“The store was short-handed due to an employee calling in sick, but the manager on duty was doing her best to handle both the drive-through and the lobby. She was really hustling! I have managed a store in the past, and I know it is NOT easy to keep up with customer orders when understaffed. I appreciated her pleasant and positive attitude as she worked to get the orders out in a timely manner.“
“If you want the best fried chicken, this is the place to go. They open at 10 am be there early and you will receive fresh, hot ? and the best customer service. They keep inside and out clean and secure. I recommend the family meals so that you will have plenty of left overs.“

“It's definitely chilly inside, but the food is great and the service is friendly. The Ghost Pepper Mayonnaise is Definitely a spice to remember. If you like a milder spice, the Signature Hot is a little sweet. Aks for Erica, she will take care of you“

“Despite the slow drive-thru, my visit to JBSA FSH Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen was good! The eight pieces signature chicken family meal was a hit – the chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the side of fries that come with it were just as delicious. I couldn't resist trying their apple pies, and they did not disappoint! Additionally, the drive-thru attendant was incredibly friendly and made the wait more enjoyable. With public parking available, it's a convenient option for a tasty meal.“
“Service was great, the food tasted good, the only issue was the lobby was filthy. We couldn't find one clean table to sit at. So we cleaned a table and dumped somebodies trash so we could have a clean table. Other then that this location was good.“
“Stopped by to grab some chicke Sandwiches. They were delicious as always. Had to wait a bit at the drive thru for someone to answer... but when the lady realized I had been waiting for so long she was so apologetic that it made up for it.“

“I love the Popeyes at this location. Everything about this place is amazing. Even though there’s a wait for most things this is the busiest Popeyes that I know of. All the workers do the best that they can working in food service knowing it’s a demanding job. Overall this is best place to get fried chicken in the area.“
“The chicken was hot and crispy when I got it. The service we got was excellent. I came from a place that didn't have Popeyes and I never realized how much better their chicken is than KFC. Only thing missing was butter for the biscuits.“
“The spicy chick this time wasn't spicy. I'm guessing they changed the spice profile or maybe I got regular chicken. It was seasoned and juicy just not SPICY at all. In all 8 pieces. “I didn’t know Popeyes plays music. None of them play it further north but when I pulled up to this one they had the music jumping and the people are so pleasant. Willing to help and even updated me on why the wait was long. Idk what you guys are doing at this location but it’s BETTER BEST BESTEST than other Popeyes. My food was piping hot. It was EXACTLY what I order cooked fresh and that’s the last 4 times I’ve been. I even eat the little crispies crumbs at the bottom of the plate bc it was so good. Perfect. Shout out to yal. Whole store needs a Christmas bonus! $500+ per person bc this team was amazing and they deserve every dollar plus more for AMAZING service.“
“The food was super fresh!!! When we tore our chicken, it was steaming!! Beans & rice was hot. Food was probably the freshest that i have had from a popeyes. The reason for the 3 stars for the atmosphere is because we ate at the restaurant & we could hear them behind the counter cussing loudly. Something about professionalism.“

“First time at this location. Went in to place order to go and view the menu. The person behind the counter with the Mickey mouse hair style was busy making a order to go! I asked about the the combo difference? Instead of turning around to talk me,kept working on the order and could not hear the answer! After asking a second time, turned half way to answer my question! No one was in the dining room, just me placing an order! Not good customer service! The drive thru might have been busy, but do not ignore your customers at the counter !“
“Placed order online was in line for 20 mins after letting them know I had an online order. Once I get up there he reads me another order, I tell him no I had an online order, but told him if I have to wait longer forget it. Gave me my order no apology for having to wait 20 mins in line. The whole process for them was moving and working SLOW.“

I leave in Killeen, and we have a view of Popeyes in our area, we will go there and hope it is as good as this one, and thank you for your service.“
“Being from New Orleans; this Popeyes was the best I had in the city of San Antonio. The food was fresh and hot. I can’t remember the guy name at the register but he had great customer service skills. I think he said that he actually works at the Popeyes off Rittiman.“
“I had the best catering experience with Popeyes. Steve, Angel and Nicole helped ensure the catered luncheon for SAPD was fresh and correct. I did not have to wait on my order at all! As soon as I got there the staff was more than willing to double check the order and assist me with loading up my car. Will definitely be thinking of Popeyes for my next catering event!“
“We’re here on Friday pretty late, close to midnight. Everyone was very nice. Mr. Carlos was helpful and attentive. We felt welcomed. He made sure we had everything we needed. He really did well and beyond with customer service. The restaurant was also clean and tidy. Thank you for the nice experience!“
“To start, I’d like to say that the people at this location (especially night shift) are really nice people. I come here at LEAST 3-4 times a week for the past couple of months due to the Blackened Tenders fitting within the diet I’m currently on. I am obsessed to say the least. It’s really nice to be able to eat something at a fast food establishment and continue to lose the pounds. I have always been more than just a little bit “extra” when it comes to ordering food, and these people accommodate my requests within reason every single time. At this point they know exactly what I’m going to ask for when I come in- I am so happy with their service!
Now to the downside. The ONLY reason I didn’t give 5 stars, is that the AC at this location has been out since I started coming, and from other reviews it looks like this has been a problem long before my attendance. I usually make it here by just after dark, and it is still boiling hot inside the establishment. When I’m here during the day, well you can imagine how terrible it is. The workers are sweating, even with the doors open and fans on. You can see on their faces that they are miserable, but they are still there and working which goes to show in this economy, what people are willing to put up with just to survive. The city has already given the owners notice that the AC needs to be fixed, but I’m not sure if anything is being done.
I’d like to conclude this with just saying that I spend no less than 100 dollars a week minimum at this place, and I would be very saddened to see it be closed just because of an HVAC issue. These workers deserve better! I hope the right people see this review and decide to do something about it, because I really would like to continue giving them my service if things are resolved. I have attached a picture of a group of people that ordered their food last night, and had to actually go OUTSIDE to stay cooler just to be able to eat here. I’m sure that sales would increase if this establishment was meeting the standards of what is necessary in other places and most of all, Texas; which is working AC!!!
Dietary restrictions: The 5 piece blackened tenders, with either the blackened ranch or a side of mashed potatoes and a Diet Coke (whichever you prefer, I’d rather have sauce for tenders than a side) is about 500 calories or just over. Which is perfect if you’re eating in a deficit, depending on yours!“
“It had been a while and Fried Chicken was in order. The parking lot was full and drive through was working to get our order ready. Mac and cheese was delayed so they offered extra of another side. The 12 piece chicken meal was well cooked. A good option and fresh if your up for the wait.“

“Wrong orders happen far too often in fast food but people like Jonathan who make it right without any hesitation are how you keep customers coming back. Seemingly short staffed and very busy, he handled our remake with respect and keeps Popeyes as one of my favorite places to go. I rarely leave reviews but Jonathan's efforts definitely warranted it.“
