She said she just started but I couldnt tell not only is she beautiful but very attentive our drinks were never empty she made sure we were okay and we had a great time. “Saw this place on Facebook and as always looking for something new. There is a large amount of parking across the street but the parking lot can fill up fast as well . This tells you how great this little town is. The inside is small but the patio area is very spacious with several tables to sit at. There is a stage and the music was awesome! I felt like I was at home in my own back yard. The food trucks vary. I did not care much for the two food trucks there that night. (I won't say which because this is based on my taste not anyone else's) drinks were good and there are $2 shots when you hear the train horn ?. I loved this place and so did my family who attended. The age group is a mixture and dog friendly. Try this place and always judge fir yourself.“

“1st, our server was excellent. Very friendly, courteous and professional. My bourbon hamburger ? was awesome. Juicy and flavorful. My wife had the bourbon chicken and shrimp ? and she loved it. We had the blonde for dessert and that was amazing. We also tried the dollaritas for the 1st time and while they were good, they were weak but what can you expect for a buck. Overall, we enjoyed our meal very much.“

“Fantastic spot to play pool, darts, and smoke INSIDE. I thought there weren’t anymore places in San Antonio that allowed smoking inside but I was wrong. “Got there a little early, 3pm. Looks large enough. Noticed several dart games along the walls. Was hoping for a good Chicago brew like I remember (Old Style, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Schlitz, etc.) but only brand names or regional. I was drawn there because their "Cubs" logo can be seen from the road. “Hard to get drinks from the bar as it is always crowded. Could use a waitress or two. But pretty nice atmosphere & great cover band playing. Oh and the darts games need to be better maintained. They only had broken darts to offer to use, which in themselves were useless. I asked for more tips for them & waited over 2 hours never got them. Maybe better luck next time.“

“There is one bartender cannot remember her name but she only really ever serves the men. Even if you are in line ahead of a guy she will scan and go serve a dude first. To the point where it is blatantly obvious. Other than that I love this place. Karaoke is awesome here too.“

“My fiance treated me to a night at JW Marriott as part of my Christmas gift on December 23rd. When we checked in, we were given a coupon that allowed us to get two free beers or glasses of houses wine from any of the bars. We decided to get a beer at High Velocity. The place has a casual feel with many TVs throughout, all of them displaying a game. The biggest TVs are above the bar, and they have ticker below them showing the scores of other games. The server greeted us soon after we were seated. We both ordered a hopadillo. The drinks came out shortly after that. The place seemed fun, so my fiance and I decided that we would come here for lunch the next day. The following day, we showed up shortly after 11. Once again, we were seated immediately. It is important to note at this point that these were special hours for the holiday. I looked up the hours, and it looks like they normally open at 5. The server once again greeted us shortly after we were seated. We ordered more Hopadillos to drink. I ordered the Extra Hot wings, and my fiance ordered the nachos. I am always skeptical when a restaurant says the food is spicy. I have seen too many restaurants that did not live up to the claim. I am happy to announce that High Velocity was able to back up their Extra Hot claim. My fiance also enjoyed her nachos. There is an area on the other side of the bar that has two golf simulators. I suggest this place for good food and service. It would be a great place to watch a game.“

The food sometimes may take a while, but you have to understand that their’s only one person working in the kitchen, so I usually sit back with my drink, watch the game, chat while waiting for the food.
