Tried Laguna Madre on the recommendation of a friend local to San Antonio (of which I am not) and I really enjoyed my experience. The cod tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The fries, along with the mac and cheese was also delicious. Loved the decorations inside the restaurant too. Staff was great too!
Never been to one of these before. Asked for a recommendation from the cashier (Ayden?). Young man behind the counter suggested his favorite which was "Mexican Style", so that's what I ordered. Took a little time to come out, only because they were cooking it fresh. Came out piping hot and tasty. Ok, the food and service were great. Customers order at the counter, and the line winds through the tables where folks are eating. Y'all are a Bill Miller outfit. Put up the rails/chains to keep the line away from the tables.
