“I highly recommend Ichiban. The food is fresh and delicious. I recently enjoyed Hibachi shrimp, fried rice, broccoli and a spring roll. Very few restaurants know how to cook fresh broccoli. It's often over-steamed and has the consistency of baby food, but the broccoli at Ichiban was very fresh, crisp tender and delicious. We will return soon.“

“Went here because we wanted some soup and noodles, and we were not disappointed. We ordered dumplings for a "starter" and they were delicious, pork was the meat. Pork fried rice, noodles and beef, and a beef with broccoli. The meals came out piping hot, which is fantastic in my book. They all were seasoned well and tasted very good. Our youngest had the pork noodle soup and it was enjoyed. We will go back when in the area again.“

I tried the sweet and sour and hubby had the orange chicken. They have an option to substitute lo mein for the rice so we decided to do that. Everything was delicious. “Visited on 12/14/24 (6ish pm) on Huebner and the manager on staff was very helpful. She informed me about the rewards program and encouraged me to sign up as you received a free entree! It worked out great because I intended to also order takeout! The manager ensured the food was cooked well and out in a timely manner. I ordered spring rolls and she sent them back because they were over cooked. They ran out of spring rolls and she informed me of the mishap. She provided me a substitution. Really great service and food! I wish I didn’t lose the business card, I want that manager to get the recognition she deserves. Thanks for making my experience a delightful one ☺️“

My card was compromised at 5am Sunday and although I opted to wait until Monday morning to deal with it, the bank put a hold on my account, rightfully so. They were so patient as I dealt with trying to transfer funds to another account and even started on my order so when it would be ready by the time I completed payment. By the time I made payment, food was packed and hot! We were so hungry, we decided to eat it there. We had no problem eating it in our to go boxes, but they insisted on putting it on plates. “I love a good hole in the wall. We visited after reading the reviews when we were really craving noodles. Ito did not disappoint. It’s a no frills restaurant. Pretty small place, maybe 5 tables. You order at the counter when you walk in and then find a seat. The night I dined in, there was only one employee working, and she smoothly handled taking the orders, preparing the food, and bussing the tables. It was impressive. The food itself was excellent. My only knock on the place and maybe this isn’t always the case - it was sooo stuffy in there. Very warm. Very stuffy. Even with a fan on. Maybe having a window open would help? I don’t know. It wasn’t super comfortable.“

“Amazing foo! I had the creamy noods with pastor and it was an absolute beast of a soup! I love trying ramen from all over San Antonio and it’s definitely top 3! My boyfriend had the Thai noodles and the hot spicy level was a perfect amount of heat! Their egg rolls are crunchy while still holding a nice moisture inside with the chicken! I can wait to go back and try the wonton nachos!!! ???
