“This was one of those “where have you been all my life” situations. I love the old fashioned feel of this place which makes me think of McDonald’s in the 90’s or other similar restaurants. The neon lights and the classic feel would look great during a ring day or during the snow. The crinkled fries were great but the chicken tenders were fantastic. Plus the chocolate frozen yogurt was delicious. Lastly, the service was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. I highly enjoyed eating here and has now been bettered in my top 5 most favorite fast food joints I’ve ever been to. Easily a 4.5/5 ranking from my personal experience.“

“My husband and I went to dinner with friends a few nights ago and we all decided that ice cream was needed for dessert. We Googled ice cream nearby and Handel's was suggested. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in by a super sweet little smiling blonde and a group of other smiling, friendly teens. These kids seemed happy and excited to be there and eager to serve. We all got AMAZING ice cream and service and will be Handel's regulars for sure. My main reason for this review is for the owner to know what an AMAZING group of kids you have working this store. “Came here on a Saturday night for a small dessert after having dinner in the area. Parking was pretty hectic in the shopping plaza, but finally found a spot after driving around. Shop was also crowded, but line moves quickly.

Look for the self-service kiosks to the left when entering. People were waiting for their orders there, so was hard to see at first. Kiosks allows you to order and customize exactly how you want. You enter your name and they'll call it when ready.

Soft serve was pretty authentic to what you'd receive in Japan. Smooth and creamy, but not overly sweet. Good place to come for Japanese soft serve.“

“This place always seems pretty busy which is good sign. The ordering is on a big tablet and it’s easy. My favorite is the custard filling and they rotate ice cream flavors. I think the best way to do it is to get the upside down that way you can nibble at the taiyaki and soft serve at the same time … as opposed to the ah boong which looks super cute but will probably drip on your hand. They also have traditional taiyaki of course and I recommend getting the five pack and just trying out all the different flavors and see what you like.“

“It is a small, nice, clean place. But I must say that it is a little more expensive than other places that sell the same products. Apparently their specialty is strawberries with cream because we ate there and everyone asked for strawberries with cream. I tried the strawberries with cream and they are very good but the nuts seem to be of very low quality or very old and that makes it take away from their signature dish. If you go, you should ask for them without nuts. Maybe we will come back to try some other different dishes.“

“First time trying rice yogurt boba and decided to go with the classic: Purple Rice Yogurt.

The store is well decorated and cute. The owners are nice and friendly. The store is located around a central of other Asian stores, restaurants, and business. When I got my drink, it came in a cute little cup filled all the way to the top.

The drinks are a little on the pricer side and despite it being a small cup compared to regular boba shops, I found myself getting full on one cup alone (compared to a regular boba shop--one cup can be finished in 5 minutes and I'd crave more).

The drink was a little heavier compared to regular boba (because it is yogurt) and the yogurt was on the tartier side which I did not expect. The purple rice added a nice chewiness to the drink. I found myself having to chew in between sips to properly digest.

It's definitely unique if you are used to traditional boba milk tea albeit on the healthier side and if you can tolerate a little bit of tartiness.

I would come back and try their other items.

Edit: I tried another boba shop that sells purple rice yogurt and Yomie’s is definitely king! Yomie’s quality and quantity is definitely better. I can’t wait to come back and try another one of their items.“
