“I made a reservation for lunch for four as we were spending a leisurely lunch with friends visiting from Colorado...the cafe hours are 11-3. I knew the weather would be hot as the day progressed so I booked the outdoor reservation for 11:30...our table was located perfectly for a view of the garden landscape...Jen is a hostess skilled in the art of customer service...tables are beautifully set and the patio furniture is high end quality...(indoor dining is also nicely appointed)...the menu has a variety of options including vegetarian choices...salads, sandwiches, and one soup option...beverages include soft drinks and flavored lemonades...and dessert are delicious!...we lingered and enjoyed this beautiful setting without being rushed away...we shall return!...“
“What a delicious little mom and pop shop to come have lunch! The soup is delicious. If you enjoy tomato soup, their tomato rice soup is as good as it gets. It's creamy and packed with flavor. Their sandwiches are always made fresh, the bun is warm, and the cheese is melted to perfection. What really stands out at this restaurant is their fresh cut french fries. Hands down the best fries in town. Definitely my favorite fries I've ever had. The salad bar always has fresh veggies and great dressing. “I hadn’t been to this restaurant for many years. Tonight we tried two dinner combinations. The chicken with snow peas, beef chow mien, ham fried rice, fried shrimp, cream cheese wontons, hot and sour soup and egg drop soup were all great and much better than I remember them being in the past. In fact the only item that I didn’t think was excellent was the egg roll. It had a bit of an odd flavor. Service was friendly and the prices were fair.“

“I have never been to this zupas location until today. I always come to a zupas when I visit my daughter. Today, a young man named Alan helped me (I made sure to get his name because he was so nice and smiled the whole time!) He suggested I try some new roasted chicken rice bowl and it is my new favorite! (Yes, above the turkey bacon avocado sandwich I usually get) I'm going to try to come to this location every time now even if just for the customer service!“

“One of the best viet spots in SLC, never had a bad meal here and even friends from our of town love it. Menu is very extensive with so many options to choose from. My favorites are the roast chicken (fried basically) egg noodles soup, wonton and cha siu egg noodles soup, and combination rice dish are all great. The sweet and savory mini pancake shrimp with coconut milk is really good and not found in many places. Def recommend when in the area, with many other food and dessert options in the chinatown supermarket complex.“

“Today I visited Zupas in Fort Union. It was my first time at this location and it was a wonderful experience. I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome. The employee who helped me with my order, was so kind and attentive to my requests.I ordered a Wisconsin Cauliflower soup to go. The soup was delicious. If you know me, you know I love soup. Lol. I appreciated how thick it was and how it tasted so good. I also loved how it wasn't "broken". Cream soups can be hard to make because they can become wattered down or separated. This one was perfect! I highly recommend ordering the soup at this location. My compliments to the soup chef.“

“Sweet Tomatoes/Souplantation is BACK! I couldn't believe it, down to the very placement and order of ingredients on the salad bar. Makes me wonder if it is owned by the previous Sweet Tomatoes franchisee and the NDA/Non-Compete has expired, or something. The only difference I found was the blueberry muffins were a bit more 'doughy' than I recall, but that's easily explained by it being an off-day. Everything else was spot on! I've missed this place SO much, it's now back on my dinner rotation!“
