“Great wine spot! All the wines are made with flowers, not grapes. No added sugars, no headaches. Me and my friend walked past and Brian offered us a free tasting. All of the wines are so good! It was hard to choose which bottle we wanted to buy. We bought one bottle each and a cup of the frozen wine to go. They definitely are a hidden gem and it's such a shame that the construction on Houston is obscuring the view of their store front. They definitely should have more business. I recommend 10/10. Ask for Brian! He was so helpful and informative on the wines.“

We absolutely love The Cellars on 281! If you appreciate great wine, a beautiful atmosphere, and a place with real character, this is somewhere you need to visit.

The owners also own Winery on the Gruene, another place we love, and they have done an outstanding job with The Cellars. The moment you walk in, you can see the attention to detail. The decor is classy, elegant, and has that beautiful old-school charm that you just don’t find much anymore. Everything about this place makes you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy yourself.

What really sets The Cellars apart is their incredible selection of wines. They offer so many unique wines, especially their sweet wines, which are absolutely amazing! But what I really appreciate is that they also have a great selection of traditional dry wines. There is truly something for everyone, whether you enjoy a sweeter wine or prefer something more classic.

This isn’t just another winery or wine bar. It’s a place with personality, style, and an atmosphere that makes the entire experience special. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating something different.

The Cellars on 281 is definitely a hidden gem, and we are so glad we found it. If you love wine and appreciate a classy, old-school atmosphere, do yourself a favor and visit this place. You won’t be disappointed!
