Chinese Restaurants near San Marcos

“I had 2 items with fried rice plate for $9.99. My choice was chicken with zucchini and mushroom and spicy chicken with jalapeno. The zucchini is still crunchy and not mushy. The chicken is all white meat and very tender. They are actually pretty good at being in a food court. I think it is the best Chinese food you can find in New Braunfels and San Marcos area unless you want to make a trip to Austin. The ingredients are fresh and high quality. You get a nice quality of food for the price. The two ladies work there are very friendly. The offer me sample immediately when they saw me. The only complaint I have is fried rice are a little bit heavy with soy sauce and kind of salty to me.“

“Dumplings - classic dumplings and were delicious!!! Wonton soup has a unique twist (roasted garlic slivers). I enjoyed beef lo mein, the sauce was on the sweet side which I’m not accustomed to and there were only slivers of carrots and not any other veggies. (Not accustomed too). I added chili sauce and it helped it become balanced. Spicy yellow tail rolls were delicious! General Saus chicken was very good too. Wait staff was friendly and prompt. Menu is presented very nicely with thick pages. (I wish there was more description.“

“First time here, employees are very nice and our waiter made sure we had our drinks refilled when closed to empty. Food is good, not great but enough to make me and my boyfriend full and satisfied. Nice atmosphere, we just didn't like the same song on repeat, tho it's not that bad. Very much worth the price, I feel as though people that haven't visited these kinds of places are the ones leaving all the bad reviews because as far as Asian buffets go it's pretty standard if not even a little better.“

“Panda Express hits the spot when other things don't. We like to order the Bigger Plates and split them. When you do that the price gets cut dramatically. So share as much as you can! I also love their soda because it's always sweet and fresh. Ask for hot sauce for some kick and get extra plates to make sharing easier.“
