His boss was accessible & warm. Plus they ran a good tag team. This was the best restaurant service that we have received in years! “Great meal last night. Crispy Pork Belly was amazing and a generous portion. Followed up with Fire Roasted Maitaki Mushrooms and a glass of Nebbiolo. Rye Boulevardier (a Negoni with whiskey) for a night cap. All delicious. Friendly yet prompt and professional service. Chatted with sommelier Katie about the awesome wine program. Beautiful space. Wil be back next time in SLC.“

“My favorite lunch spot in SLC, and now they've got weekly sandwich specials! The prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of food you'll get, and the fresh lemonade is always a massive plus. The menu is varied enough that you'll never get bored or tired of what they have to serve.“

“We are in our nineties and have been married over 70 years. We like to go to the Soup Kitchen to get a good bowl of homemade soup once in a while. We are welcomed and treated like family. We usually get a couple of quarts to take home. Good soup!

“My gf and I were looking for a new Chinese restaurant last night and were fortunate to find this place. Our meal was amazing- she got the Pon Pon Chicken dinner and I had the Mongolian beef. It was hot , fresh and way above our expectations. The cream cheese wontons were fantastic- definitely not the frozen ones we’ve had elsewhere. We both highly recommend Mountain City!!“

“This location is always great. Even if its super busy, a little hack to skip the line is usually to just go sit at the bar, where the drinks are also reasonably priced. The never ending breaksticks soup and salad is a meal on its own. Fresh tasting seafood and steak in their dishes which I wouldnt have expected.“

“I stopped by for lunch on a Wednesday and didn't have to wait for a table. The food was hot and delicious and came out quickly! Kyle was my server and he was kind and helpful! There are plenty of seats, with booths or tables available. The atmosphere is good for chatting with friends or dining alone! Everything was very clean too.“

“Got some chicken noodle soup for my girlfriend here because she wasn’t feeling well. It was super fast and the made from scratch soup was delicious. Big points! And the split pea soup I got for myself was hearty without being too salty. I’ll be back soon to dine in (sandwiches and the clam chowder looked awesome)“

“I've been converted into a regular at this location! The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The new General Manager warmly greeted us personally. The food came out very quickly, was hot, visually appealing, and absolutely delicious. The salad, breadsticks, Margarita Chicken, and Pumpkin Cookie Butter Cheesecake - all home runs! I don't recall ever walking out of a restaurant with such a big smile.“

“First time coming to Rice King Express. We ordered Kung Pao chicken, Curry chicken, and Egg Foo Yung. Portions were large for the price and all tasted excellent. Great flavor! Could use I little more spice for our taste. We'll definitely be back!“

“This is a very mild recommendation. SLC past TSA was clean and easy to walk around in, plus I found some decent vegan food options. The huge problem I had was that I was meeting someone else shortly after I landed, knew when her flight was due to land, but there are NO arrivals boards until you exit security. Ridiculous! I would have walked around in the terminal and probably bought something (vegan) to eat, but after asking multiple staff, I did have to exit security to see if her flight was on time, and it certainly wasn't worthwhile to attempt to go back through TSA to have a better place to walk, eat and wait. The area outside security was full of rushing people, there was nothing I'd have eaten, and I didn't in the least enjoy waiting for my friend.“

“I had THE BEST experience at the South Jordan store!!! It was a bit of a frazzled, chaotic day for me and I was so lucky to be served by Chenice who was the most attentive, kind, helpful, sweet, darling girl ever!!! Coming from food and beverage industry, I know an exceptional, quality individual, and she embodies all of it!

“This is by far my favorite place to eat in the SLC airport. Healthy, fresh, TASTY! That’s a hard combo to find, especially in an airport. My wife and I eat whole-food plant-based and Garbanzo has just what we need. To our vegan friends, Garbanzo has you covered! Can get a little backed up when only 1 person is working, so build time. Worth it!“

“AWESOME small business. We stumbled into this alternative to all the typical chain fast food places off the interchange in Murray - Go here instead! WOW. Great food, friendly place, really nice people. This is exactly the kind of local business we should all be supporting in our communities, rather than the generic chain places. Please give it a try. We loved the red curry and pad Thai but want to try more stuff on the menu.“
