“This place has all the Mexican treats you love. Churros, agua frescas, ice cream, mangonadas, and lots more. They have board games to play, the staff is very sweet and helpful. The popsicles are delicious! Glad we found this place because I like supporting small family businesses. Great alternative to chain fast food 🫶“

“We went and got the Rusos (fruit drink in photo) and Diablito chico (small red slush). Both were so delicious! The Diablito is like an iced version of the deliciously tart Mexican candies you might’ve had growing up in school.The Ruso was fruity, sweet, tart, and refreshing.They have chips, drinks, ice cream, slushies, and more! I wish I would’ve had come here earlier to enjoy this spot!“

“I recently visited Dairy Queen in Alvarado, and I was incredibly impressed by the entire experience. The chicken finger basket was cooked to perfection – the chicken and fries were delicious, and the gravy was excellent.

The lobby was immaculate and spotless; it's clear this location is exceptionally well-maintained and has a sophisticated, welcoming look. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with utmost kindness and respect. The service was incredibly fast, taking maybe only two minutes, yet without compromising on quality. You can truly feel the dedication of the management and staff here.

Beyond the excellent food and service, I deeply appreciate that this Dairy Queen provides a free kids meal with the purchase of a combo on Mondays. This is a special that is done in Johnson county (Cleburne, Alvarado,Joshuaand etc) and is subject to change my location and availability in the future. This policy truly reflects a people-first and child-friendly attitude, demonstrating a genuine commitment to the community.

“Cold Stone Creamery is located in The Shops on Broad right off the 287 freeway, serving up delicious creamy ice cream and more such as candy apples, fudge, and chocolate pecan clusters!We came through on a weekday in the evening and waited roughly 5 minutes to be served due to the line from everyone wanting ice cream. Inside, there are tables and chairs to sit at and enjoy your dessert and also have restrooms on site as well. They have many menus posted up about their signature creations, which involve ice cream that is mixed with other ingredients such as cookies, sprinkles, and other various toppings. They also have a display case showcasing all the ice cream flavors they carry and are willing to give you any sample you would like. We went ahead and sampled the cotton candy and mint chocolate chip in which they tasted amazing but went ahead and ordered the Oreo overload, which consisted of double oreo cookies, chocolate chips and fudge in sweet cream. We also got the birthday cake remix, which was a cake batter ice cream with rainbow sprinkles, brownies, and fudge. We went ahead and got one in a waffle cone and the other in a cup.The ice cream was rich and creamy and definitely lived up to its name. It was packed with flavor, and the toppings played a tremendous role in the making. The brownie was nice and moist and complemented the cake batter, while the sprinkles gave a nice sugary taste in every bite. All of the staff and employees were super attentive and were eager to serve us. The store manager was even on site helping out getting the line moving and promoting their fabulous reward card program. Overall, it was definitely a sweet treat to have, and I'm looking forward to enjoying another one soon or maybe trying some of the candy apples, caramel, and fudge they also serve.“

“Shout out to Alyssa the manager at sonic on main! I went for a strange request. My Father has Alzheimer’s and has stopped eating. However, if I bring him sonic he’ll eat! The staff in memory care suggested getting the bags, French cups, and drinking cups to put his meals in as to possibly prevent more medication! I was willing to PAY FOR IT! Alyssa was very kind and gave us 20 sets!!! To the franchisee, keep this lady!!! Also wanted to let Midlothian know how truly caring your staff is!!! Thank you Alyssa!!! P.S. she also brought out dome lids for the cups I forgot to ask her for!!! That’s why we love living in a “SMALL TOWN” we take care of each other! “Every time I start my order it seems like I am interrupted and can't finish my order. I even had to tell the lady if I could finish ordering because she was giving me my total. That is so annoying being rushed. We try to have orders ready to go before pushing the button but when you have kids, things change.“
