“The food here is truly something else. I’ve never been to a restaurant with as much variety, and I have always had an appreciation for more ‘tropical’ foods (and this fits the bill!)
It’s more affordable than most other restaurants these days and I would love to come again to try everything else the wonderful staff has to offer. Tabitha was especially amazing, she was so courteous and made us feel welcome. I’ve never been smiled at so genuinely, and it really made Rumbi feel like a safe, peaceful place to be.“

“Have an open mind, know that it is more like a Bistro Restaurant with proteins, sides and salads. My wife I were up in Salt Lake from Ca, for General Conference and decided to stop in. We came at a slow time and Hy was prepping the prime rib for the evening. We asked a few questions before we were seated and he offered us a taste the prime rib with the horseradish, Note: I can’t stand Horseradish, but I was blown away by his. We asked for recommendations and listen as he described the different mains and the sides and we made a choice. I had the prime rib (w/a side of Horseradish) and my wife had the fish. As we waited for our food to be prepared, we walked around the inside of the restaurant and were taken back by the decor, it match the out side, quit interesting. Our food arrived and it was beyond what we have had in any restaurant back in Oceanside or Carlsbad Ca. We finished the meal and we were able to continue to talk with Hy about the location, the vibe, finding out he grows majority of his vegetables that he uses, in the back lot of the property. He then gave us an impromptu cooking class using his special blend of spices and seasonings, that he has for sale in the restaurant and on Amazon too as it turns out! We tasted some of the best roasted chicken in cream sauce, prime rib with his southwestern spice mix! All and all our experience was beyond a doubt, very enjoyable. Granted not everyone will have the experience my wife and I had, but Hy was very pleasant and yes, very focused on his work of prepping, cooking, over seeing the students that worked in his restaurant.“

“I have been gluten free for about 1.5 years and was so excited to hear there was a gluten free bakery only 30 minutes away from me! I purchased their gluten free bread, orange roll and muddy buddy cookie. The gluten free bread is one of the best loaves of gluten free bread I have tried. Even my gluten eating husband agreed. I cut it up when I got home and put the slices in the freezer. They defrosted very well! The orange roll is amazing, too! My grandma used to make orange rolls growing up so it was so nostalgic and delicious when I heated it up in the microwave for about 20 seconds. The cookie was good, too. Overall, I was very impressed by the quality of the food and how delicious everything tasted. The only downside was how expensive it was. I paid $28 for those 3 items but also I’m not surprised because everyone who eats gluten free (by choice or out of necessity) knows it’s not cheap.“

“We had a fantastic experience at Rodizio Grill! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service made the whole meal even better.

A huge shoutout to our waiter, Leo! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. His positive attitude and excellent customer service really stood out and made our visit memorable.

If you're dining here, we definitely recommend asking for Leo. We'll absolutely be back!“

“4.5 stars -- the bread & butter service (a few bucks additional), whipped brie, and seafood pasta were all mind-blowingly, lipsmacking good. But my husband's rose pasta was just so-so -- both of us thought it was a bit disappointing, especially as the waiter said it was their specialty, but it really wasnt that good, and we didn't even felt the need to finish it. Everything else was spectacular thought, including the atmosphere and service. We'll definitely return if we're in the area again, but just avoid the rose pasta.“

“It’s been a while since we been to Squatters. We decided to go for dinner after a show.
I don’t know if I recommend the Pretzel appetizer, it wasn’t that great, but the Ahi Tuna Salad and Fish & Chips were amazing. The waiters and staff were super friendly and welcoming.“

“I think that Ruth’s Chris steakhouse is my most favorite and most popular restaurant for me to go there and eat really good food from there and my favorite food from there was there chicken breast and mashed potatoes and lobster bisque soup and hot buttery rolls and chocolate cake for dessert and it was really good and delicious and I would totally eat it all again and touring the restaurant with the owner and meeting the staff was also a fun experience to also and if I were to rate the restaurant on a scale of one to ten I would definitely give it a solid ten out of ten rating from my time visiting the restaurant and I would totally recommend the restaurant to anyone who would like to go to the restaurant to eat there and enjoy the experience there !!“

“Tonight my family went to Manoil’s. Wow. What a joy. I can’t recall what these dishes were called so beautifully on the menu—but I’ve tried my best in being simple in describing them. “Gluten free not by choice and always ecstatic to find a safe gluten free bakery. I got the cinnamon bread, cinnamon muffin and cinnamon roll. All were delicious so the next day I went back for another muffin and roll. It has been nothing but delicious food and great, positive vibes from the woman who has helped me both days. I felt very welcome here (especially being from out of town) and did not get sick due to their strict enforcement of no cross contamination.“

Josh was super friendly and great to work with to get everything organized - we had a lot of last second changes and they were so flexible! Great option in the area. “100% RECOMMEND! This is our favorite place to eat in PSL! The food is unique and fresh, the restaurant and bathrooms are clean, and the customer service is the best! Once you’ve been there a couple of times they remember you and pretty much know what your “usual” is. Dennis, the owner, has been there a few times when we were there and he always comes over to say “thank you for coming in.” He even covered our bill one time when he found out we are Veterans. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE ZEST KITCHEN!“

“sawadee has some of the best Thai/curry in salt lake. I was disappointed when I visited last Saturday. I do not have the opportunity to get to this location often and it usually has to be on a Saturday. I just found out that they are no longer offering the lunch menu on Saturday. The lunch menu is my favorite because I could enjoy two smaller portions of different dishes instead of one larger dish. please bring back your lunch menu on the weekend!“

“This was an amazing dinner! The place came highly rated by my Uber driver as the best Thai food in SLC and it did not disappoint. I had the curry and it was delightfully seasoned and graciously served. The taste was nothing short of delicious and our waitress was sweet and helpful. “I don’t eat that much, but I felt like A good Greek sandwich. Upon arrival, I noticed the lobby pretty full. I also noticed it pretty clean and as I always do and most Restaurants for a quick inspection, I go to the restroom first before ordering food.

“10/10 experience. Very inviting and cozy atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Clean as a whistle too! Aside from the cat decorations in the cafe area you’d never guess they have animals in the building from the smell or the hair level. Lightning fast service and very yummy consumables if you’re just there for a drink and a snack. The staff I met were very patient and helpful. The cats are very well cared for and it shows in their friendliness and grooming. I adopted a Maine Coon with my husband this weekend and not only was the process smooth, but the cat himself was very healthy and had a well maintained coat(for the uninitiated Maine Coons are very susceptible to matting of the fur around their butt and tummy). Overall incredible experience and so so well run especially for a small business. I will be stopping by to pet the cats and get a latte every time i’m in Salt Lake. -Joel :]“

“My wife and I are in our nineties so we don't eat much. The spaghetti and meatballs here are delicious with large helpings.
We asked for one serving with an extra plate, knife and fork. The pretty young woman graciously obliged.
The restaurant was clean, food was good and we will go there again.“

“Just stopped in on a layover and thank you Gourmandise! I just wanted to grab a healthy snack; the avocado toast on a baguette was excellent! The baguette was soft and fresh and the flavors were perfectly crafted. I also ordered a caramel coconut milk latte and it was so smoothe and lovely. They also had soooo many desert offerings, but I opted out this morning and will return sometime down the road......Highly recommend!“
