“What a delicious little mom and pop shop to come have lunch! The soup is delicious. If you enjoy tomato soup, their tomato rice soup is as good as it gets. It's creamy and packed with flavor. Their sandwiches are always made fresh, the bun is warm, and the cheese is melted to perfection. What really stands out at this restaurant is their fresh cut french fries. Hands down the best fries in town. Definitely my favorite fries I've ever had. The salad bar always has fresh veggies and great dressing. “I came here for the first time after hearing good things. I got a small Pho 34 and it was amazing. Large portion too. They bring toppings (soy sprouts, basil, green spicy chiles and lime), I wish they bright out cilantro too. The broth was delicious and there was plenty of meat in my bowl. I will definitely come back for the soup.I also got a banh mi (pork baguette) to go and it was OK. It only had pork a some carrots and maybe another vegetable. No cilantro, no jalapeño :( it was good, just kind of lacking some kick.The service was fast, the food came out quickly and hot. “I hadn’t been to this restaurant for many years. Tonight we tried two dinner combinations. The chicken with snow peas, beef chow mien, ham fried rice, fried shrimp, cream cheese wontons, hot and sour soup and egg drop soup were all great and much better than I remember them being in the past. In fact the only item that I didn’t think was excellent was the egg roll. It had a bit of an odd flavor. Service was friendly and the prices were fair.“

“I have never been to this zupas location until today. I always come to a zupas when I visit my daughter. Today, a young man named Alan helped me (I made sure to get his name because he was so nice and smiled the whole time!) He suggested I try some new roasted chicken rice bowl and it is my new favorite! (Yes, above the turkey bacon avocado sandwich I usually get) I'm going to try to come to this location every time now even if just for the customer service!“
“I had the SKS sandwich and I added avocado. It was very good. The cheese soup with broccoli and carrots and the vegetable beef soup were very good too. Service was fast and friendly. The prices seemed fair. The building could use a new awning and sign because they are very weathered.“

“One of the best viet spots in SLC, never had a bad meal here and even friends from our of town love it. Menu is very extensive with so many options to choose from. My favorites are the roast chicken (fried basically) egg noodles soup, wonton and cha siu egg noodles soup, and combination rice dish are all great. The sweet and savory mini pancake shrimp with coconut milk is really good and not found in many places. Def recommend when in the area, with many other food and dessert options in the chinatown supermarket complex.“

Love that they have a ton of healthy and delicious options, and especially love the chocolate-dipped strawberries they give you with your meal. They move quickly so great for a fast nourishing meal - main downside is the quantity of food you get is much smaller than what is shown on their menu pictures. 6 of us ate here - a mixture of bowls and pick 2 soup/salad/sandwich, and most of us left hungry.“
“I used to live in Salt Lake for three years and Zupas was always my favorite winter go to. I used to think it was on the pricier side compare to other food here, but compared to other cities it's right on target. My major problem here is that I have trouble picking one kind of soup. Mushroom, tomato basil, lobster bisque, Wisconsin cauliflower. Ugh. Honestly, I can't vouch for salads and sandwiches because I always walk right past and head for the soup!Even though I have a bit of PTSD (don't ask) when I come back to SLC (rarely), I absolutely must stop at a Zupas even if it is 100 degrees out!! It's that good. Plus, the chocolate covered strawberry at the end is a nice touch.“

“The food here is always great, but the service is usually slow. And don't bother with curbside pickup. I've learned to go inside and then still waited 30-45 minutes past the estimated pickup time. Even when not busy this location is consistently slow, especially for pickup orders, though they seem to have hired some new employees who are faster and friendlier than those from previous visits, so wait times may improve.“
