“I’m from a border town, and this is one of the few places that reminds me of the food back home. It’s authentic, and tastes like a home cooked meal that i would have with my own family back home. I appreciate how the tortillas are made fresh, and the place definitely has one of the best carne guisadas and enchiladas in the area. I don’t even live in Wimberley (it’s about a hour away from where i live) but whenever i pass by, i make sure to stop by here. The place seems to be family owned and operated, which i think is really great too. The waitress I had the last time i went was young, but she was incredibly nice and did her job well, asking if we needed anything extra and so on. I made sure to tip her well, as we were checking out, and while i put the money in the tip jar, the young man at the register wanted to make sure our waitress got her tip directly which i think was very kind of him. The community of Wimberley is lucky to have such a great, and delicious, hidden gem in their beautiful town.“

“The breakfast tacos at Mimas Tacos to go are delicious. You can pretty much create your own with a wide variety of meats (the chorizo sausage is delicious), eggs, cheese, veggies, etc. plus a small salsa bar to add any zing you might want. If breakfast is this good I’m sure lunch and dinner versions are great too! Great food, fast and friendly service.“

“Best Migos taco in town. It would be super fantastic if the outside window could be used for phone in/pickup orders. It kind of defeats the purpose of taking orders over the phone when we have to go in and stand in line anyway. Thanks for the consideration.“
