“I met the owner of the restaurant at my job. Took a look at the photos online and we decided to order lunch. Wow what a pleasant surprise! The Baja fish tacos were on point reminded me of my childhood in California. My coworker got the Beria tacos, he’s a foodie and they had him raving all day. We also shared ceviche so fresh!!! all the flavors were hittin! I will be recommending this spot to everyone I meet!“

“I have eaten at this Taqueria 3 days in a row. The Shrimp quesadilla is juicy and delicious, I am craving it often. I can't wait to be back for another dinner under the wisteria in bloom. The service was outstanding, and the outdoor patio was very pleasing as well in the spring. Highly recommended if you are in Midlothian.“

“I love Costa Vida! Being from Idaho, I was afraid I would never be able to enjoy Costa Vida sweet pork once I moved to Texas. I’m so glad I found this location and it doesn’t disappoint. One meal is reasonably priced and well portioned. I personally love the salads because the cilantro ranch dressing is to die for. Make sure to grab some horchata and chips & guac while you’re at it. The employees were all very nice, quick to prepare our food, and very helpful with any questions. Can’t wait to come back whenever the craving hits!“

“I have always eaten the best breakfast burritos in America in Soither California for 32 years. Afyer movong to Dallas, this is the first hispanic eatery that actually makes true breakfast burritos. Made with mexican-style potatos, eggs, pico de gallo and chorizo. It was delicious. The service was great too. Will be back again. Finally found my hispanic food joint!“

“I'm from harlingen Texas the far south , I frequently visit Mexico quite a bit and I have to say that since living up in North Texas in dfw I miss home sometimes and this place feels like home. The food is some of the best legit Mexican food I have had in a long time. I drive about 45 minutes just to eat here it is that good ? the atmosphere is home. Eat some al pastor tacos ? they are so good. I give this place , its service and it's employees ?????“

“Definitely will be back. Love the authentic flavor. The salsa is actually spicey. The chips were fresh. Everything was great. The only thing I didn't like was the walls and doors were so filthy. I mean, even a blind person could see this. It's bad. And spider webs everywhere, so yea dust everywhere as well. The floor and tables were clean, though, which is most important, but the booth we were sitting in the wall was horrible. I do not expect everything to be spotless, considering it's a small home like place and not overpriced. But I am picky with the bathroom. The door was so dirty. But anyways.. You want something close to your mom's kitchen. This is the place.“

“We went and got the Rusos (fruit drink in photo) and Diablito chico (small red slush). Both were so delicious! The Diablito is like an iced version of the deliciously tart Mexican candies you might’ve had growing up in school.The Ruso was fruity, sweet, tart, and refreshing.They have chips, drinks, ice cream, slushies, and more! I wish I would’ve had come here earlier to enjoy this spot!“

Food was excellent. Service was quick in comparison to the amount of orders they were putting out. Atmosphere was good. Only drawback was the limited seating inside the establishment.

“Really wanted to try this place. The website and fb both say they close at 9 pm. I called at approximately 4 pm Saturday 11-12-22 to place a to go order to be told they were closed for the day.“

My 3 year old loves the food (rice and beans with carnitas taco). They speak English and Spanish.*El lugar es limpio y la comida es muy Rica. Las carnitas son mis favoritas. “I believe the prices are right for the size and amount of meat they give you. Most of the time the tacos here are great, sometimes the carne asada can be a bit over seasoned or the green salsa may be a bit salty but overall we love their tacos! Hands down best tacos in the area.Great place for a quick bite of Mexican food with handmade tortillas! Their tortas are really good as well. And don’t forget to grab your coke which just completes the whole meal!“

“This location always has the biggest portions! The only thing I'd say to improve on is friendly service. They have a revolving door of help here and the help rarely smiles and never really show any friendly emotions. Service with a smile would be much appreciated“
