“6 stars if I could. We love ice cream and this local favorite was amazing. My son told me to get strawberry and I had to get Rocky Road as it looked like my childhood favorite (from Thirfty’s in Pasadena). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their ice cream or shake.“

“My husband and I enjoy visiting The Baked Bear for a post activity treat! Our first visit, we made ice cream sandwiches with toppings and found that, that was a little too much for us. The next visit, without toppings and different choices was great! I had the bear bowl which was a warmed cookie bottom and the ice cream of my choice on top. This is the perfect combination for me. The staff is happy to give samples of the ice cream flavors available to be sure you enjoy what you order! The place was very tidy and neat each time we have visited.

We did park in the lot across the way from PF Changs and walked passed it to get to the Baked Bear.“

“I've been back a few times recently after not eating fast food for a long time. Seems they have made some serious improvements since the last time I updated my review. “My husband and I went to dinner with friends a few nights ago and we all decided that ice cream was needed for dessert. We Googled ice cream nearby and Handel's was suggested. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. You rarely see young kids these days that engage with people and can actually have conversations with adults. This was on 6/28/24 So thank you for such a delicious and fun treat!“

The soft serve was so milky, creamy and delicious. Also, the presentation was gorgeous.

Everything was excellent, the vibe was chill xcept it is so crowded in this block.

The gentleman working the front was very helpful, kind, friendly, and courteous. Just not very kids friendly.

“It is a small, nice, clean place. But I must say that it is a little more expensive than other places that sell the same products. Apparently their specialty is strawberries with cream because we ate there and everyone asked for strawberries with cream. I tried the strawberries with cream and they are very good but the nuts seem to be of very low quality or very old and that makes it take away from their signature dish. If you go, you should ask for them without nuts. Maybe we will come back to try some other different dishes.“

The store was blazing hot but the young lady with the blonde hair was running orders back and forth dripping with sweat and the girl with the messed up knee was taking orders plus making the treats fast and efficiently. “Came across this place while I was in the area. Went in and ordered a mangonada from the kiosk. The dessert was very good with a lot of mango and ice cream. The place is really cool. The seats in the middle were a nice touch, though a bit too tall. Lots of options like drinks, ice cream, and other food items. For those who are a bit hesitant because of the potential language barrier, the kiosk is in English and Spanish with pictures.“

“I rented a paleta cart for about 150 paletas. The price was reasonable and the fact you get it for 25 helps you make it back in time to return the cart once you're done. All the paletas were delicious! Everyone loved them at our Sweet 16! Thank you guys for making it memorable! Highly recommend them for the paleta carts and all their food and desserts!“
