“Hadn't been to any Sonic in a while due to bad experiences. Decided to give this one a shot after a random hankering at 10 PM.

Staff was solid, got my order correct, friendly, etc. Food came out warm and in a reasonable amount of time. Best experience I've had at a Sonic in ten years.“

“Autumn did a fantastic job! I was trying to tip when paying with card and the screens aren’t touch screen so it defaults to no tip every time, which is very inconvenient if you don’t carry cash. This would be a lesser review if it wasn’t for Autumns superb attention to detail.“

“We live in San Antonio texas, and when we want sonic we drive a little further to come to store 2981 because our food is always great and the people there are always super friendly, we had stopped eating sonic because of some not so great experiences at other locations, but this store has regained our confidence

Best Sonic I've ever been to!! Super fast service. We ordered once for drinks and wraps and they came out within 2 minutes. Ordered a second time lg chili cheese tots, mozz sticks and sundae because we’re greedy lol! I kid you not it came out in 3 minutes. Super fast hot and fresh and staff were really nice. “Reading all of these reviews have me surprised due to my experience being way different. I’m not a big fan of sonic because the service is never good, but my hubby insisted we got sonic. This sonic does not compare to the rest, service was quick, the food was fresh, and I actually enjoyed my meal.“

“One of the more dependable Sonics. They have a good consistency on how the shakes and slushes and food are made. Nothing worse than ordering a shake and it's like water or barely any Oreos in it, etc. This always gets it right. 👏🏼“

“I can't believe how much they've raised the prices here. I got a vanilla creme dr pepper during happy hour and they charged a dollar for vanilla and over a dollar for cream for a single drink. It used to be one of my favorite places but not for those prices anymore.
The car hop was great. She was kind and sweet.“

“Food is always taken out fast- granted when not all the stalls are filled- but even then all the workers are kind and very sweet about it. They always make sure to fix any corrections if need be and the food is always delicious!! I love the cheap snacks too“

“Went today right before 11am - I ordered multiple things (onion rings, corn dog, cheese sticks, chili cheese wrap). The guy who took my order in the stall speaker was super friendly which started the experience out really well. I still had to wait for the food (never been to this location) to see how that would be and I do have to say that every single thing was fresh and cooked perfectly. There was nothing that was burnt or overcooked. I got a chili cheese wrap from a different sonic yesterday that was pathetic, there literally is no other word to describe it so I really wanted one today, this one was perfect. I normally don't leave fast food reviews but this is also more of a kudos to the guy who took my order over the speaker and to whoever cooked my food. Thank you :)“

“My husband and I stopped to grab a quick breakfast. Parked and placed our order. When I finished, the girl asked us to please pick up our order at the drive-thru. What?! Okay, no problem. When I drove up to the window, I noticed only one person. When the girl handed me my order, I asked if she was the only one here. She said she was! But she was smiling and so friendly, didn't act like it was too much for her. I felt awful for her, but she seriously didn't mind. This girl deserves a raise or at least a big bonus for manning the place all by herself! And with such a positive attitude.

“Walked over during lunch and the stall for walk up customers went out as Ms Gina was answering. She said one moment and came out to take my order personally. Despite being super busy and glitches all over, she kept her cool and got me my food ASAP. Gabrielle and one other manager are fantastic when I do go over as well!“

“I wish I would have got the name of the man working at tonight’s shift around 5:30. He came out because he couldn’t hear properly and wanted to get our order correct. Unfortunately that is not the standard and most places would rather get it wrong. Very refreshing to see someone go above and beyond for good service. He deserves a raise.“

“We usually go through the drive-thru but we decided to park. We ordered and received our food within a few minutes. When we ordered we asked for ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. The person that was taking our order was either confused why we asked for these items or they just weren't paying attention. The car hop came up to vehicle with no smile or greeting. She gave the bags and drinks as fast as she could. We asked where the condiments were? She brought everything but ketchup. She went back in got it and we asked her for napkins. She looked so annoyed with us more than ever. Well if you check what was suppose to go into the bag in the first place we wouldn't have to ask for anything. The food was nice, hot, and delicious.“

“Just left the restaurant and I wanted to write this review to recognize this one specific young lady that has helped me a few times by now, she’s a carhop that usually has a chocker necklace. “This location has always had staffing issues, but the food is good (ex. Showed up in the Drive-Thru 20 minutes after their Sunday opening time and I think the staff member was in the back late, still getting the place opened up and wasn't ready to take an order so we had to wait 15 minutes but then got a fresh hot super breakfast burrito). Also feel bad because the atmosphere is degraded to 3* because of the homeless up and down Austin hwy, no fault of their own, so I'll round this up to a 4.“

“I normally would not leave a review for a fast food restaurant but this Sonic is an exception. I work down the street so I am in the area often. I am usually not a fan of Sonic except for an occasional half price drink or ice cream cone. On atleast 6 occasions over the last year I have stopped by on my way home or to work and EVERY single time my food was hot, fresh and made to order. From the burger to the chili cheese tator tots. The staff has always been super pleasurable with positive attitudes.It is literally the ONLY sonic I will ever eat at. They also has indoor seating, something I have never seen at a Sonic“

“Usually this place is terrible but tonight was different. Food was hot and fresh, drinks were on point. My ONLY complaint is that the cashier asked if we wanted our change back because it was just over 50 cents. I don't think it is good customer service to assume a customer doesn't want their change or even ask that, even if it's only a penny. Always assume the customer wants their change, if they don't want it, they will tell you.“

“This is my first visit to Sonic Drive-In in Blanco Texas and always check the reviews on any new restaurant. As one might expect, some reviews are quite positive and some not so much. I was on a motorcycle and didn't park in a space with a menu board and unaware where the walkup menu was located, so I pressed an open space order button and an extremely courteous carhop named Anita came to the patio and collected my order. The food was delicious and tipped Anita a much deserved 44%. Hopefully others will appreciate such great service and offer thanks and generous gratuity to our young people earning minimum wages.

“Overall alright was a bit of a wait but it wasnt anything to fuss over it was when the lady making the frozen drinks added whipped cream to the top which for the last several times I requested they not do,its even on the ticket to not add whip cream but is what it is I guess“

Had a small issue with my order. The Manager Sam was very professional and explained everything to me and took care of my order. Thank you Sam you made our day by taking care of the issue. We drive 12 minutes to this location because my wife love the slushy drinks. We have closer locations to us but have had very bad experiences at 2 other locations. So we travel a little further where we are treated well. We will be back to this location it’s our go to sonic from now on. Thx again Sam“
