“Awesome addition to downtown Rowlett. excellent pastries (huge variety) and breads. Fabulous coffee with house made syrups. They offer some unique coffee creations. I've enjoyed the Hot Turkish Coffee with cardamom syrup, the Mexican coffee with cinnamon and the iced horchata coffee. Great local vibe. Limited indoor seating but plentiful outdoor seating so I look forward to enjoying more coffee al fresco now that spring is here. Don't leave without a loaf of their sourdough bread. I ate a whole loaf by myself in a week. So delicious!“

“Ahhh what a cute spot! It’s inside a church which at first may put you off if you aren’t a church goer. This is not an issue (: I would definitely recommend this spot it’s our favorite coffee in the area!! The espresso is perfect and the overall drink is perfectly balanced. My husband loves the frappe because it’s blended well and has a great flavor without being too sweet!“

“Nice but you need a membership. its $25 a day or like $200 monthly. you can not use wifi unless you pay the fee. There is loud music, so it hard to study. It is a cute place to meet your friends. Nice outdoor seating, but no plugs. Overall nice place. I did not know it was a church. It was very welcoming. staff was very nice.“

“I’m a little split on my review but not because of the quality of the coffee. I’m really not a fan of the hours of operation. They close so early that during the week it’s really only for those who don’t work, work from home or go to school. It’s an add choice given that the downtown square starts to get more lively after 5pm. I typically want to take my kids after school and just hang out a bit but during some seasons they close at 5pm even. As much as I enjoy the coffee shop, we started hanging out at Frida down the street. My suggestion is that they should stay open later on days that the square gets more traffic. At least till 7pm.“

“Decided to try the coffee at Scooter's and was NOT disappointed. Hubby had Peanut Butter Blender. He really enjoyed and the Chi Tea Latte was perfect. “Coffee and a little goat farm!
IMPORTANT: A membership is required to do anything here (including 'just buy a coffee'). A little reading, a signature, and a one time fee of $10 for singles, $15 for couples, & $20 for families, and you're all set (as of 5/23/2026). If you have ever done business with folks that sell unpasturized products, this is pretty standard.

Opened sometime in 2024, the atmosphere is country-cozy and just what you'd expect and need outside of the hustle and bustle of ever-growing Forney. The staff is kind, and patient (they had to explain the membership thing to us, then about 10 other people after us). I had my usual 8oz, 3 shot espresso, 1 pump vanilla, breve latte that I get everywhere that serves fancy coffee, and they did it right the first time (unlike SB, which always forgets the vanilla)! My wife got a cortada in a fun little espresso cup. I always get flavors in my coffee, so I can't say too much about the roast except that is did not seem to be as bitter/harsh as SB. I also got 2 kolashies, they were tasty but could've been warmer.

Goat farm! Bring quarters so you can feed the goats! The goats are cute and eager to eat whatever treats are in the feed. There are adults and kids to feed, and they don't get too aggressive. I think you can also go into the pen with the goats, but it is muddy (clay), so bring an extra pair of shoes for that as I did not see a way to wash off shoes. You can also sit outside under the shade near them. Very cool experience, definitly will return.

Note: There is also a bunch of goat-related products for sale here, but we were just there for the coffee and atmo.“

They rarely have an off-time when the service is not excellent. Their stores are always clean, and their condiments are usually meticulously stocked. I'm definitely in love with their drinks, the other shops don't compare to this one, this one have so many more flavors. I normally hate tea's, but they have so many flavors and combinations.
