“10/10 recommend! I recently celebrated my 40th birthday here and reserved the outdoor patio for about 30 guests—it could not have been more perfect. 1. Victoria, our server, was PHENOMENAL. She managed our large party with ease, remembering everyone’s orders and making sure everything ran seamlessly—even with separate checks at the end. She had a young gentleman assisting her, but she totally ran the show, and her customer service was next-level. 2. Bianca, the GM, did a fantastic job coordinating everything ahead of time and making sure the evening was exactly how I envisioned. She even printed out the photo of my invitation I had texted her—just to match the vibe—and posted it on the door. Such a small touch, but it made me feel so special. 3. I also got to meet Vinh, the owner, who was so friendly and welcoming. From the drinks to the food to the customer service, everything was 🤌🏼. I couldn’t have chosen a better spot to celebrate my milestone birthday.“

“We love Silver Dollar Winery and Italian Bistro!!! it’s a must stop at when you are in Texas Hill Country! We feel it is the most authentic winery in the area!! The grounds are absolutely amazing to get a bottle of wine and a great Italian meal and sit outside, taking in the beautiful countryside! We love the chicken poblano lasagna, it’s to die for! The staff is amazing and super friendly! Feels like coming home every time we visit from Colorado!!“

“We stopped in yesterday and had a great time. Jill is beyond friendly and hospitable. Learned from Jill that their grapes come from Northern CA. Jill shared they have a lot of sweet wines but when I shared that I prefer a drier red, she recommended the tempranillo which was great. We ended up buying a bottle.
The winery is spacious - could easily accommodate a larger group. Comfortable seating. Will definitely be back!“

They have Sushi and many other Asian food options if you aren’t ready to try sushi just yet. Please give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I was really surprised by the quality of the food. Service was very friendly but she was by herself and there were way too many people for one person to serve, but she did as good of a job as anyone could ask and stayed friendly.

“My wife and I live in Houston and we were visiting Flower Mound where we lived several years ago. In the mood for Italian food, we met some friends at Giro Pizza, a restaurant I’ve heard about for some time. We shared some appetizers, that included Nonna’s Meatballs that were generously served and delicious. I had the veal special and my wife had the cannelloni. The veal was spectacular along side the well seasoned roasted Brussel sprouts. The wine which comes from the owner’s family winery in Italy was reasonably priced and excellent (they also have a full bar) We topped things off with dessert and the traditional lemon cello. Whatever was left over we brought home to enjoy again the next day. The place felt warm, inviting and the wait staff was attentive, professional and friendly. If we still lived in Flower Mound, GiroPizza would be on our circuit of date night, dining out experiences.“

“This is an oasis in the Dalla Fort Worth airport. Jennifer behind the bar was an absolute delight. Both knowledgable and friendly. My wife discovered the place after we had already eaten an overpriced hamburger, but we didn't make that mistake on the return trip. So glad it is there. Food was excellent and the wine was perfect (after some helpful guidance from Jennifer).“

“I was hungry for salmon and looked up a restaurant near me that had it. I'm not a local and this place game up on Google maps. I decided to give it a try.
The waiter informed me that their special for the day was rainbow trout from Colorado. I decided to give it a try with grilled vegetables and a salad.
It was delicious! And make sure to asked for the mixed vegetables to be grilled.“

“Farina’s Winery & Café in Granbury was the absolutely perfect atmosphere for hosting & kicking off our son’s Kelly & his bride Kat’s wedding celebration in style … the beautiful, old-world traditional setting in the Castle Room was marvelous - chandeliers, wooden doors from a French castle, gorgeous armoire and grand piano – truly lovely. The Italian buffet was sumptuous … and the servers - they were exceptional … a special thanks to Mel Madalone for her guidance in the planning, organization, set-up and her wonderful style … an amazing, beautiful evening!
