“Ive been coming here for many years. Its little piece of neighborhood flavor. American fare with exorbitant portions and family friendly pricing. The steam table lunch/dinner options are just good old American choices like grandma used to make. From meatloaf to liver and onions with two sides(many daily choices of entree and sides) that will having you take home leftovers as your next big meal. I highly recommend for the ambiance, the staff and the family friendly pricing. This place has been here as long as I can remember(since 1952). Early closing times so check their website/Facebook page or call for operating hours. Will post pics next time I come here.“

The food and atmosphere were wonderful, but his service truly made the night special. He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Every recommendation was spot on, and he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience.
What impressed us even more was his honesty and kindness. After we left, we realized we had forgotten our AirPods, and Hernan actually came after us to make sure we got them back. That level of care and integrity is incredibly rare and says so much about his character.
It's not often you receive service like this these days. The restaurant gave us a reason to visit, but Hernan gave us a reason to come back. Without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences we've had in a very long time. Thank you, Hernan, for making our evening so memorable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🍷✨“

“I went in to First Cup today to try the coffee and breakfast sandwhich. I was impressed with the service (10/10) and cleanliness as well as the atmosphere. Very comfortable, cozy and warm. The coffee ( Americana with an extra shot of espresso) was made perfectly by Grace and the food (sausage,egg and cheese croissant) was on point. When Grace brought our food out it was just the right temperature. The restrooms were clean as well as the rest of the restaurant. I will be returning.“

“My daughter-in-law picked Earth to Mars for us to try. What a GREAT find. Kirin greeted us immediately as we entered with a friendly smile and salutation. She was patient as we asked questions about the menu and deftly guided us to choices we would be happy with.

I had the Salmon Baguette and highly reccomend it. Only bad part was when it was gone...sigh...it was too delicious! :-) My D-I-L had the Avacado Toast which definitely was an elevated Avacado Toast. Only bad part of that was she ate it all and I didn't get a taste! sigh....

For drinks, I went with the S'mores In the Milky Way and my D-I-L had the White Chocolate Banana...both were mmmmmmmm!

As we ate, I visited a few times with the owner, Marlies. You gotta love a place where the owner is on-site and clearly happy be there. She made us feel like we belonged right here.

If you are in the EaDo area, I strongly encourage you to give Earth to Mars a try! And if you aren't in the area, honestly, it is a wonderful place to zig over to; well worth the trip! Nope, I'm not related....just a very happy customer!!!“

“Just adopted our Lauren from here. The concept is really cool. You get to hang out with the cats while giving them treats and drinking coffee. You then get to take the cat you’re interested in home to see if they are a good fit. Cats are very well socialized with people due to the nature of this business and the establishment is very clean. A tip for anyone new who is visiting for the first time. There are 2 sections. One for the more active and playful cats and the other for the more introverted cats. Don’t be afraid to ask to see the other cats. Love this place and I highly recommend them if you are looking to adopt.“

“I highly recommend this Café. I ordered to go as I’m leaving state after breakfast, but the girl that helped me carry my drinks out was super sweet. Not being from Texas I was curious about everything on the land and she was very informative (I should’ve gotten her name). I ordered the Sycamore 2s which was 2 pancakes (choice of 1/2 waffle or 2 slices French toast), 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon (choice of sausage also). I got my son an order of French toast, and a friend the brunch burger. Everything was AMAZING. The server mentioned Mondays they have a mimosa special (she told me exactly but I forget it). I like over medium eggs and this is the first place I’ve been that’s gotten my eggs PERFECT the first time around. It’s an adorable little café and there’s a wedding venue in the back. Everything was straightforward but well-prepared. Service was a bit slow, possibly due to limited staff, but they were polite and attentive.
