“Great date spot. Feels high end but comfortable all at the same time. Small, cute, funky space.Gooey cheese, chewy and crunchy crust, solid sauce. What’s not to enjoy? The service was the best part. They were amazing to me and my exhausted kids when we ended up there mistakenly thinking they had a type of pasta my kid wanted. They didn’t. But. They were amazing to us.They took excellent care of us.Take someone you care for here when you want to feel “comfortable and high end” at the same time.Vegetarian options: Pizza with no meat is vegetarian so lots of options there.Dietary restrictions: It really is what it is. Even non- pizza has high probability of cross contamination.Parking: There is paid street and a paid lot. Both fill up. So does the tiny restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They were awesome to my kids even though this not really a spot designed for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Did not seem super easy for someone in a wheelchair to navigate, but it can be done.“

“Had an absolutely delicious latte from Radio today. It was everything I was expecting and more. The extra parking behind the Cafe was especially nice.Made for an excellent stop for a meeting. It was loud enough to give a sense of privacy but not so loud as to be distracting.I'll definitely be back.“

“Not exactly a dive, as the drink prices were not cheap, but the cocktails on tap balanced that out. Intimate, dark interior with promised turntable entertainment, and a neat roadside exterior space.Parking: Parking lot is small and shared with adjacent businesses, about a dozen spaces.“

“It was a fun experience! They did have wine for those of you who don’t like beer! Wine was good. Their choices in Belgian beer was good and they are served in cool glasses. Lol. It was pricey, but that’s Austin, in my opinion. But it’s a neat little place to escape to for a minute. Location is great and there’s outdoor seating.“

“I so very rarely write reviews for places- but I felt compelled to do so. I had a Zoom call that ran WAY over the time it was scheduled for- which had my laptop battery on 5%. I brought my charger with me, and when I went to plug it in, the only outlets immediately available to me were 2 pronged, when of course, I needed a 3 prong. So I got myself up, found a 3 prong outlet, and stood there as my laptop got a little bit of juice. One of their employees kindly pointed out the charger right by my seat, but I told them it wasn't what I needed, unfortunately. Without a second thought- two of their employees found a new extension cord that had 3 prongs, swapped out the other cord, all so that I could post back up where I was. I have NEVER seen customer service that went above and beyond like that since I've moved to Texas 7 years ago. Bravo Progress!!!“

“I recently dined at this restaurant around the corner from me that left me thoroughly impressed. The portions were generous, satisfying even the heartiest appetites. The standout dish for me was the flavorful and perfectly cooked Hunan Chicken – a must-try that exceeded my expectations. The overall experience was delightful, and I highly recommend this place for both quantity and quality lovers.“
“The beer here is great and constantly changing. It’s a brew pub that offers a quality environment to enjoy good brews and food. The food is surprisingly good, they serve paninis and salad. They have NA drinks like coffee as well as thc drinks but I haven’t tried either so I can’t speak on that.I do love the food here though, the food is great, I’ve had 2 or 3 different paninis and have been satisfied every time. The staff is really cool and it’s a good place to go relax, study, or enjoy a brew or 2. They have pretty good WiFi and it’s a pretty good overall spot.If you’re in the neighborhood I’d stop by.“
“Can't say enough great things about this place. We were visiting from out of town for the solar eclipse and this place made our experience great. Great service, excellent beer, clean, family friendly, good outdoor space, and good food truck. Thanks for a great time!“
“Had a fantastic bike and brew tour this past weekend! Jake, our guide, was very informed about Austin and picked some great historical sites to stop at and 3 great breweries! My group was the only one that didn't also book the taco part of the tour so they gave us our tacos for free! Which was very kind. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Austin or even a local who wants to get to know the city in a different way!“

“Omg this play helps the soul. Super green, super smiley employees. Didn't taste the food, but I have a feeling it will be good. Somehow all the customers seemed to be super sweet and warm as well. I guess great places attract great people!“

“I recently spent 5 days on a girls trip to Austin, a city I had previously only visited once, like 7 years ago. Since that trip, I have viewed Texas with a nearly singular goal of revolution--uh, I mean, trying Texas-style kolaches. So imagine my glee when a kolache and beer establishment presented itself as an option?! We tried to go one afternoon, but kolaches were in seriously limited supply, so we returned the next morning. I had a little bit of the ol' vacation gut, and it was relatively early, so I didn't partake of any beer, but their selection, which featured a variety of Czech style beers, looked really good. If I go back, will definitely try one or three of them. What I did have and enjoy, however, was a delightful oat milk latte as well as some kolaches. Got a veggie sausage & gouda, four cheese (which was split), and a strawberry & cheese, which most resembles the kolaches you find in the Czech Republic. My companions got a jalapeño cheese and a couple of meat options, which I did not try. But lemme tell you: that shit was good! Airy yet indulgent, substantial but not overwhelmingly so. Very good. Service was prompt and friendly, the spot is very cute, and they have great souvenirs to take home and prove to your friends that you had what is, perhaps, one of the best kolache experiences in Texas*. (* As previously stated, I have been to Texas exactly two times, both trips to Austin, so the veracity of this last statement should be taken with a significant chunk of salt.)“

“This place has such a warm vibe. Great in the morning for espresso and lovely later in the day and into the evening for beer or a glass of wine. It's easily overlooked because it's in a multi-tenant building, but I love having Burnet Go-To in the neighborhood. If you're looking for a comfortable spot to go by yourself or to meet others, I highly recommend Burnet Go-To.“
“Good beer selection. They have more than IPAs. Hooray! The burger food truck is great. The chicken food truck is fine. The bluegrass days are great. Unfortunately, they have 512 Trivia. I wish they had another trivia provider (or at least a host who could annunciate). But the format of 512 Trivia is one of my least favorite trivia outfit formats in town.“
“Amazing place to bring your dog and socialize with other dog parents! We had an amazing time and Nala had a blast. Clean spot with workers in the yard to prevent any fights (what a huge plus!!). Loved the beer selection, the friendly staff, and above all the experience. Can’t wait to be back!“

“Came here looking for a bite to eat after a haircut and hands down best fresh pasta I’ve eaten!! The sauce of my truffle Alfredo was so creamy and rich yet not too rich that it couldn’t be finished. The waiter gave me a good white wine recommendation as well a little sweet and dry to match the pasta. My Caesar was fresh and well prepared. The bread was to die for!! It was light and airy and wished I asked where or how that made it. Although the server was nice they didn’t check on me often that I was left without a drink most of the time, but other than that this place is amazing!! I wonder why it was so slow this place needs more people in it!“

“Forever coming outta here with at least a dozen or more single cans. This is my favorite craft bottle shop to explore new stuff. Dante was super helpful, and btw was 110% right about trying to convince me to swap out a really not good beer cause I'm sippin on it now and he was spot on it sucks ? BUT I'm stubborn, I give things a try anyway to see for myself, AND I've only ever had a few beers so bad they deserved to be a drain pour. I can handle this one lol. Thanks my guy!“
“Planned a super Mario Bros event here, it was absolutely wonderful. The bright colors and open space were amazing. There are a bunch of configurations with the space so it's very versatile. Austin P was so helpful with set up. The bartender Nick was great jumping right in and taking charge with our specialty cocktail batches. It was a great celebration. Easy Load in and out for large item as well like video/ arcade games we brought in. Plus the sound system is sick!! Great place for private event!“

“big fan. it wouldn't be hard to spend half the day here. as someone who works remotely, I really enjoyed the drip brew coffee and the opportunity to order real food. I like that its so close to the city but separate, quieter, plenty of free parking.“
“Little spot down south, but excellent beer, including GABF and Texas Brewers Guild winners (usually for their lagers). Crisp. Brightly colored decor, and with inclusive messaging. Should definitely be included in any Ben White brewery crawl, and could be the alternative to the others nearby if you're looking for something more intimate.“

“We come here for SXSW to listen to a band we know. They had an outdoor stage with a canopy so even at 2 pm, you were not hot. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, there was no charge to go in. I had to go inside to get wine and the indoor space is so cool! There were different areas to sit ; the ambiance was great. They also had seating outside in the back. I will definitely be back to enjoy this wonderful bar.“

“This place rocks, the tacos are really big and comes with two tortillas, they charge fairly so I thought it was one of those big single tacos that Austin Restaurants charge a lot for so I bought two. There wasn't really a need to do so. The croissants are good and the lox is fantastic bagel or croissant are both good options.“
“We were almost too full and tired to come here, but I am so grateful that we did. The service was great - they even charged my phone for me! They have a tasting menu where you get four full pours and then you get to keep the glass for almost the same price as a 4 beer flight so you better believe we did it. We started with the Imperial stout with orange and chocolate and that was our favorite, so much so that we got a 4 pack of it to fly back home with us. The cranberry one was fine, but nothing special. Our final two pours included the Earl Gray tea one which tasted so much of Earl Gray, that I had to also get that one and cans to go. The final one was the pomegranate sour, which my boyfriend enjoyed thoroughly. Unfortunately, there was a bike bar crawl, so the place was packed when we got there, but we were eventually able to find a place to sit outside, and their adorable decorated patio. Even the bathrooms were cute. I would spend a lot of time here if I was a local.“

“The 2222/360 area is a bit of dead zone in terms of bars/restaurants to just bring your laptop and do some work. So it's super nice to have Coffee Shark in the area! Really love it and the staff is super sweet!Vegetarian options: The falafel sandwich was delicious!“

“Pleasantly surprised since I found it on the spot. I had a work lunch here and was impressed with the excellent and expedited service. Located at the start of Rainey Street, the place is tiny, cozy and has really amazing decor and loud color that I love. Did not get to try any of the cocktails since I was there for lunch. Looks like they have a list of mocktails as well. I was very happy with everything that my group ordered but I was most impressed with the cauliflower, which did not make it to photos because that's how good it was. Ask for extra Green goddess dressing on the side and you will not be disappointed. I'm eager to go back and try two other dishes that I was considering today, as well as getting more of the cauliflower. This is certainly a place I will be frequenting when I am downtown. Highly recommend!“
“This place has a lot of potential. It’s a cool environment- kinda funky. I’ve never seen over thirty people in there though. Got a big outside area. It’s just down Manchaca. Not too far from the bars that started getting crazy recently (Armadillo, Moontower, SABG) yet still that chill. Like I said- lots of potential. It’s cool right now regardless.“

“A gem of a place to work at, catch up with friends or go on a solo date! I've been here a couple of times and there is always ample seating and a lovely atmosphere, they've got a wonderful patio with loads of seating which is perfect in this great weather. I've gotten their fish sandwich which was huge, a little pricey and I may try to get their breakfast stuff/tacos next time. Their coffee though was at a good price range and I paid around 6 usd for a small Cuban con leche that I'm STILL thinking about. It was made perfectly with the right amount of sweetness that made it a treat but still tasted like coffee and not a shake. Parking has been okay for me since there is a shared parking lot but I can imagine that can get full sometimes.“

“Have enjoyed multiple meals at this East Austin spot. Our favorite pizzas are the salami and love supreme. Their caesar and chopped salads, as well as meatballs are good sides and starters. Be aware you do order at the counter for food and drink. However, overall service can be a bit hit or miss—we’ve had delightful servers and some who missed the mark completely. Also good to note that they keep the patio warm in the winter so you can enjoy outdoor dining.“

“I visited Capitol Cafe in Austin, Texas for the first time and chose one of their popular drinks off their menu, their Bluebonnet Frappe but asked for it to be made into an iced latte. This drink was by far one of the best tasting iced lattes I have ever had, to me the combination of the flavoured syrups were well-paired together and had just the right amount of sweetness and flavour! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the cafe had a nice, historic atmosphere and also had some seating outside on Congress Avenue, hence the 'Capitol Cafe' name. I will definitely try to visit again if time permits, thank you! :)“

“My partner and I decided to go to The Brass Tap for a WhistlePig Whiskey Dinner, and it was beyond our expectations! They served a spicy chicken and waffles, with whiskey infused whipped cream on top that was to die for! So delicious! The atmosphere was a lot of fun, but laid back. After we had finished dinner, there was a music "name that song" bingo that we also really enjoyed. We unfortunately didn't win, but the experience was so great that we are considering joining for a whiskey dinner once a month. The bartenders and servers are super friendly and will have you laughing. Definitely try this out!“

“I come here all the time, for the past 2 years. They have changed their menu a bit over time but without fail, whatever I order is the BEST thing I’ve ever had. Whether it’s food or coffee, it’s so amazing. I appreciate how much thought and care goes into their menu for vegan/vegetarians and everyone else. Genuinely the best selection of food, alcohol and coffee/smoothies. I would eat here every day if I could“

“DDD suggested spot in Austin, so let's go check it out! Monday evening isn't busy, as I walked right up to the order counter. I decided to get a couple Sammies. 1 brisket and 1 McDowell boneless rib. I started with the brisket, and yeah, it's tasty but wished I had a more spicy sauce with it. Next was the rib Sammie. This one was excellent. I wanted to get another one, but I had potato salad and banana pudding already on my plate. Next time I will get a rack of the ribs, skip the side, and definitely the pudding again. SLAB is a sandwich place, but you can get it by the pound also. I'll be coming back here next time I'm in Austin. SLAB BBQ is.....MALOY APPROVED“
