“This is one of my most favorite local places to dine at. The food is ALWAYS phenomenal, cooked with lots of fresh vegetables and savory main dishes. “Used to be so friendly and accommodating as a small town restaurant should be. Request for a pancake at 11:30 a.m. flatly denied looking us straight in the eyes. Homophobia? Dark haired female cook, Jessie, with glasses... Mother daughter owned. No apology, no effort to repair. Disappointment as we drove from Pflugerville especially for this on our anniversary.“

“We rented a Airbnb in Bastrop county. Heading back home to Houston, we stopped here at Eva’s cafe.
I had the pork chops with eggs(flavorful) and my husband had the tortilla soup for breakfast(very delicious)!
Service is great and they are kind.
Restrooms are clean. And their tortillas are made fresh. We didn’t wait too long for our food.
This restaurant is worth it!“
