“It’s a fun, high energy atmosphere. The staff is top notch! They know what they’re doing, and they’re very personable. The people working here always seem to be in good moods. I love the food! If you can’t decide between rice, or noodles in your bowl- you can have both! Go with half and half! They are really generous with portions. I ask for extra shredded carrots and broccoli and they give it to me- no grumpy vibes- and no extra charge. There are so many great menu options that anyone can find something that will be to their liking. I love the chicken pot stickers, the braised tender- slow roasted pork. You will love it!“

“We order Zao quarterly for CE classes. Everyone always loves the food, it's delicious. The catering team is awesome, and everything is always accurate. It's nice to have a go to for larger groups that isn't a sandwich option.“

“Greeted with a smile, ordered the tiff bow with extra Edamame, chicken teriyaki bowl, the kids chicken bowl, and one medium drink spent about $43. All of it was cooked and prepared to perfection in less than 10 minutes. It was a big portion of food, was able to take home leftovers. Bathrooms available for men and women in the back. Will definitely be returning.

“Service was fantastic. The food was beautifuly presented. The selection of rolls is great. The flavor of the rolls I ordered; I can only describe as a beautiful sensation of flavors and textures. I'm talking about, take my breath away type of experience. Best sushi I've had in my lifetime. Highly recommend eating here!“

“Oh my gosh this place is phenomenal! Not only is the Sushi rolled fresh for every order, the customer service is amazing! The lady who took our order was very nice, friendly and quick on her feet. Our order was delivered right to our table. And it was presenters to us in the way you'd expect it to be delivered to royalty. I highly recommend giving them a try. You won't regret it.“

“I was so pleasantly surprised at how delicious this place was! Their chicken was crispy yet juicy and well flavored and the ttobokki was amazing! My husband got the kimchi rice which was delicious and we also got the mango snowflake desert which was so big and delicious big enough for all 4 of us to enjoy! The staff was great and welcoming and attentive. I love this place and can’t wait to return!!“

“Update: I will no longer tip at this establishment after seeing a male worker grab a handful of tips out of the tip jar for his own pocket. It reminds me of another place who would keep tips for themselves.
The current type of tofu they offer doesn't taste great. Some sauces are too spicy or have an artificial taste. Other than that it's good for abc style food.
Good, it was medium sized, they could have been more generous with the vegetables in the dish. The food tastes pretty good. Next time I'll order the noodles. They could improve their drink selection the most.“

“We came here for a Valentine’s date. Our meal was pretty pricey, but you get what you pay for. This was probably one of my favorite meals I’ve had in Salt Lake City. I felt like our server could’ve been a little more attentive, but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt during a busy Valentine’s weekend! I’ll definitely be back for a special occasion.“

“Been wondering about this place for awhile so popped in for quick take out - Bulgogi Beef K-Pop Fries 😮💨 I knew they were gunna be good but they were REALLY good. “The fried tofu at 7.5 spice is very mild. Good flavor, but if you're looking for more heat I'd say 9 is a better option. It's closer to Sriracha, but not too spicy yet. The apple and strawberry flavored milkies are also pretty good and not odd tasting. The Korean corn dogs are best served with corn flakes, and the all cheese weighs a decent amount. Overall, good value and the taste is worth the price.“

“We stopped by the Soy Sushi Bar and Grill for dinner, 4927 S State St, Murray, UT 84107 on the trip to visit my friend in Salt Lake City from my home town, Irvine, California . We have an opportunity to enjoy a great dinner, very fresh sashimi platter, playboy roll, seafood fried rice… We are surprise that in a small town like this place , we are able to find a great Japanese food that is as great as the Taiko Restaurant in My home town in Southern California …“

“Everything I've tried here has been so good, with really fresh ingredients-- fresh vegetables, fresh basil, etc. My favorite so far is the panang curry, however I also have a weakness for the sticky rice with mango (I don't know where they find their mangoes but theirs are way better than any that I can find!) The service has always been fantastic as well. I come here when I've had a hard week and I need some good food and a friendly vibe to keep me going:)“
