“For the home barista/coffee connoisseur looking to buy whole beans: Daily Rise is one of those gems I’ve found after searching long and hard for years. I roast my own coffee, and I am a coffee connoisseur. (Difficult to please), but every now and then it’s nice to take a break and enjoy someone else’s work. I’ve never ordered a coffee from them, but through buying whole beans, I have tried just about everything they offer over the years.Starting with my favorite; Snowbasin. It is very well balanced and has just the right combination of flavors. Snowbasin makes an excellent espresso, and is easy to dial in a great shot. Perfect for a cappuccino! Their espresso blend is also good, and makes a difficult competition vs the Snowbasin. I’d say it’s a bit more “roasty” and bold, as it cuts through the milk a bit more. Perfect for lattes. I’ve also tried their Brazil, Papa New Guinea, and their Wilderness blends. If you roast your own beans, you can have a lot of fun making your own blends with the single origins lending their respective flavors. The Papa New Guinea is rich, smooth, and buttery. The Brazil adds a great balanced body.Their Wilderness blend was less memorable I’d say. I remember it being good but difficult to stand up to their espresso blend, and the Snowbasin.The baristas have always been friendly, and it’s just a great place all around.“
“Black rifle is worth supporting for veterans and service members. The coffee is fine but nothing special, and it is slower than the average Starbucks. That being said the workers are so nice, and the mission is great. I expect after some growing pains the coffee will continue to improve.“
“I'm a GCF regular. Currently, my drink is a plain iced oatmilk latte- unsweetened. They do it perfectly. Coffee so good it doesn't need sweetener! My drink used to be the very, very sweet Chai latte. Once they were out and I even enjoyed the Jasmin green tea prepared as a latte instead. The Jasmin green latte isn't on the menu, but they've always done their best to accommodate. Above and beyond.“
“I seriously don’t know why Layton Dutch bros have 2-3 star reviews on their most recent ones.. I have been coming here since they’ve opened the Layton location. I also have been going to other locations like riverdale, centerville, salt lake, and now clearfield and literally no Dutch bros compared to the Layton Dutch bros. Yes they do get busy but I’d rather be sitting in that busy line than going to any other shops. This is my home shop. I can choose to go to any other but I’d rather go to Layton.Kayla, Makayla, Colton, West and ALL of the other Dutch employees that run Layton,… THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF ME AND MY FAMILY!! You all are truly wonderful people it’s always a joy to see all of you regardless of you have an upset customer all of you still manage to smile and keep your composure and still keep that line going.Kayla!!! “I come often, and somehow they still manage to exceed my expectations every time. I think it starts with great leadership that sets a great example, then hiring and training great people and supporting them well. Staff works hard as hell, everyone really hustles but maintains great attitudes and smiles. Impressive how they remember names and drinks, and almost everyone who walks in is warmly welcomed. Even those leaving sometimes get a cheerful send-off. Drinks and food are consistently tasty. If I had a selfish wish it would be to hear more 1970s pop/rock on their music system, but I do hear it sometimes and I always enjoy my visit a bit more on those days! Hot tip: If you're not using the Starbucks app and rewards program, you're making a big mistake. I believe their app and rewards program are two of the best in the food/beverage industry.Parking: Plenty of parking on property or in adjacent businesses. Recommend not parking near door as daily deliveries may block you in. Also, chaotic drive-thru traffic warrants parking a bit further away and enjoying a short walk to the door.“
“I come here pretty often to do homework and decided maybe I should finally review them. I love this place so much. The staff are so friendly and they very clearly love working with each other. The manager, Mary I think, is so sweet and always willing to lend her employees a hand, which is something I can't say I've seen at other coffee shops. The camaraderie of the staff just makes the atmosphere so amazing, and they always have good music playing in the back (the lobby music is alright). The drinks are well made and if anything is ever wrong they've always been completely willing to remake my drink for free. Will definitely continue to come here for some time and highly recommend if you're a college kid needing somewhere with a good atmosphere to study.Kid-friendliness: They're super considerate of families with kids and always make sure the kids drinks are out first. I've seen some kids come in that are just horrible and destroy their displays or are running around disturbing people, and the staff are always so courteous and patient.“
“This is a great 7-11!! They almost always have fresh hot dogs and good customer service. There's a girl that works sometimes, named Yona. She is very polite, attentive and runs the store well. It's very refreshing, especially from a local 7-11!“
