“Have been going here since 2016 and I've seen it grow from a shack to a full blown pavilion with doors and space for heaters. The graffiti has been kept and is not quite family friendly :). It's still one of the most affordable, unique hot dog places in town. The Southern Caviar is a great sharable appetizer that normally comes with 6-10 toast bites and very generous servings of cheese. A taco is large enough for 4-5 big bites and can be shared among two people as an appetizer. One hot dog with this combo works very well, or two hot dogs with no appetizers if you have a real appetite. Highly recommend chef's choice of toppings (honestly can't go wrong with any meat but I'm partial to the duck, lamb, and elk. I usually do chef's choice toppings, with sauerkraut) and the cheese from the southern caviar helps finish the pretzel bun if you have some left over after eating the hot dog.
Dietary restrictions: Pretty nut allergy friendly, at least with the tacos and hot dogs. Some beers may have peanut butter notes.“

“Went to this club for the first time in my life with my nephew and his girlfriend and had an absolutely amazing time (I'm 59). I do like house/techno music but have never been to a venue like this is. All I can think about is the next time I go again! I thought partying till 5-6 in the morning would be a little rough but boy was I wrong! Had a fabulous time and everyone I met Saturday night was absolutely amazing as well. If a great haired old man who's almost 60 loved it, can you imagine how the rest of the people feel!!! I do have a bad knee but for some reason, it felt magical that night/morning for some reason ?. Will definitely go again!“

“Don’t really have much going on, healthwise, so I never needed a PCP. But my job wanted me to get a physical / medical clearance. I was really nervous, but the staff and my now new primary healthcare provider made me feel so at ease. They were straight to the point, helped me on my questions/concerns, other medical offices you will get attitude and some of the staff will make you feel stupid, but the staff here were the exact opposite! I have blue cross blue shield of Texas insurance and it was accepted here. Will be coming back for everything (hopefully it won’t be needed though)“

“Our overall experience was great. We passed the place up since it was our first time, but a U-trun fixed that. (Look for the fire truck). We had a food hiccup, but it was addressed quickly by the staff. We celebrate my dad's birthday and he was happy and that's all that matters.“

“This place was incredible. Food was awesome, service was incredible. Our server Rachel was so kind and super attentive to us. Highly recommend for your next brunch spot or corporate event. They have an insane rental area in the back with a private bar. Run don’t walk to book your next event!“

“Accepting neighborhood atmosphere. Here from out of town. I walked downtown and hit the rustic, toms and the bowling alley. This tops them, and this is just on the other side of the highway. Steak night Monday 10pm. Small crowd of nice folks. Good food and cold beer neighborhood bar. Music is a graphic after football is done.“

“All around fantastic experience. I was very surprised. This was the first time I've ever eaten at a restaurant associated with a golf course. I am not a golfer. The food was top-notch, and the service was fast and friendly. My diet Pepsi glass was always full. A business associate brought me here. I would have never found the place on my own. The dining room was clean, wide open with plenty of space, and provided a beautiful view of a golf course.“

“Took my son back to UofH for his sophomore year. Needed to find a close spot to watch The Cowboys game, and this place was perfect.
Cool friendly staff and the energy is perfect.
Parking will be a challenge, with it being on campus. But it’s perfect for food and drinks.“

“The breakfast here was one of the highlights of my stay. The 1600 Bar and Grill offered a fantastic spread with well-presented meals that exceeded my expectations. And a lot of amazing deserts which I always appreciate lol Mrs Shai & her staff were so professional and made sure my cup was never empty and my plates where cleared before I said anything amazing service and the made to order omelet bar was so good and The dishes were crafted with care, and the flavors were impressive, showcasing the pride the culinary team takes in their work. The lobby bar also provided a cozy and vibrant atmosphere for a relaxing evening drink, and I was pleased to find a Starbucks conveniently located in the lobby.“

“Kaci is the ABSOLUTE BEST BARTENDER!!!! I can't even put it into words. She not only gets your order right but most importantly in a timely manner even though there is NUMEROUS customers ordering drinks. I appreciate she will acknowledge you and say a couple of seconds (if it takes a couple of seconds) and literally it will be a couple of seconds. Kaci, has a welcoming vibe as well.“
