“I wish I could score higher than a 5/5. This place is perfection. The vibes are immaculate. We went on a Saturday morning, and there was a live band playing light cafe music. They have outdoor and indoor seating which gives it almost a European cafe vibe.
The service was great as well, but the food and atmosphere stole the show. We got the toffee nut latte, a cappuccino, the avocado toast with bacon and the cottage cakes. Every single thing we got was spectacular and we scraped our plates cleans.“

“We came here for brunch for my girlfriend’s birthday and it was also our first time coming here. The food was absolutely delicious AND we got a free dessert for her birthday. Not only was it free, it was a delicious, house-made crème brûlée! We will definitely be coming back!“

“I recently discovered Picnic Cafe and have visited 3 times since discovery. They may not be known for their everything bagels but they are very good for SLC. Each time, I have ordered an iced strawberry matcha and my partner usually drinks an iced latte. The iced latte's are good and reliable. The iced raspberry matcha is on the sweeter side, in my opinion. The sweetness is not overwhelming but is notable compared to my other go-to matcha spot.
They have a quaint inside seating area with spots to get work done. If you're there to chat, their outdoor patio is where I'd choose to sit. Parking throughout the neighborhood around, there are not assigned spots available.
My one complaint is that they open at 8 am. I would love to occasionally stop by on my way to work but that is far to late. I haven't been to any other coffee shops in SLC that aren't open until 8.“

“I absolutely LOVE Rise By Good Day! Moving here frrom a town in IL just north of Chicago, I never expected to find quality kielbasa in UT... but low and behold, Rise By Good Day has saved my polish cravings and kept my stomach happy. You have to get the Weselna Kielbasa. It is my absolute favorite. You also cannot go wrong with pierogies either. Or the poppy seed bread. Or the polish apple pie. I also love trying all the other polish foods and snacks. The ketchup is my new go to. Don't get me started on the Paczki. That's a delicacy of its own. Stop in, you wont be disappointed. The service is amazing. The owner is so friendly, as are her staff. I cannot recommend this place enough. I am looking forward to them opening the new location in West Jordan and trying their pierogi pizza and kielbasa pizza. Mmm!!“

“A classic when it comes to breakfast foods. If you are in west valley/salt lake I HIGHLY recommend trying this place out. Just know this is a very popular establishment with not a lot of seating so you will be waiting for a spot for the most part especially on the weekends.“

“Incredible coffee, cozy atmosphere & good vibes! We both got the C’mere latte & it was otherworldly. Espresso was perfectly dialed, and the flavor profile of everything together was delicious!
The barista was warm & welcoming and there’s a decent amount of seating options if you want to spend some time here. Since this place is a bar in the evening, you’ll still need to show your ID to get in!
This will definitely be our new go-to coffee spot & we can’t wait to come back!“

“This place is a gem if you can find it. Small, no frills food counter with outstanding breakfast and coffee. Machaca eggs and chicken fried steak and eggs were off the charts.
Parking: It's located above a trucking parts and service counter so parking is limited.“

“Sugar Space is so great! It was 1.5 miles from the Koa where I was staying and I wasn’t sure if it was worth the walk, it’s got a great little coffee shop/ cafe, the food and drinks are nice, Edgar the barista is sooooo sweet and accommodating and the owners are really great. They have good speed internet to get some work done and even a play area for kids. The owners were so kind and welcoming! It was the best part of my visit to Salt Lake!“

“my daughter was not able to eat anything for 2 days due to going through chemo she said this truck smelled amazing and so I bought the award winning ribs she was able to eat all of it it didn't hurt her stomach great source of protein very kind staff very fast. this is now our go to food so she can finish fighting cancer!“

“We had an unusual birthday cake request for my 7 year olds birthday today. Being new to the area, I wandered in seeing the store to ask about ordering a cake. I’ve never heard of them or experienced them before. They did an amazing job!! This was better than I even expected. The staff was SO kind. I will definitely be coming back for my future birthday cake needs as well as any other bakery and lunch items.“

“Not my favorite location. I love the soup kitchen, but I found that the food at this location wasn't as good for some reason (mainly the tomatoe soup, it was watery and not as flavorful), and it's soo busy and the service was slow. Love the other locations though!“
“I honestly think the food here is great. I’ve been an employee here for a while and always get food from the grill. Can’t really go wrong with the grill- breakfast burritos, burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, grilled BLT. I’ll usually grab food from here before I head home from work- cheap and good food!“
“Great store, has fun events and tons of product. Very welcoming, inclusive, and respectful. Might be a little shortstaffed for the amount of traffic they get for events but a little patience goes a long way! A+ location.“
