We stayed at the Alaskan Inn 2 blocks from here and everyone couldn't stop reccomending this place a 5 course meal $25-35 a person and made from scratch with fresh local ingredients. Its well worth it and ask about the story of the place it just adds to how amazing that place is!They do take reservations but we didn't have one. Very old very quaint, we love the place!The food is to die for.Limited seating make a reservation.A seasonal operation with shortened hours in off season,They do not serve much frozen food, fresh trout is a menu staple.Will go here every time we are in the area, which is no t often enough as we live 2,000 km. away!

This gem takes you to a time of years passed. The ambience is wonderful. The food is delicious and fair priced. The staff was attentive and kind. Their Christmas decorations were incredible. One of my husbands and my favorite local restaurants.
