“Went here to start off the new year. I haven't been here since they moved from the old location and I was not disappointed. Server was awesome he came by several times making sure our drinks were filled and we had plenty of napkins. Food is really good for a buffet, I rather go here than golden corral any day of the week.“

I have to say im a bit forgetful and often misplace my phone but usually when I go back to where I lost it..I dont get it back. Just today I forgot my phone, and the staff and owner helped me out. “We rarely go to the Cafe, but order delivery.
We've ordered from JB's for over 13 years. Never had an issue!!! Never had bad food or bad service or an issue with the prices.
The staff is super friendly! The delivery lady has practically watched my kids grow up lol

I only wish they were open on Tuesdays, seems I crave their food on Tuesdays more than not. But definitely a fantastic option for a simple clean China take out. Highly recommend“

“The entrees are great. Good portion sizes. I can usually eat half of it and take the other half for lunch to work the next day. My favorites are the firecracker chicken and the honey seared chicken, but honestly they are all pretty good. Minor complaint, in dishes with lots of vegetables they overcook them just a bit, at least for my taste.“

“Most of our visit was excellent. Our waitress was fantastic and the food was perfect. The facilities could use a few touch-ups, but it was clear they were just coming off a dinner rush. When we arrived, there weren’t enough chairs at our table and a few dirty napkins were left on a chair and the floor—minor issues, and forgivable.

The reason this is not a 5-star review is the hostess. In that role, you are the face of the establishment, and no guest should pass by without at least being acknowledged. This is something I learned in luxury hospitality with the Ritz-Carlton. We walked past three times and were acknowledged only once, and that was with haste and a dismissive tone. When the initial impression isn’t set and kept, it can affect the whole experience. Fortunately, the rest of the team did their part and helped make the evening enjoyable.“

“This is some of the best Chinese-American food I have eaten. The prices for the amount of food you receive are a bargain. I think they have some specials with lower prices. I have always just walked in and asked for General Tso’s chicken, steamed rice, a small hot and sour soup with a bottle of Coke. This will cost you about $18. But, you can make two meals out of the portions provided. I have visited twice and will definitely return. As a matter of fact I live over 30 minutes from their location but will most definitely be taking my family there for Sunday dinner after church.

I finally took the family here and had the chance to try their different fare. All of it was excellent. They even threw in a couple of cheese rangoons with our order. I wish they were closer to the house, but they are well worth the drive.“

First I came here had the vegetable soup. I'm so happy that I came here. The broth and veggies were amazing and a very fresh taste.
There were mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, scallions and more veggies. It's definitely was a vegan option and barely tasted the sodium.

Vegetarian options: There are at least 3 vegan/ vegetarian options.“

“Food was good for a quick bite. The XLB was one of my favorites. Surprisingly the chicken and vegetable wontons in chili oil were surprisingly the best. The Thai tea was delicious. I’d skip the noodles I got in the photos. They were mid. The cucumbers were nicely presented and delicious. The staff were friendly and kept checking on us. Will be back as this is closer and just as good as bellaire.“

“I traveled all the way from San Antonio to MLK just to get Timmy Chan’s General TSO chicken with shrimp fried rice and their 2 fish 6 shrimp with fries meal. Unfortunately when i received my food ( which was indeed fresh and hot) the fish meal didn’t make it out to the car and my sons and I slaughtered the general chicken it smelled so good. I haven’t had Timmy chan since 2018.
They take cash only but the wait is worth it.“

“We had a fantastic dinner here one weekday night. The food was delicious and freshly made. We tried the Malaysian Beef and the Double Mushroom Chicken.

The server was friendly and kind.

She was attentive and gave me the healthier food recommendation: I was between Double Mushroom Chicken and Sesame Chicken.

The place seemed older and could have used some remodeling and repairs, particularly the restroom.

However, the food was delicious. I enjoyed the thick cut green onion in both dishes. The white rice was soft and fluffy.

The server even brought out a second bowl of rice on the house.

The Malaysian Beef was authentic to some of the more local meals I tried in Beijing. I’m not sure how it compares to Malaysia: one day we’ll travel there.

As a truck driver it's already difficult to get good food but while everything else was closed including the loves truck stop convenice store it was only option to eat and use bathroom.“

“Star Chef has a variety of dumplings you can order. They have steamed (vegetable, pork, or chicken), pan fried pork, and deep fried pork or chicken. ThI've tried all of the ones that Star Chef has and enjoy each one. You can get a mixed dozen for $9.99 plus tax but it's a good portion. They also have an excellent WonTon soup! Their customer service is impeccable and they go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience each and every time.“

Nothing bad to say about it except that I wish it would in a bowl.This my first time trying the Pho here and I am seriously surprised. I came in with low expectations but the broth is as good as some other places in Houston.Broth was flavorful and not bland. Noodles were not overcooked. I ordered the beef, and it came out to be a combination, like the dac biet at other restaurants. Good portion of different meats and it didn't taste old or rubbery.
