“The sushi was ok. The fish was fresh. Just nothing amazed me. We also got shrimp tempura Udon. The udon itself was good but I can only taste pepper in the soup. Some of the carrots in the soup were tasty and tender and others were hard as raw ones. The sweet potato tempura were half tender and half hard(the middle). The service was good though.“

The Bao Bao starter was our favorite of the night, and our sushi was delicious and served quickly. The Adult Movie cocktail was a quirky choice (served with a small side of popcorn!) that I was pleasantly surprised by its smoky but citrus taste! The strawberry shooters with infused whipped cream were refreshing for dessert. We definitely plan to come back soon to try more!“

Aside from the food being worth returning for, the staff is exceptionally kind and professional. “The best sushi I’ve ever had! So many delicious choices on variety of foods. We ordered 4 rolls and each one was so fresh and tasty. Each roll was perfectly balanced in taste. My favorite roll was “riceless”Flower roll plate was decorated so creative! I ordered two of them! They simply melt in your mouth. We also ordered the salmon Belly over rice hand rolls. So buttery and rich! The wonton soups also delicious. The waitress Hena was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items and specials on the board. The General manager Audi, spoke to us at the end of the meal to see how everything went. He’s also very attentive and very customer service oriented. There were many sushi chefs there working, food was served quickly even though busy. I drink lots of water and it was constantly being filled without even asking.

“This is a great little sushi place. We've ordered from several places in the local area and definitely like this one the best. We've eaten here 4 or 5 times and are never disappointed. We have tried the Crunch Salmon, Super Crunch, Tornado, Cowboy, California Roll, and Green Hulk just to name a few. All were very delicious.“

“Highly recommend Sushi Damu in Flower Mound if you are looking for good quality AYCE sushi. Their raw stuffs are so fresh specially squid. I’ve tried squid sushi from many places, but squid here is better as it’s fresh, tasty, and not dry. Sushi rice has good quality too. It’s well-cooked, soft, not dry like other AYCE sushi. Plus rice portion is small. Their sushi rolls are tasty. I would recommend house salad, Ikura, scallop and seared salmon sushi as well as low-carb and spider roll.“

“Went for the first time for my birthday with my family. The food was so good! The chef at the hibachi was very funny and interactive. The other staff were friendly and everyone seemed happy to be there. We called to make a reservation so we would be guaranteed the hibachi experience. They also have a table dine in area that is very nice looking and next time we come we are going to sit there. Their prices are around what you would expect for hibachi and good sushi. We had a great time! We will be going back 100%!!!“

“Overall the food was good. The hibachi cooks do need training on cross contamination. My husband and I both ordered the vegetarian veggies and tofu hibachi. The cook started with the rice, then the chicken, and then the tofu, all cooking at the same time. He used the same utensils and cooked the tofu in the same spot as the chicken. At other hibachi places, they cook the tofu first as to not cross contaminate. It was also freezing cold at our table until the grill was started. It was super cold outside but they had cold air literally blowing at our seats. Just a few notes for improvement.“
