“I was in town for a VB tourney & found this place. I ordered 2 lunch plates, they were $9 each. Service was fast and foodwas good.The rice and ground beef could use more seasoning and the texture of our taco shells were a little stale, not crunchy.I would give this place a try again if we visit again.“

“Great value for your money. It's all home made. They're a little light on the seasoning but still five stars. They're very friendly and accommodating. Plus it's 3-4 minutes from the Taylor Samsung facility. Can't beat it for what I've found in Taylor so far. It's not a bunch of classically trained French chef's. This is Grandma's house. ?? “

“Stopped by after exploring The Loose Screw craft beer house in Old Taylor High. We ordered the Asada Mini Taco plate which comes with (5) and it's as authentic as it can be (if you know, you know). All you need is cilantro and onions and a bomb salsa! Flavor was on point but wish the salsa was a bit spicier (I love spicy so others may not). Tortillas were thin yet crispy. Would come again to try the rest! Can't beat the authenticity w/ the great and reasonable price.“

“The Bulldog Special breakfast burrito was amazing. The buttery eggs were cooked to perfection, and every bite was bursting with flavor. It had the perfect combination of ingredients, leaving me satisfied and craving more. Overall, a truly amazing culinary experience that I would highly recommend to anyone craving a delicious breakfast treat. You can’t beat the price as well.“

“Ok... 4 stars for food, service, and atmosphere. The food almost 5 stars. But, the price! You would be hard pressed to find this quality food at these prices anywhere else in Taylor. I recommend the Al Pastor tacos. Make sure to try their habanero salsa if your stomach can handle it, very flavorful! The fajita tacos are tasty and inexpensive. Most of the stuff on the menu is great, a few of the items are bland. Their chorizo is a bit bland.Parking: Big parking lot for that size establishmentKid-friendliness: Kid friendly.“

“We live in a small town with 3 Mexican restaurants, I'm 35 and this is by far the BEST Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I wish we lived closer. The staff was great the atmosphere was inviting and everything we ordered was fresh and homemade.“

“Don't let the big sign out front that says Luigi's Italian fool you. It's Monarchas! I been in Taylor for two years and have tried everything here besides the fried chicken drive throughs and the Stockade place...and this is hands down the best place to eat in town. Great Tex Mex, the burger is solid but you can skip the queso...it's too much like Nacho Cheese. Get the Queso Flamado instead. Great service and super quick! Yum!!“

“I have been coming here for over a year now and they have the best carnitas and fajitas in town. The environment is very welcoming, and everyone is very pleasant. I have had Sean, Mario, Tonya, Vanessa, and Evelyn as my servers and they always make you smile and laugh. They know the menu and can recommend some good dishes. They also make sure you get refills and that your food is out in good time. It’s also refreshing to be at a place and have the managers walk around and check in and see how you’re doing. Nicole and Carlos do an excellent job of making you feel like your family when you eat there. The few times I sat at the bar the bartenders do a great job with the drinks. Josh and Anna know how to make a good margarita. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family!!“

“The BEST taco salad I've ever eaten! Everything was delicious especially the beef fajitas meat. The restaurant is small and quaint with no atmospheric "bells and whistles." An intimate setting perfect for a quiet lunch/dinner. No pretense here; just down-home appeal!“
