“Out of all the listings in San Antonio I would strongly suggest this location to any outsiders. The staff is very welcoming and Judith is so loving it feels like she towers over you. This is our second home away from home and the only reason we diet, so we can have a cheat day here. It is well worth the 6 days of work for this 1 day of enjoyment. Please feel free to have Francisco drop some of the chicken that is so famous for. You won’t hate that he did.“
“Initially went to the bill millers down the street on my lunch break and the food was cold so I ended up at this Popeyes in hopes I’d still have time to enjoy a meal before having to go back to work. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by Roxanne who I found out was the manager shortly after, took my order quickly and the food was nice and hot. Needless to say, if you’re ever in the area and need hot food and quick service this is the place!!“
“I got the 3-piece Chicken Deal for $5; limited time offer. Spicy chicken as always; leg, wing & thigh. Choosing a breast as part of the 3-piece makes the deal more expensive. I also got a Classic Wrap for $3.99; tender with mayo, lettuce & no pickle. Don't like pickles. Finally, a root beer. Asked for Small, got Regular; $0.20 more.
Wrap was good. Chicken nice & spicy, but breaded a little heavy; 1 piece broke off of thigh, just fried skin.“

“Despite the slow drive-thru, my visit to JBSA FSH Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen was good! The eight pieces signature chicken family meal was a hit – the chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the side of fries that come with it were just as delicious. I couldn't resist trying their apple pies, and they did not disappoint! Additionally, the drive-thru attendant was incredibly friendly and made the wait more enjoyable. With public parking available, it's a convenient option for a tasty meal.“
“This was my first visit in a while. It was such a change. I went through drive thru. The customer service was outstanding! So glad I went through again. The young man was so polite and considerate. I will now as it back in my list of places to pick up a meal when I work late. Thank you.“
“The chicken was hot and crispy when I got it. The service we got was excellent. I came from a place that didn't have Popeyes and I never realized how much better their chicken is than KFC. Only thing missing was butter for the biscuits.“
“It's definitely chilly inside, but the food is great and the service is friendly. The Ghost Pepper Mayonnaise is Definitely a spice to remember. If you like a milder spice, the Signature Hot is a little sweet. Aks for Erica, she will take care of you“

“I love the Popeyes at this location. Everything about this place is amazing. Even though there’s a wait for most things this is the busiest Popeyes that I know of. All the workers do the best that they can working in food service knowing it’s a demanding job. Overall this is best place to get fried chicken in the area.“

“I am a mother with an autistic child who only eats Popeyes every day. Dorothy is always kind, helpful and gives fast service because I need to make it to my child’s appointments. I only come to this Popeyes because they never get my order wrong. My son cannot eat spicy chicken, and Dorothy always double checks to make sure it’s classic mild. It is very important to me because if the order is spicy my son won’t eat. I appreciate all they do to make sure our order is correct.“
“I'm from New Orleans, and I've been to almost every popeye's. In this city and this is definitely the best one that I've been to. So far, the chicken was cooked, perfect. The guy at the drive-through was extremely polite, did not have an attitude, and my order was ready very quickly, and I hate to say it. “First time at this location. Went in to place order to go and view the menu. The person behind the counter with the Mickey mouse hair style was busy making a order to go! I asked about the the combo difference? Instead of turning around to talk me,kept working on the order and could not hear the answer! After asking a second time, turned half way to answer my question! No one was in the dining room, just me placing an order! Not good customer service! The drive thru might have been busy, but do not ignore your customers at the counter !“
“This Popeyes must be Under New Management because it's gotten a whole lot better than it was a year ago. All the food comes out correct they're never out of anything anymore, and the restaurant is a whole lot cleaner than it used to be. The new staff is a whole lot more friendly and helpful than the old staff“

It was picked up by an alert employee and as soon as I returned for it, they recognized me and returned it to me. I was so grateful and thankful for their honesty. “I had the best catering experience with Popeyes. Steve, Angel and Nicole helped ensure the catered luncheon for SAPD was fresh and correct. I did not have to wait on my order at all! As soon as I got there the staff was more than willing to double check the order and assist me with loading up my car. Will definitely be thinking of Popeyes for my next catering event!“
