“We live in San Antonio texas, and when we want sonic we drive a little further to come to store 2981 because our food is always great and the people there are always super friendly, we had stopped eating sonic because of some not so great experiences at other locations, but this store has regained our confidence

“Tonight my husband and I placed a mobile app order and among the things we ordered was an ultimate meat and cheese breakfast burrito. Unfortunately, we only double checked my husband's burger before leaving to make sure it was done correctly and didn't check my burrito until we got home. Which, thankfully we only live about 5 minutes away. Unfortunately, I received the wrong burrito and I called the store back to ask if I could go back to get the correct one and the girl on the phone was polite and apologized and said to go ahead and go back for the correct one. Not only did they have a hot and fresh correct burrito for me, but they also gave us a medium cherry limeade for the inconvenience. The young man that answered us in the drive through was also polite and provided great customer service. So, although we had a mishap with our order, the employees made it up to us and we'll of course be going back again because well everyone makes mistakes and we were obviously lazy tonight and didn't want to cook dinner. By the way, if you haven't tried it, the ultimate meat and cheese breakfast burrito was 10/10!
Side note: I'm 37 weeks pregnant and I indeed had a meltdown and cried when I saw I received the wrong burrito, but I took a few minutes to collect myself before calling and going back lol.“
“Very happy with this location. Decided to try here after the Stone Oak Prkwy location got my order wrong 5 times in a row (it's a slushy with 2 add ins, all 5 times it was being given the wrong slushy flavor or not including the add ins).
The service was fast, the person delivering my order was very friendly, and they got it right on the first time. Overall very pleased with my experience.“

“Food is always taken out fast- granted when not all the stalls are filled- but even then all the workers are kind and very sweet about it. They always make sure to fix any corrections if need be and the food is always delicious!! I love the cheap snacks too“
“Went today right before 11am - I ordered multiple things (onion rings, corn dog, cheese sticks, chili cheese wrap). The guy who took my order in the stall speaker was super friendly which started the experience out really well. I still had to wait for the food (never been to this location) to see how that would be and I do have to say that every single thing was fresh and cooked perfectly. There was nothing that was burnt or overcooked. I got a chili cheese wrap from a different sonic yesterday that was pathetic, there literally is no other word to describe it so I really wanted one today, this one was perfect. I normally don't leave fast food reviews but this is also more of a kudos to the guy who took my order over the speaker and to whoever cooked my food. Thank you :)“
“I wish I would have got the name of the man working at tonight’s shift around 5:30. He came out because he couldn’t hear properly and wanted to get our order correct. Unfortunately that is not the standard and most places would rather get it wrong. Very refreshing to see someone go above and beyond for good service. He deserves a raise.“
“My husband and I stopped to grab a quick breakfast. Parked and placed our order. When I finished, the girl asked us to please pick up our order at the drive-thru. What?! Okay, no problem. When I drove up to the window, I noticed only one person. When the girl handed me my order, I asked if she was the only one here. She said she was! But she was smiling and so friendly, didn't act like it was too much for her. I felt awful for her, but she seriously didn't mind. This girl deserves a raise or at least a big bonus for manning the place all by herself! And with such a positive attitude.

“Walked over during lunch and the stall for walk up customers went out as Ms Gina was answering. She said one moment and came out to take my order personally. Despite being super busy and glitches all over, she kept her cool and got me my food ASAP. Gabrielle and one other manager are fantastic when I do go over as well!“

“This location has always had staffing issues, but the food is good (ex. Showed up in the Drive-Thru 20 minutes after their Sunday opening time and I think the staff member was in the back late, still getting the place opened up and wasn't ready to take an order so we had to wait 15 minutes but then got a fresh hot super breakfast burrito). Also feel bad because the atmosphere is degraded to 3* because of the homeless up and down Austin hwy, no fault of their own, so I'll round this up to a 4.“
“We usually go through the drive-thru but we decided to park. We ordered and received our food within a few minutes. When we ordered we asked for ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. The person that was taking our order was either confused why we asked for these items or they just weren't paying attention. The car hop came up to vehicle with no smile or greeting. She gave the bags and drinks as fast as she could. We asked where the condiments were? She brought everything but ketchup. She went back in got it and we asked her for napkins. “I normally would not leave a review for a fast food restaurant but this Sonic is an exception. I work down the street so I am in the area often. I am usually not a fan of Sonic except for an occasional half price drink or ice cream cone. On atleast 6 occasions over the last year I have stopped by on my way home or to work and EVERY single time my food was hot, fresh and made to order. From the burger to the chili cheese tator tots. The staff has always been super pleasurable with positive attitudes.It is literally the ONLY sonic I will ever eat at. They also has indoor seating, something I have never seen at a Sonic“

“This Sonic Drive In I have taken out food many times. Because of snow & ice, Sonic was my third choice. Two other fast food restaurants had not opened for business. Thankful that Sonic was open. Only one person was available to work. He filled my order in minimum time. The two all beef hot dogs were plump & good. Sonic does a terrific job of packaging their takeout hotdogs. Both for less than $7.“

“I've been to this Sonic twice this week. It has greatly improved over the last year ( this is my 1st time back in probably a year ). The 1st order was a cheeseburger. Everything tasted fresh and came out hot. Service was good. Need updates on stalls as several out of order. The 2nd order was a breakfast burrito and coke. They have great fountain cokes, not alot of places do. The burrito was a good size, fresh and hot. Ill definitely be coming back again. Im so glad that they are working on improving their food quality and service.“

My ONLY complaint is that the cashier asked if we wanted our change back because it was just over 50 cents. I don't think it is good customer service to assume a customer doesn't want their change or even ask that, even if it's only a penny. Had a small issue with my order. The Manager Sam was very professional and explained everything to me and took care of my order. Thank you Sam you made our day by taking care of the issue. We drive 12 minutes to this location because my wife love the slushy drinks. We have closer locations to us but have had very bad experiences at 2 other locations. So we travel a little further where we are treated well. We will be back to this location it’s our go to sonic from now on. Thx again Sam“

They were busy, so when I ordered, i was politely greeted and informed that my order would be out as quick as possible, which I didn't mind because, like I said, they were busy. It was nice to be informed, though. After receiving my order, I found a note in my bag thanking me for being patient as well as a coupon for an ice cream cone.
