Water 2 Wine Wineries • $$
185 S Seguin Ave, New Braunfels

“My absolute favorite Winery. I live in Port Arthur, Texas. Once a year, I come to the New Braunfels area so that I can purchase my 2 cases of wine, which will help to carry me till the following year. I love sweet wines, and they have the best selection to choose from. At the present time, I believe they have 11 different sweet wines to choose from, 2 of them, which are their reserve and a higher alcohol content. Now, not to leave anybody else out who doesn't like sweet wines. You have got to check them out or look at their website. They offer a semisweet selection as well as quite a few red and white wines that I tend to refer to as the dry side, but I am not a wine connoisseur. I just know what I like, lol. The last time I asked, they would deliver but in the cooler months. Can not deliver in the summer in Texas.“

Winery on the Gruene Wineries • $$
1308 Gruene Rd, New Braunfels

“Cute little place! It was my first wine tasting and I had a great time. Very good recommendations from the staff and John let me try the best seller and I could definitely see how it was the favorite, so he swapped out the wine I was drinking for a glass of that one! I wish I could remember the exact wine but it was one of the fruit ones, it was acai flavored along with something else.“

La Cruz de Comal Wines, Ltd. Winery • $$$
7405 Farm To Market Rd 2722, New Braunfels

“Stopped by with my parents, and we thoroughly enjoyed every second of our time here nestled close to a warm fire. We began with a tasting and loved each one. Phil was very knowledgeable and personable with all guests who were on the property. We ended with a bottle of the 2014 Syrah and took home a bottle of 2020 “Wrongheaded Hombre.” We look forward to visiting again!“
