“Delicious flavors, fun environment, but I will say I would like them to have a sugar free, natural flavored product for more health conscious consumers. The best flavor I found for that, that I could tell, is the Madagascar Black Vanilla, which isn't too sweet. It had a clean and robust vanilla flavor and the black coloring makes what is often a bland ice cream to be intriguing and fun. They are selling franchises and it will be interesting to see how they spread across the country.“

“October 13, 2022, my sister and I went to Leatherby's for lunch at 12:10 p.m. We order a Philly cheese steak sandwich, and we waited 20 minutes for it, it was barely warm. It had hardly and meat, green peppers, onions on it! I said to the waiter this Philly cheese steak sandwich was on the Menu said The BEST Seller. It had nothing is on it; he took it back and (they probably spit on it) when came back it STILL hardly had any meat etc. on it! It was the worst Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich!!! Service VERY Poor! Food VERY POOR!!!“

“I've been here several times, always a treat, and have never left a review. Located in great part of town, just love 9th and 9th. The gelateria itself has just an assortment of arts and ceramics and decorations. The seating area is super cozy. Some tables and chairs and some couches - that could swallow you whole if you let them they are so squishy. The gelato is great, very creamy. I think the best gelato in Salt Lake. The serving size is great too, they usually pack it in and over the top of the cup. Thanks to the owners and workers of this shop!“

“Blacksmith Ice Cream Co. is our go-to ice-cream place in SLC. They have a large upstairs loft that can fit larger groups. Fun and friendly atmosphere! They have flavors of the month if you want to try something new. You can get to-go pints/quarts for ice cream at home or an event. They have ice-cream that accommodate some dietary preferences which is always a win.

“This is my favorite Handel’s location! It’s perfect if you have kids—you can bring them on summer nights or in the fall to hang out on the little patio area in front and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s also great for a casual date night. The staff is friendly, though sometimes a little slow and the girls at the counter can seem a bit confused at times. Still, it’s a great spot to enjoy some ice cream!“

The bad: smelled awful, the actual tea was just okay and it took a long time for our order and we were the only ones waiting.

“So I want to start off by saying flavor and taste is subjective. Was this my favorite ice cream, no. Why would I come on here and give it five stars then. The service was FIVE STARS!! If I could give the service TEN STARS I would!! I ordered two soft serve scoops for my children and I was going to split a pint with my oldest and I. We tried the mint chocolate brownie and we didn't like it. I love mint ice cream and I love mint brownie, but it tasted like spearmint gum to us. They use real mint. Many people may love this, sadly it wasn't for us. The sweet young lady that works here is sooo kind and generous. She let us choose another pint. Sadly, we also did not like this flavor. I told her I am so sorry I don't expect you to give us a third one, and asked if one of them would like to take it home since we didn't like it. I didn't want it to go to waste. She not only took it off our bill but gave us each a scoop of the soft ice cream for free. THAT IS SERVICE!! NO where does this NOW-A-DAYS! She was sooo kind, and soooo generous. I think she is the one in charge, so I hope this review doesn't get her in trouble. If she is not the boss, please know that she made this customer VERY happy. She should be rewarded for her kindness and not get in trouble. She understands customer service better than almost anyone I have ever met!! She was so kind and polite about me not liking the ice cream and didn't make me feel bad. THANK YOU! You made this momma happy!!“
