“I live in Colorado and never heard of Alpha Coffee. I visited Salt Lake City, and friend recommended we meet at the downtown location. I ordered an "Aztec" and it was great. Something different, new and tasty for me. I liked the drink, the vibe and the servers ... the whole experience was great! I look forward to my next visit to SLC. I'll stop at Alpha again - to try the Poly! :)“

“We recently ate here on a visit from Southern California. The food was very good, service not very attentive. Biggest complaint is that we were charged for refills on iced tea, which our friend from the area said had not happened on his previous visits. We didn't notice until studying the receipts afterwards. So beware!“

“It's a little confusing that the pho place is inside a restaurant with a different name (Saola), but the pho was excellent, and they had a ton of options of things to add to it. They make fried dough sticks here, and they are so good dipped in broth!“

“This is a place I'll definitely keep saved for any future visits to the area! Great variety on the menu for all tastes. The pancakes our large enough to share and looked fluffy delicious. We went for lunch and the 3 of us ordered a burger, huevos dish and a rueben. Everything was fresh tasting as well as yummy to the eyes. The servers are friendly but the cost was incredibly reasonable to this Californian. Quaint & delicious.“

“Slackwater is a good choice due to the variety of options. This downtown location was very busy. They were almost going to close and it was still extremely busy.

Since it was late, I wasn't able to.get more of their marinara or something else because the kitchen was already closed.

The selection was great and the recommendation was incredible. I tried a little from every person and it was all very good.

“If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The food is amazing, the portions were plentiful, and the service was spectacular! They were so kind and attentive. We arrived in a rain storm and they went out of their way to accommodate us and make us comfortable. This was an A+++ experience.“

“Went to this restaurant for our 9th wedding anniversary. It's price range varies from $45-$85 per entree but definitely lives up to the hype. I had the citrus butter cast iron Alaskan halibut and a side of grilled cauliflower with garlic herb sauce, and a Beehive jack rabbit Gin Commander cocktail. My husband got the Wagyu hanger 8 0z steak, mashed potatoes, and The Espolon Tequila Hefe cocktail. For dessert we got the churros drizzled with raspberry sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream to share. Our waiter Kaden was excellent and on top of things, Jose was our busser and was very prompt, professional, and kind, and the chef was excellent and got our food out in a reasonable amount of time. “Mr’s D’s has the freshest veggies and the best broth out of all the personal hot pot restaurants in the city.

I was blown away by how delicious and refreshing the soup base is, they're light, not heavy or oily, and is made in-house. The veggies and meats are fresh and taste amazing. My sausages were cut into shapes of tiny octopus which was adorable. The sauce station, snacks, and the free rice are an added bonus as well.

I've stopped by once every other week, even when as the weather gets warmer. This is such a great spot and a hidden gem!“

“We stopped in with three grumpy kids and left with three very happy ones! The frozen yogurt was delicious, and I really appreciated that everything was clearly labeled, making it easy to find dairy-free and vegan options. It was also very reasonably priced for our family of four.

The woman working (I believe she's the owner) truly made the experience. She was so warm, attentive, and welcoming, and I loved that she encouraged the kids to enjoy the toys and games while we were there. Her kindness made us feel right at home.

“I came here on a whim with 5 other people and the food made a alright day great. My only complaint was they only had bottled sodas but they also give you a glass with ice and a straw with the glass bottle. I haven't really been to a place where the staff isn't nice but the customer service here really stood out to me. The atmosphere is good and that's coming from someone who doesn't care about atmosphere at all. For all 6 of us getting food the bill was around 120$ but for a smaller group/paying for your own food it would definitely be more affordable“
