“Stopped by here Wednesday this week and had the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and mac n cheese. Food was really good and was quiet filling. Stopped by again today Friday and had the seafood platter blackened with the mashed potatoes and mac n cheese and was really good as well. This is one of my new favorites now when working in the area. This place does get busy during lunch time so please be patient it is worth the wait.“

“I dined at The Rouxpour whilst visiting family in Sugarland I’m from the UK so this was my first introduction to New Orleans inspired cuisine. I was certainly impressed. We all enjoyed our food. Every last plate was delicious. We had the blackened shrimp, lamb lollipops and the gumbo as appetisers. Absolutely delicious. Most of us got the steak with crabmeat, shrimp, potatoes and veggies. Staff denied our request to join two tables together to accommodate us so we squeezed into a booth but our waiter Jordan apologised on behalf of his colleagues and took the table size into consideration and made sure the food came out at just the right time and could fit on the table. Jordan was also incredibly polite, funny and generally of great character. The food was great but he really enhanced the experience. I will certainly be returning upon my next visit to the area. “We visited this restaurant for the first time about 19 years ago when live music used to played on weekends , moving forward .. We just visited last night and their food is as great as it has always been , the quality of their food and service remains consistent and exceptional. We have RV traveled the 50 States and for me the food in this Restaurant is in the top 3 , for my wife is #1. Here's to many more enjoyable visits in the future!“
“Forgot how amazing some of the food here is. Used to come here for years for lunch.Skip the ramen. It’s not their best effort. The tempura is all incredible and not oily, the sushi is high quality and fresh, the fried rice is awesome, and the atmosphere is small and cozy. Definitely going to come here more often“

Was pretty tasty and came with marinara sauce.Staff is friendly and was able to get a quick snack.Ordered on the app and was easy to pickup.I do like the fire oven that they have. The pizzas are being cooked and shuffled in and out of the oven.Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free on specific days. Lots of seating.“
“Outstanding spot for a delicious brunch. They have a variety of mimosa choices like pineapple, strawberry orange, apple, etc. My boyfriend and I split the cowboy special, which is biscuits topped with scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, ham, and bacon. It was plenty to share! The maple bacon donuts were hot, fresh, and had just the slightest kick of spiciness. The menu has something to offer everyone!Parking: Parking is on the street metered parking. They take coins or credit cards, but we could not get the credit card option to work, so we had to scrounge for coins.“

“Just got out of a hard doctors appointment. I needed to get some food and went to the CAVA on Lonestar!! I was chatting to the worker (i forgot how her name!!! im so sorry!!!) and ah she was the CUTEST and SWEETEST human being!!! She ended up paying for my food and gosh WHAT A BLESSING!! Seriously needed that with the day I was having!! Made my WHOLE DAY SO MUCH BETTER!!! And ahh the food is sooooo good!!!!!! Especially the mint juices (literally my fav things ever!!) ?Vegetarian options: lots of plant based protein!!Dietary restrictions: I got diagnosed with Fibromyalgia earlier this year because of that I’ve had to go gluten free. On top of that most meat makes me sick. I can always find good plant based protein options and the portions are perfect!! So much GOOD food!!!!“
“It was my second time here. I created my own wrap and it was great because everything tasted fresh. But most importantly the service was awesome, I didn't catch the name of the woman who helped us but it was on Friday at 7:30pm on 6/2. She went out of her way to help get us fresh rolls, and was really helpful and friendly. They all kept the place clean and neat. I would go back just for the service.“

Friendly staff and pleasant environment, if mildly claustrophobic.Edit: The food probably hasn't gotten much better, but I would say in the 1.5 years I've been coming there's been slow by steady improvements in the food, decor and atmosphere. Out of all the local joints, I can only admit I've been here more than anywhere else as my break from my daily walk - probably over 50 times. In any case I can't really justify my prior 2-star rating when I've come here so many times.I do like their new(er) smoky chicken sandwich or their angus baked potatoes, and the au jus is also quite decent. Oh, and the sweet tea is legendary, I just forget sometimes because I can't afford the calories.“

“There was no ambient music playing. Only music from the kitchen.This took away from my usual dining pleasure. I guess the music is for the benefit of the workers. I love music of all sorts but I didn’t get to enjoy the usual Chic-Fil-a experience. The ambient music was playing in the restroom only. ??? I guess now a days it's all about accommodating the workers and not the customers? At least the music from the kitchen was blasting even though I could still hear it.But the food and service was good.“
“First time here and I'm totally impressed with how simply great things are. It's not a fancy atmosphere, however they have some good sophisticated wines to taste. The wings & chicken strips are huge! I ordered an 8 piece thinking it was little ones like the other wing place... We didn't finish half of our food! We did finish the wine ?“
