“The place is good and the waiters are very helpful BUT it is annoying that they take your bill very quickly. I had only finished half of my second portion and I already had the bill on the table and if it was because of the tables there were many empty ones or because of the food We didn't eat much, I'm sorry, but they should change that.“

“Ordered take-out from here for a late night Chinese food craving. Overall order came out pretty good. We ordered the sesame chicken, pork buns, and combination fried rice. The sesame chicken was a little sweet for my taste but flavor is still pretty good. The chicken was cooked well, not hard or soggy if you know what I mean. The pork buns were okay, only complaint is there was an overwhelming amount of ginger, I could barely taste the pork and the rest of the seasoning. But the bun itself was cooked nicely, doesn't taste stale or soggy, had the right amount of bounce to it. The fried rice was excellent! The rice was perfect, not hard or chewy, just right. We picked up our order so there wasn't any service but based off of reviews, there weren't complaints about service, and walking in for pick up, it looked like cottage vibes but like I said, we ordered take out so we didn't have the sit-in experience. I see this is a franchise and if we are in town again, we would definitely try this spot again. Check this place out! Till then, let's eat!!!!“

“The entrees are great. Good portion sizes. I can usually eat half of it and take the other half for lunch to work the next day. My favorites are the firecracker chicken and the honey seared chicken, but honestly they are all pretty good. Minor complaint, in dishes with lots of vegetables they overcook them just a bit, at least for my taste.“

“This was the last stop on my birthday celebration! I sat at the bar. I was given a bottled beer with no glass. It looked like the bartender was stretched a little. Lettuce wraps good as always. I also thank y'all for the bday appetizer!“

“OMG!! I was in the area today and stumbled upon this restaurant. I had the combination lomein and my son had the General Tso’s chicken. Dynasty’s food is absolutely delicious, hot and fresh!! I wonder if this is the same Dynasty that used to be on S. Braeswood. Their food was so delicious & tastes just the same. I’m so glad I found this place!!“
“Exceptional food taste and quality! The service also exceeded expectations. 100% recommend this restaurant.“

“This is some of the best Chinese-American food I have eaten. The prices for the amount of food you receive are a bargain. I think they have some specials with lower prices. I have always just walked in and asked for General Tso’s chicken, steamed rice, a small hot and sour soup with a bottle of Coke. This will cost you about $18. But, you can make two meals out of the portions provided. I have visited twice and will definitely return. As a matter of fact I live over 30 minutes from their location but will most definitely be taking my family there for Sunday dinner after church.
I finally took the family here and had the chance to try their different fare. All of it was excellent. They even threw in a couple of cheese rangoons with our order. I wish they were closer to the house, but they are well worth the drive.“

“Found this place on Google maps and I do not regret it. The woman at the front desk was really nice and welcoming, our server was really chill and overall the service was great. When the food came I did not expect it to be as fresh as it was which gave me the impression that they care
about the quality of ingredients that they use. The Orange Chicken and the Pan Fried Dumplings especially were SUPER fresh and tender so I recommend those. It's a small place, and gets a bit crowded over the weekends but definitely a place I'll go back to again. Bonus points for it having good food so close to my area??“

“10/17/24
First I came here had the vegetable soup. I'm so happy that I came here. The broth and veggies were amazing and a very fresh taste.
There were mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, scallions and more veggies. It's definitely was a vegan option and barely tasted the sodium.
Vegetarian options: There are at least 3 vegan/ vegetarian options.“

“As always. Hot food and delicious. Only complaint is that when you spend $51.00 dollars on 5 egg rolls, 2 orders of fried bread and several large orders of entrées that require at least 4 or 5 sweet and sour sauce- little cups but only get 2 and when one request 2 more but they tell you they are going to charge you for 2 more after paying $51.00, it leaves a bad taste in one's mouth.“

“I walked in and totally forgot what I normally order. The staff here helped me identify my “regular” order and I am now a happy camper. Food here never disappoints. I’m moving in to the area soon and think I’ve found my new go to Pei Wei.“

“Food was good for a quick bite. The XLB was one of my favorites. Surprisingly the chicken and vegetable wontons in chili oil were surprisingly the best. The Thai tea was delicious. I’d skip the noodles I got in the photos. They were mid. The cucumbers were nicely presented and delicious. The staff were friendly and kept checking on us. Will be back as this is closer and just as good as bellaire.“

“Ordered yesterday for the first time. Absolutely wonderful. I can’t believe I haven’t heard of this place before now. The Mongolian beef was excellent. The orange chicken and general taos chicken were amazing too. Very cheap prices. We all had egg drop or wonton soup and the taste was exactly how it’s suppose to be. We’ve tried so many places and you can tell when something is fresh or made with cheap Ingredients, this place rocks. We will definitely try to spread the word. Way to go you guys.“

“What a delightful find! This unpretentious little restaurant really surprised us. First impression: Clean as a whistle, big menu, exceptional prices, friendly and helpful staff. We had s/s pork, human beef, shrimp lo mein, fried rice and eggrolls. Yum to all. Delicious traditional prep, huge portions. We took home twice what we ate. Atmosphere OK, tables and chairs, order at the counter. When you go WOK right in and tell John we sent you.“

“CASH ONLY
You better be ready to wait, because it's ALWAYS busy.
You better not expect some gourmet meal, because you won't find it here. This is a place to get some good food for an affordable price. Don't come in expecting a Michelin star experience and dishes. This is one of those spots that everyone in the neighborhood knows and goes to when you want something quick, affordable, and good to eat.
The other reviews you see are from people expecting high end dining food. This ain't the place for that. They offer kool-aid as a drink. Come one now, be smarter than that.“

“10 out of 10. Stayed open during Hurricane Beryl. Was only place to get food while power was out. I would Recommend! Food was also very good. As a truck driver it's already difficult to get good food but while everything else was closed including the loves truck stop convenice store it was only option to eat and use bathroom.“

“The best place to eat a delicious Chinese food, the people who serve it are very beautiful and friendly, you eat well, they serve you well and also cheap and the soup they sell (Vegetable Soup) 100% recommended for 10 years I have been attending with my Family for what a good restaurant it is.“

“Nicest lady at the countertop and I, after years of eating Chinese & Asian food in Houston and have driven 30+ minutes out to get food before, do not understand how they manage they keep the cost that cheap and food of this quality. My chicken tastes fresh and freshly fried, the batter is not too tough or too thick at all but has the crunch, sauce is great on the sweeter side, fried rice that goes free with the chicken has some wok heat in it (I'm sure the flavor of fried rice would be even better if you order them separately with meat), and an egg roll not too thickly wrapped with actually some meat in it. 10 bucks total with card. Everything is quick, they are flexible with options and my food is hot and crunchy when I arrived home, food portion great for the cost, quality & location. The lady remembers people's names too, she knows her customers.
Among the best and definitely the cheapest mom&pop Chinese American takeout I've had.“

“Star Chef has a variety of dumplings you can order. They have steamed (vegetable, pork, or chicken), pan fried pork, and deep fried pork or chicken. ThI've tried all of the ones that Star Chef has and enjoy each one. You can get a mixed dozen for $9.99 plus tax but it's a good portion. They also have an excellent WonTon soup! Their customer service is impeccable and they go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience each and every time.“

“So far, I was very happy with the food here. I ordered chicken with mixed veggies, which came in a white sauce, and had brown rice instead of white rice. I also ordered pork fried rice and an eggroll. The eggrolls were just ok, but both the fried rice and chicken dishes were delicious! I am looking forward to trying different entrees, but have to say I am impressed with the quality and taste of the food.“

We tried taro & mango tea with boba & strawberry and blueberry smoothie. Both were great! We will definitely be back soon! ?

“Inexpensive Chinese food. If this is something you enjoy, China Ocean will not disappoint. Egg rolls are good, and their green beans were great. I had orange chicken, it was good. Service was fast and friendly. There's a lot of places to eat in the downtown underground, and this one is decent enough to eat at more than once. Not impressive enough for five stars, but it is good.“

“Loved the place, it just felt empty when I was there.
Wheelchair accessibility: One of the main reasons my aunt enjoys going here, is that she doesn't need help getting from the car to the table. This place is perfect for anyone with mobility issues considering how open the floor plan is.“

“The best take out China Wok place in the Pasadena area! Food is always Hot, Fresh and cooked with perfection! “This is one of those hole in the wall Chinese restaurants that just crank out huge plates of food at very affordable prices. The food is decent. I wish their fried rice had something extra to it but it works for being a very simple recipe. The sweet and sour chicken is good. Don’t expect 5 star quality food from this place but they will fill you up. They are pretty quick about getting your order out to you as well.“

“Yang's kitchen has great food and outstanding takeout service. I did read a bunch of poor reviews, but after eating the food Im taking them as the person having a bad day. The orange chicken was hot and delicious, spicy chicken wings were out of this world!!! Cool way to separate yourselfs from the others was the wheat fortune cookie. :) Overall I cannot complain bout anything I will be returning. Keep up the hard work!!“

“It's my go-to Chinese restaurant in the Webster area, and I go here for lunch once every couple of weeks. They are friendly and fast. I assume they are busy for dinner because lunch is usually quiet and not very crowded. The wonton soup is excellent, as are the egg rolls. Portion sizes are decent. My favorites are sweet and sour shrimp, General Tso's chicken, and Mongolian beef.“

“5 stars for exceeding my expectations. This is my 2nd visit. Small place hidden inside the tunnel. The first time, I came here for lunch a few weeks ago and ordered the Vermicelli with Chicken. It was good. Portion was great and the char grilled chicken was awesome. Nothing bad to say about it except that I wish it would in a bowl. This my first time trying the Pho here and I am seriously surprised. I came in with low expectations but the broth is as good as some other places in Houston.Broth was flavorful and not bland. Noodles were not overcooked. I ordered the beef, and it came out to be a combination, like the dac biet at other restaurants. Good portion of different meats and it didn't taste old or rubbery. Overall, great lunch spot for Vietnamese food.“

“Went here to start off the new year. I haven't been here since they moved from the old location and I was not disappointed. Server was awesome he came by several times making sure our drinks were filled and we had plenty of napkins. Food is really good for a buffet, I rather go here than golden corral any day of the week.“
