The scramble eggs was super fluffy & generously thick inside the very tasty beignet bun. But best of all, the owners & staff were very, very friendly & gave great customer service. Definitely coming back for more beignet 😋“

“Omg. 😳 finally tried this new brunch cafe that took over the Martha's Mexican restaurant recently. At Babcock and Huebner. I ordered the dirty south which is biscuit homemade with sausage cooked egg topped with cheese and gravy and bacon and sausage. Plus included potatoes. It was so delicious and large portions. I could only eat a quarter of it. Then had to get the homemade coffee crumb cake. Omg! Also delicious and a big portion. Definitely will be back. Loved 🥰 the food. How friendly they were even for an online order. Top notch service and high quality. If in the area check them out. Wednesday to Sunday from 8am to 2pm.“

“My parents and I went for our 1st time yesterday, on my bday. It was pack and people were rushing in. I informed the lady I'll be ordering 4 plates. 3 meals 1 dessert. place my order, sat down waited an hour for food. finally arrived informed lady just missing 1 more plate... mine. she said ok and walked away. after waiting for another 30 min. no one ever came back. I asked about my plate cause I knew they were busy and didn't want to be impatient. when I asked cashier about my plate, turns out she never even charged my order. so they just looked at me like a deer in head lights and apologized they didn't know how to compensate. They were too busy to do my order so just compt my tip. i left hungry and bummed out so maybe it'll be to iron out unsatisfied customers after mishap so they're not leaving a Lil negative remarks.“

They typically dont have water rushing out of the eggs but these did, made the toast mushy but it was edible. My girls sweet potato breakfast plate was good, could gave been 2 eggs instead of one. Her spicy syrup was great. They put unique twists on their food. Wait staff attentive and friendly. My sangria was great.
Second visit comments. The pancake flight was excellent, very tasty. My partner and I had the Garden Omelettes and added ham and cheese, very tasty. The hash brown was very tasty as well. All of this was obviously fresh. Only small negative was fruit dish was too ripe. We will definitely be making this a regular place to visit.“

“Stopped by Maple Street Biscuit Company in San Antonio and tried the chicken and waffles—easily one of the best I’ve had. The chicken was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of spice, and the waffles were soft, slightly sweet, and paired perfectly with the syrup.

The service was friendly, the vibe was chill, and everything came out fresh and fast. I also really appreciated that they offer a military discount—definitely a nice touch and shows they care about the community.

“We were seated pretty quickly. We had the elevated egg sandwich and the maple bacon croissant. Sandwiches were delicious. Coffee and mint mocha were also good potatoes we a little undercooked for my taste and service was a little slow - we waited a good 10 minutes for some water. But overall not a bad experience.“

Fresh Donuts is this nondescript little donut shop —and they are my favourite business in San Antonio.
This place isn't stylish; there's no "decor". But it is always immaculately clean; nothing out of place, everything tidy and orderly.
This isn't hipster donuts, where you're paying $5 for a "lavender mint cruller with salted caramel glaze"; they serve normal, traditional donuts here. But they are always fresh, always delicious, and always consistent: the donuts look like they could be photographed for an ad: perfectly shaped, uniform coverage of the icing, shiny glazes...

My favourite is the glazed blueberry cake donut, and I always add a chocolate ring with sprinkles, and the cost for TWO donuts is $2.70 including tax!

Of course we chose to eat here on the last day of our stay, I wish we tried it the first day and we would have just ate here every single day we were in San Antonio. “We visited the city this labor day weekend from El Paso, Texas. First time in the city, we ate twice at this IHop. Let me tell you that this restaurant is amazing. Although, it is a super busy location our big group was sat in less than 25 minutes. Our food came fast too! The servers, were very friendly and helpful. “Walked in and sat down, then a approached by a woman at the front desk. She wanted us to follow her to reseat us, however we refused. Why? She saw us when.we came in and never acknowledged us. So we continued to wait where we were. Our waiter came and he was AWESOME, I told him.what happened and he apologized. Then.he did an.awesome job, waiting on us just sweet and friendly I believe his name was GIO. Beautiful young man very respectful and he went above and beyond his GM (don't know her name) also Hispanic and very nice and accommodating very, very kind as well. We used to go to the one on.San Pedro, they had the worse staff. Anyway the moral of the story is be nice and kind to everyone no matter thier race. You just never know who that person is.
