“Almost everything about my visit to Vaqueros was five star, even though I didn't really care for the particular burrito option that I ordered.
I went in craving a typical breakfast burrito (eggs, potatoes, and some selection of meat), but ended up going with the machaca out of curiosity.
The flavor was good and it was fresh tasting and filling-a little too filling.
This burrito is 95% meat, maybe 3% onions and peppers, and the rest is cheese. The tortilla is nicely toasted and fresh tasting as well.
I would call this a 'manly meal'. For me it was just too much meat.
The service was great and the ingredients were fresh, so I will definitely consider going back for either a typical breakfast burrito or one of the other dishes.
The agua fresca melon drink was okay. I'm pretty sure it's not fresh made from melon, but instead made from a concentrate mix, which is okay.
Overall I had a good experience here and would recommend it to others looking for freshly made Mexican food, prepared quickly, by friendly people.
I ate about half of my burrito, which was enough to fill me up for a day of dog walking.

I also ordered a side of refried beans. They were quite bland. That's the only reason why I did not get five stars for the food.“

“My food is still always fast, fresh, and delicious. I have been coming to this location around 20 years. Highly recommend, and I stop anytime I pass by. Way better than any other fast food taco joint. Get the Chilli burger(taco burger) and make sure to get extra sauce. Also great nachos if you like upgraded ball park nachos.“

“This location is a taco truck, and they are clean inside, but they sit outside of a Valero station, which is not the best atmosphere. Yet the food was good and reasonable. You can even call in your orders. Referred by a friend. It did live up to their experience.“
