“We had a great experience at Swizzle! First of all we must have gone at a great time because there was no wait and we were at the window very quickly. Ava, who helped us, was darling with my kids and patient as they were describing what they wanted. She got all items in our order right and the swizzle sticks (hot scones) were ready fast and fresh. I didn't feel it was very expensive compared to other Soda shops. I think if you frequent these types of places you know what you are getting into $ wise. Ultimately was really impressed with Ava and so grateful for her patience and non annoyance/rush with my kids. She deserves a raise! :)

“I can’t say enough about these cookies! I was in SLC on a mini vacation and stumbled upon the store while exploring. I am a cookie fanatic so I had to stop in. These cookies are heaven! And the sample size was a whole quarter of the cookies! They aren’t too sweet, the flavors are creative and all work well (who would have thought a butternut squash cookie would be so good), perfectly baked. I took a dozen home with me last night. There are only crumbs left lol“

“The park cafe is my go to every Sunday without fail. Everything on the menu is amazing. I moved away for a few years and the only thing I missed in Salt Lake City was The park cafe and the Cathedral of Madeleine. It’s not just the best breakfast in SLC it’s the best breakfast period. The food, I'm listing at 2 stars due to cost vs. taste. We ordered the salmon, which came out luke warm. We also ordered the chicken which Looked promising but was rather bland.

Service was fine, but not as high end as i would have expected for a place that is rated #1 in trip advisor and other locations.

Tried the Nomad burger. Honestly thought a burger with salt and vinegar chips on it would be odd, but this is one of the best burgers I’ve had. And the beer is amazing! Has the Golden Spike Hefeweizen and could not be happier. Austin and Taylor were friendly and attentive.
