“I got the banana foster iced latte and it was honestly perfect. It was sweet without being overpowering, super flavorful, and you could still taste the quality of the coffee. The café itself is so cute with really chill, welcoming vibes. I especially loved the art and all the little details inside. They had ICE out signs on the door, which made it feel intentional about the kind of space they’re creating and added to the overall sense of community.

I also ordered the elote and it was SO good, and the chips were incredible too. You can tell they care about quality in everything they serve. I’ve been following them for a while and love how community-oriented they are. It’s inspiring to see such a strong, woman-of-color-led space doing things with so much intention. Definitely worth visiting and supporting.“

“Really pretty place! I love their vibe and atmosphere. I didn't get food but interested to try it. I got their pandan matcha which was not my favorite but was still nice. I think the pandan overpowers the matcha just a bit but it was still good. Price was a little high for the matcha but made sense based on the area. Baristas were sweet. The one gave me a regular instead of the large liked I ordered. When he realized, he told me I could have both and immediately went to make the order right. The seating and wifi were good. However, not as many outlets available unless you sit by the bar.“

I got one of their signature lattes, and was surprised by the quality. First time, I have ever tried Ethiopian coffee, and I must say I am a fan of the smoky taste. “We always love our late night eats at Mony’s anytime we’re in midtown. Fresh quality ingredients, best sauce and cheese around just makes the pizza great. Large menu with all the Italian pasta specials, and now serves breakfast and large range of desserts, too. You’ll never leave hungry. Great service. I happened to be in the area and without my toddlers so I decided to treat myself - and, wow! My iced half moon (recommended by staff) was exactly what I needed and the sausage egg and cheese sandwich was DELICIOUS. This place is so cute, and clean, and we’ll definitely be back!!“

“First, each time I have visited Common Grounds the service has always been welcoming. On this visit, I decided to enjoy (and I did enjoy it all) a Lavender Rose cappuccino and a pour-over using their Ethiopian beans (which was perfectly done), and to eat I had the Avocado Toast. It was one of the best I have had. I didn't think the one slice would be enough, but with the perfect amount of toppings, it was plenty to fill me up. Also, their flat white is a very enjoyable drink.“

“I went in to First Cup today to try the coffee and breakfast sandwhich. I was impressed with the service (10/10) and cleanliness as well as the atmosphere. Very comfortable, cozy and warm. The coffee ( Americana with an extra shot of espresso) was made perfectly by Grace and the food (sausage,egg and cheese croissant) was on point. When Grace brought our food out it was just the right temperature. The restrooms were clean as well as the rest of the restaurant. I will be returning.“

“I went there because the photos looked so amazing of all the drinks, but then when I went there, I saw they used the cheapest syrups you can get for their flavorings. So, I just had a regular latte and it was great, but if you need sweeteners, you might want to rethink it. I really can't stand those cheap syrups myself. I don't know how they became okay to serve. Granted, most places use cheap syrups, I only know one place that makes its own caramel and its own butterscotch. Every other place takes this shortcut to me that should be reflected in lower prices, but usually, these places aren't inexpensive.“

Fully staff, and drive thru fully staffed, an inside too to accommodate customers. Medium Golden Eagle XXX hot inside a large cup with extra whip and extra caramel drizzle. And they made it perfect. Will be back if on this side of town. Peaceful area to get coffee.“
