven't seen in a while and they recommended this place and low and behold my two-year-old would not stop screaming but the owners and waiter were nice and thoughtful.. bringing her a pancake and trying to entertain her while she screamed and threw a fit in their restaurant ...I thought it was very nice and very thoughtful of them and I would come back here a million times because of the atmosphere alone ..and the food is excellent!“
“Los Fontana's offers a great dining experience with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Their Queso Flameado is a standout dish, offering a rich and flavorful taste that's perfect for cheese lovers. The Slow River Margarita is also a must-try – it's well-balanced and refreshingly unique. The service at Los Fontana's is attentive and efficient, making it an ideal spot for a casual meal out. Overall, it's a place I'd happily recommend for its good food and pleasant vibe.“
“The atmosphere is comparable to eating at eating Grandma's house! The food is ? on point! I would have to say they serve high-quality, authentic Mexican food in the area! The Birria tacos is the best dish, in my opinion! You won't be disappointed!“
“My family recently moved to Seguin and were in search of a good breakfast taco for those rushed, on-the-go days. We looked up reviews for the area and found one within a few minutes of our new home. My daughter and I drove there and found there were no vehicles outside. I don't trust an empty parking lot, lol. Kept driving and saw a few more empty parking lots. Then we came upon a place that had a line at their drive-thru that went around to the side street. I don't mind waiting for good food so we got in line.Mind you, we were about 6th or 7th in line - so we knew they had great customer service when a young lady ran over to our car to take our order. As we'd never been there before we didn't immediately know what we wanted and asked for her recommendations. She said she liked everything but that their most popular tacos were the Carne Guisada w/Potato and the Bacon/Bean/Potato/Cheese tacos. Sold! She then ran to the cars behind us, taking their orders as well, and then ran back inside.Got to the window to pay and before we could ask were advised that we had 2 different kinds of salsa, salt, pepper and napkins and did we need anything else (?) as we were handed our bag. Nope! Nothing else needed! We ate those delicious breakfast tacos and argued over whether they were delicious because the tortilla was amazing (my stance!), or because every component of the filling was excellently seasoned (my daughter's stance!). It's a win-win regardless. We've lived in Seguin 2 weeks and have visited three times already. Just don't try to go on a Sunday...they're closed. Happy eating!“
“Had seen this place off the Highway for years, finally stopped in and I’m sorry we didn’t earlier! Great atmosphere with a great mix of dinner music. We got outstanding service from Audrey. Just right amount of attention but not too much to interrupt eating & conversation. The entire staff was friendly and prompt. Explained the menu just right. Chips and salsa were outstanding. Flaky chips salted just right and a hot (temperature) chipotle smokey salsa with just right amount of spice. Had the waygu beef & chicken fajitas. The beef was marinated so well, tender and perfectly cooked. Flour & white corn tortillas- both pillowy soft. It came with Ancho butter. This stuff is amazing. Very clean place including the rest rooms. Overall a great place. Prices are a little higher than the typical, but the food is better, so I don’t mind that. Been to so many Mexican restaurants in San Antonio over the last decade, this one is one of the top level ones. We’ll be back! They are doing things right.“
“Wife and I were attending an event in Kingsbury and were looking for a place to eat in the area. Drove to Seguin about 8 miles away based on restaurant review. Place is relatively small, but clearly popular with the locals as most of the tables were occupied. We sat at a small table for two on the side. Service was prompt and friendly and order arrived quickly. Prices reasonable. Nice presentation, portion, and flavor. Place not fancy, but a good choice if in the area. Definitely does not feel like a chain restaurant, but I view that as a plus.“
“I'm blown away by this place! Authentic vibe, delicious food, and friendly staff. I absolutely love food, Mexican breakfast tacos especially, and this is the best place I've been to, not just in New Braunfels but ever in my life. Get you a migas taco (or two)! I haven't even left yet but had to take a minute to share my review. Well done, I will definitely be back!“
“We visited Lupe’s tortilla this evening for a late dinner and we’re not disappointed! We chose to get a small chips and queso with salsa for an appetizer , the fajita trio for 2 and add bacon wrapped shrimp! All was delicious! The flavor was great! The atmosphere was amazing, the seating was so spacious! It was nice to not be able to extend my hand and touch another table or hear other peoples conversations! We had a few margaritas, blue one was a little strong for me but still good! Price wasn’t bad either $118 and change before tip for all that food along with the amazing service! Definitely will be back!!“
“A friend told me about this great restaurant. I decided to give it a try today, I wanted migas for lunch. It was the best migas that I have ever had. Homemade tortillas, hot salsa and tasty migas.I will be back, I'm looking forward to them now.Do yourself a favor and stop by, you will not be disappointed!“
“This place is the best, their menudo is the best I’ve ever tasted no joke so consistent in quality and taste every time I order it, their breakfast tacos again consistent in flavor and quality every time we come here, I’m so happy we found our perfect little gem and the ppl that work their are so polite and sweet.“
“Was out there recently visiting a friend to say country setting is an understatement but the people at the restaurant were very very nice very pleasant and the food was pretty okay I didn't care too much for the Barbacoa call but the quesadillas and the El pastor was good and their tea is pretty awesome “
“Thought I would give this place a shot, and it was great!!! If your one 78 driving thru Marion you have to give this one a shot. Tea was cold and very fresh. Had the classic tacos and enchiladas and they were greatWill definitely go out of my way to eat there again!!“
“*Good, simple, solid Mexican food.*Tasty hot sauces*Very good mini tacos (Mon. Lunch special)*Very good rice & charro beans*real deal chips*Friendly, fast serviceThat’s everything I want for a good lunch. No pictures. I ate it all and forgot to snap a few pre-meal. Was hungry and ready to eat.“
“I support Lupe's Tacos to go, because she is my cousin and she makes the best food ever, l will always support my Family no matter what...if anyone has ever eaten there they now what I'm talking about. I love you cousin breakfast was very good...love you from Joey and Lisa God Bless you ?❤️“
“The place is a must try for all foodies. Excellent service and experience. The sauces are fresh, flavorful, and a medium heat/spice on the palate. The food is fresh, hot, delicious, and priced to bring the heat. When I say heat, I mean this place should be hopping, popping, and moving. If you don't try them just once, you will miss out on the hand-made corn, flour tortillas. Aguas frescas at the counter simply forces you to temptation. Thank you Celaya's for feeding my lusting appetite. I shall return with my people to enjoy your amazing food!“
“(Translated by Google) The best tacos in New Braunfels Without a doubt I ordered carne asada pedi and some pastor nachos and they are super delicious!(Original)Los mejores tacos de New Braunfels sin Duda alguna pedi de carne asada y unos nachos de pastor y están súper deliciosos!“
“Hands down, their asada w/ onions, cilantro, sour cream & cheese only!! OMG~ the service, the wait time, phenomenal...But those tacos had me thinkin', hmmmmm:/Mine tacos are good, but 725s asada tacos were like nirvana. Highly highly recommended!!“
“I have eaten here numerous times, but have never left a review until now. This much underrated restaurant must be given its due respect. I have never been disappointed at any given visit. Their food is on par with some of the best tex Mex food places out there. Their mini (street) tacos are delicious. My wife loves their pastor tacos. If you are craving good Mexican food, you must stop by and give them a try.“
“Doesn't feel warm and inviting when your not greeted and have to seat yourself.Server came quickly to take order.Food came hot and fast!Eggs were good & not runny and the plate was not salty. Kudos to the kitchen!!My ketchup never came.Server never came back to check on us.Time to pay, several servers around to cash us out, however, no one did. We stood there awhile.Again, not a welcoming/caring feeling or even ask "how was everything?" Nope. The hours need to be updated on menu. I had no idea you were open til 9pMy suggestion would be, interact with us, say Hello!!Or Good Morning! We will be right with you, if you see me at the counter!Thank your customer for coming and supporting you.Parking: Good size lot“
“Wooowwwzzasss. Y'all this taco place is AHMAZING. I ordered around 12 tacos I think, they were hella quick at 6 am, I only say this because there were a lot of reviews about them taking awhile but I got them in less then about 10 min and I'd say that's more than reasonable for the amount I got. The prices were also extremely reasonable because the food is way more than worth it. The lady at the drive through separated them for me and was she was also sooooo nice. Those hole in the walls hit different when they're homemade and comforting.“
“We were looking for a place that is open for breakfast really early. This place opens at 4 am. The food was good and the coffee was hot. The price was what it should be. We noticed alot of people getting breakfast tacos to go, which I will have to try.“
“We needed something to eat this morning and so we did a google search and this placed popped up. So the 4 of us agreed on breakfast so we made the drive from the hotel to here. I have to say that it is well worth it to come here for breakfast! The food was delicious, hot and fresh. We all agreed that we will definitely eat here again!“
“We eat here often not only for the convenience, but the quality of the food and service are both worth mentioning over convenience. I would drive farther to get this food if I had to. Enough said. I'm sitting outside now waiting for my buzzer to go off to pick up our dinner. The melon agua fresca is my wife's IV these days.“
