“I had a terrific experience Tookie's Seafood restaurant. It's now my go-to place in the Kemah area. The service and food were spectacular. I highly recommend going y to dine here. I was so impressed I just called for Christmas gift cards and spoke to Jared King. He did such a fabulous job on one $50 gift card with adding 10 extra dollars for free that I ordered another one for my nephew. I live out of town so Jared is mailing them in the morning to my friends and family. I couldn't be happier. Haley and Skyler also helped in the process. It was such a wonderful experience. I'm so impressed! This will now be my Christmas present go to gift card restaurant. Call now!!!“

“The meat was dry and a bit bland. The brisket was a weird square shape as well, usually it's shaped like bacon. The meat tasted like it was cooked in an oven and then finished on the smoker.

They had an all you can eat (AYCE) option as well but the normal 2 meat portion was more then plenty.

The people were super friendly, the portions were good and the atmosphere was nice so overall I would go back if I was nearby but I wouldn't drive out of my way.

One more thing, be prepared to smell like a smokehouse if you eat inside.“

“My husband and I had Brunch at The Backyard for the second time recently and it once again did not disappoint. We have definitely made it our new spot! The service is sooo kind and friendly. The food is SOOO amazing. The drinks are fresh and well sized. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners Chris & Shelby on our first visit. They are definitely what you look for in an establishment. I highly recommend Sunday funday brunch here! Even if you brunch with the family. Great spot! Great people!“

“Over the past year and a half, my friends and I have gone to Cabo at least a couple of times a month. It's our go-to for holidays, birthdays, and perfect for enjoying a sunny day by the lake! The food has always been amazing, the drinks are tasty, and both the bar service and waitstaff are fantastic! Try the steaks on Thursday nights- they're always cooked just right, and the mac and cheese is sooooo good! 😋 (I'm low key obsessed with mac and cheese, and will totally judge a place by it! 🤣)“

“Pelican is seriously one of those rare breakfast spots that just *nails it*. The food is amazing—crispy bacon, big hearty breakfasts, and that homemade feel you don’t get much anymore. The chicken fried steak? Unreal. Perfectly crispy, super tender, and that gravy on top is just next level. You can tell everything’s made with care, not just thrown together. It’s honestly hard to find places like this these days. If you're into real, solid breakfast food that tastes homemade, you gotta check this place out. Total hidden gem. “What can I say!! This is one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in a while! It is a little hidden gem!! Everything has such great flavor !! The Gumbo is fantastic and the chicken and the pecan praline waffle is out of this world!! You definitely will not be disappointed with anything!! And to top it all off the food is Hot made to order and worth the wait!! Definitely will be going back to try some other things!! Our table also had the shrimp and grits and they were very tasty!! The chef deserves to be recognized!!“
