“Everything we got was delicious, down to the drinks! Matcha latte with lavender, and mocha frappachino with the thickest and most delicious whipped cream on top!Plenty of ice cream flavors that are unique and delicious too!The shrimp po boy was soooo good! Crispy fried shrimp, fresh veggies, tasty sauce and delicious toasted bread it was perfect!“
“Great place in nice small town. Food is amazing. We ate there 2 nights in a row and had pork chop specials, hamburgers, several apps, wedge salad among other dishes. Everything was top notch. Good wine choices and nice big glasses. Not too pricey overall. ONLY complaint is the noise level. It is super loud inside. Bad acoustics or something. Way too loud for this nice of a place.“
“Good Food, Great portions, clean dinning and kitchen areas condiments, in sealed units. Vegetables in cute old car trunk display. Reasonable prices. But note, They close at 3pm. They do not make any more tea from 2pm if the tea runs out! Only draw back!“
“Got the "roadhouse layer" as an appetizer. Yummy. My bleu cheese burger: Yummy (really done quite well...most places just burn them...this place: Yummy.). My wife liked her chicken.Great service. Wife remarked that refills came magically.Needs a beverage menu or even a section of their menu devoted to what they have.“
“We did not realize that the Comfort Cafe is a non profit when we decided to give it a try. The food was amazing and the portions are very generous. Everything is donation based so you pay what you can. Not only did we enjoy our food but we also were happy to support a local nonprofit. We will definitely be making another trip to Smithville to eat at Comfort Cafe!“
