The scramble eggs was super fluffy & generously thick inside the very tasty beignet bun. But best of all, the owners & staff were very, very friendly & gave great customer service. “My parents and I went for our 1st time yesterday, on my bday. It was pack and people were rushing in. I informed the lady I'll be ordering 4 plates. 3 meals 1 dessert. place my order, sat down waited an hour for food. finally arrived informed lady just missing 1 more plate... mine. she said ok and walked away. after waiting for another 30 min. no one ever came back. I asked about my plate cause I knew they were busy and didn't want to be impatient. when I asked cashier about my plate, turns out she never even charged my order. so they just looked at me like a deer in head lights and apologized they didn't know how to compensate. They were too busy to do my order so just compt my tip. i left hungry and bummed out so maybe it'll be to iron out unsatisfied customers after mishap so they're not leaving a Lil negative remarks.“

Fresh Donuts is this nondescript little donut shop —and they are my favourite business in San Antonio.
This place isn't stylish; there's no "decor". But it is always immaculately clean; nothing out of place, everything tidy and orderly.
This isn't hipster donuts, where you're paying $5 for a "lavender mint cruller with salted caramel glaze"; they serve normal, traditional donuts here. But they are always fresh, always delicious, and always consistent: the donuts look like they could be photographed for an ad: perfectly shaped, uniform coverage of the icing, shiny glazes...

My favourite is the glazed blueberry cake donut, and I always add a chocolate ring with sprinkles, and the cost for TWO donuts is $2.70 including tax!

“Placed a to-go order in the store at 10:29. Hadn’t heard anything by 10:45 so I asked a kitchen clerk who literally never changed his gloves even after wiping his forehead. He told me my order wasn’t ready, at 11:01 I asked for a full refund since the food had taken forever and still no word. I wasn’t offered a refund, or even an apology for making me wait while the food got cold. Mildly understandable if the order was huge, but my girlfriend and I shared a biscuit and hash bowl. As a manager of a retail business, the service was just disappointing. Too many employees to keep customers waiting that long.“

“We go for a family breakfast to catch up on the week. The last time we went, the waitress informed us that they were understaffed due to call ins. There was a delay in our ordering and orders being brought out. I believe they were trying to contact people to come in, in between waiting on tables. After some time, I did observe "coverage crew" showing up. The way I see it, they were doing what they could with what they had at the time we showed up.“

This restaurant was filled with customers which evidences the great quality of food, service, and ambience. Unlike some IHOP places, the sampler breakfast I had was super fresh. Restaurant staff was amazing. There were lots of wait staff which clearly shows how busy this particular restaurant is. All staff seemed super excited and vibrant and service to tables was relatively quick and efficient. Ambiance was peaceful but lively at the same time. Guests seemed content and comfortable. Will recommend this IHOP to anyone in a heartbeat. Kudos to the management and ownership for making me feel I'm in a real IHOP once again!“

“We lucked out and it was empty when we went in, we do try to go in between rushes, so service was very quick. The waiter was very friendly and prompt. He got everything right with no issues at all. All the food was cooked just the way we asked. The whole restaurant was very clean. Although the women's room was completely out of TP for some reason. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to go to this IHOP when in the area again.“

“The Lady & I chose breakfast for dinner.
Dhevopted for the build your own omelet. It comes with a side. She chose pancakes, which were 3. She added a side of hashbrowns as well. She enjoyed all.

I opted for the poblano omelet. It comes with beef (like you get on a Philly), poblano peppers, and onion. It is a bit spicy, which I like. I got the pancakes as my side and added a side of hashbrowns. The psnckskes are not too heavy. The hasbrwnscare like typical frozen variety.

The waiter was friendly and very efficient

The restaurant was exceptionally clean. If fact, it was amazingly clean.

I gave it a 4 only.because to me, when you compare IHOP to Denny's, Denny's is slightly cheaper on comparable items, and Denny's has many more offerings on its menu.

Vegetarian options: This restaurant is open 22 hours a day. Theynclose frm 4am-6am. Why? Who knows. Maybe to do some bookkeeping, such as documentation of the days sales.

I can’t even tell you how much we loved the food. The biscuit with cinnamon and sugar was perfect, it had a frosting on it that was perfect, and it came with eggs that were cooked so perfectly. Sam was our waitress Saturday night and we loved her, she was so attentive and sweet. We watched all the employees and noticed how happy everyone seemed to be to work here. “Food was mediocre, exactly what to expect from IHOP, and not in a bad way, but the price was aaaokayy, we were a party of 3 and we each had a different breakfast and with coffee and the tip we each paid approximately $10 so it was reasonable, I would just recommend to give the waiting and dining area a major scrub down from the cooling vents to the corner of the carpet, so this is why there’s a 4 star rating from me!-“
