“This is one of my favorite spots in Waco! The owners Armando and Courtney are awesome. They definitely know their wine and have a top notch selection of Spanish and other wines from around the world. The food, prepared by Chef Armando, is delicious! Traditional Spanish dishes that never miss! They offer live music most nights, and the overall vibe is great. It is definitely a must for anyone looking for a place to hang or even bring a date downtown. 5 stars! Cheers!“

“I'm a huge fan of this coffee shop and have been coming every Friday to work on homework since I moved to Waco to pursue a PhD. The staff here are incredibly friendly and make some great vanilla Lattes. The music and atmosphere gears me up to grind on my homework.“
“When I finished eating, I wanted to go back for seconds and thirds. It was so good but I was so full so I elected to call it. Wow! The 50-50 chicken bulgogi with onion cukes and cilantro and the siracha sauce was incredible! Some of the best food I've had in a long time. I especially liked their take on the chicken vs beef bulgogi. It added a really nice texture that I haven't seen before in other Korean food. This place is a must try!“

“I have eaten at Tejun several times. I always enjoy the food. Only issue I have is the butter to corn on the cob ratio. Now I loooove butter. But I don't want it running through my veins. I usually get the boiled shrimp, which is always excellent and the potatoes are perfectly cooked, good butter to potato ratio there.👍 Spices are 👌, not too overwhelming so I can still taste the flavor of the food. Except the corn.“
“Not ready to be done for the day after exploring Waco, I crossed the bridge to Brotherwell. This is a brewery and they sometimes have a food truck. No food truck today, which was just as well, as I was well stuffed with tacos from earlier.
A bit industrial and bare but they have a few tables inside and a few tables outside. I was inside and chose one of their beers, sitting at a table near a power outlet. No air conditioning other than a few high speed fans so a hot/humid day might be a challenge. Another beer and two hours later, I was ready to call it a day.
Tripel, Radler, Wheat, Hazy IPA, American IPA, Porter, Irish Red and a Hazy Pale. The "Wacotown" was my choice and it was pretty tasty. Prices are reasonable at between $5.50 and $7.00 for a pint. They'll pull a pitcher if you prefer. I believe you can bring your own food if you want.“

“Immediate takeaway - the absolute most creative coffee stand. It's in a vintage elevator! Simple, elegant, quirky, one-barista Cafe. Great drink selection for the size and resources available. The barista seemed to be a bit distant, not the warmest, but, may have been me. Drinks were well timed, but the dirty chai I got was not sweet at all, surprisingly. Not the worst, just unexpected for the flavor. Overall, a great little place in a historic building with cool vibes and good brews.“

“I am diabetic with food allergies, and the Tax Firm I work for had their Admin Day lunch here yesterday. I had spoken to Ishmael last week to make sure they were able to work with my dietary restrictions. Ishmael and his staff went above and beyond, in my opinion. I had no problems and was able to enjoy excellent chicken fajitas in an amazing environment. Many, many thanks to everyone for working with me.“
