“Brand new Ramen restaurant in Park City. Sorely needed! Tucked away in the corner of a parking lot (next to the Starbucks on Park) This is a winner. You walk in are embraced by the warmth of the room which is very tastefully decorated with Japanese calligraphy adoring the walls and bouncy Japanese music playing at the right level. Service was attentive, and as it was taking a bit long for the kitchen to get our order out we were brought a seaweed salad to thank us for our patience. Wonderful flavor on the salad and that is a $7.00 appetizer. For our mains I went with Tonkotsu and my wife choose the Shoyu. The Tonkotsu is described as being Fukuoka style creamy with a 20-hours pork bone soup. It includes egg noodles, 3 slices of soft, unctuous Chashu pork belly, nori and 2 shrimp tempura. It also included a Lava egg marinated in Shoyu sauce. This Ramen rocks it. Sauce was deep, rich and you could really taste the pork. The Chashu was melt in your mouth tender and the egg was cooked perfectly. The Shoyu Ramen was the beef equivalent of my choice. It is described as Usukuchi Shoyu clear beef beone soup with egg noodles and 1 ounces of rib eye and chuck. It also includes a sous-vide egg and the shrimp tempura. It again, was full of rich, deep beef flavor in the broth and the meat was both tender and very flavorful. Pro tip - eat the 2 pieces of tempura immediately as the soften and cool quickly. I like mine with some of their chili sauce to punch it up a bit. We have been waiting for what seemed like forever for this place to open. Then it did and we could find the time to get in there until today. We will be back on a regular basis. Yama has everything going for it. Cool decor, good service and great food. I am sure once the hordes of tourists show up that this place will be packed but we figure out a time to get back in there again and again.“

“Malia was out server. She was excellent. When I told her that I don’t eat raw food she made a few suggestions. I ordered the beef veggie bowl and it was delicious! My friends ahead sushi and they were happy with it. I’ll be back soon and I’ll look for Malia!“
